  1. [15:00] Romani cos Montclaire says, "Greetings Yonah."
  2. [15:00] Yonah says, "Ah! Hey, master Romani."
  3. [15:00] Romani cos Montclaire asks, "How are you?"
  4. [15:00] Yonah bows at Romani, smiling at his mentor.
  5. (Yonah)
  6. [15:00] Romani smiles back to Yonah with a small nod.
  7. (Romani cos Montclaire)
  8. [15:00] Yonah says, "I'm great. Just came from the mine - got a bit lucky this time."
  9. [15:00] Yonah asks, "How about you?"
  10. [15:01] Romani cos Montclaire says, "Can not complain. I talked to Rinn during the battle and she said she attacked to destroy the bridge to prevent bandit attacks. So, since the bridge is still standing, I am here to prevent bandit attacks."
  11. [15:02] Romani cos Montclaire says, "I think that being constructive, and making things through effort is better then tearing things down."
  12. [15:02] Yonah nods.
  13. (Yonah)
  14. [15:02] Yonah asks, "I agree. What's that battle you said?"
  15. [15:03] Romani cos Montclaire says, "There was an attack from Theria on the bridge before us. It was that battle."
  16. [15:04] Yonah says, "Oh, that one. We've had some trouble here too, months ago. Several therians were here, scouting for people to attack. They found Tonak, one of ours, and we came here to help him."
  17. [15:04] Yonah says, "Even the HIgh Lady herself was involved. Quite the mess... but we got out without any major injuries, thankfully."
  18. [15:05] Romani cos Montclaire says, "I do not doubt such. This bridge does seem to be a place that brews conflict, but I believe that is only because we do not have guards out here."
  19. [15:05] Romani cos Montclaire asks, "If we had people willing to stand here, and stop those fights from happening? To talk those Therians out of their attacks?"
  20. [15:06] Romani cos Montclaire says, "I believe that we will have less incidents."
  21. [15:06] Yonah began to walk, standing beside his master, but kept looking at him.
  22. (Yonah)
  23. [15:06] Yonah asks, "So I suppose you want to be that person?"
  24. [15:06] Romani cos Montclaire says, "I feel as if it is my responsibility. I heard Rinn's words, so I want to be able to prove there is another way then through destruction."
  25. [15:07] Yonah says, "That's a nice thing. I mean, the proper way that we deal with differences can't be by undoing all progress we had achieved."
  26. [15:08] Yonah says, "And this bridge's a symbol, too."
  27. [15:08] Romani cos Montclaire says, "I agree. The proper way to do things is to see a solution, then act on it. Peace, and lives can be saved if we see how to, then make a way too. And I hope so. I want this bridge to be a symbol. A big symbol. A strong symbol."
  28. [15:09] Romani cos Montclaire says, "I want to make it into something that represents peace."
  29. [15:10] Yonah wasn't looking at Romani anymore. They were both facing the same thing - the darkness of the forest in the night ahead of them, awaiting for someone to arrive.
  30. (Yonah)
  31. [15:10] Yonah says, "Mind if I stay you here? Maybe to make you some company."
  32. [15:11] Romani cos Montclaire says, "Feel free to. There is no guarentee that people may come, but I will be staying here another hour or two."
  33. [15:12] Yonah asks, "Sure. Besides, this may give us time to fill in since my last lessons. Have you heard of the incident with the occult?"
  34. [15:12] Romani cos Montclaire asks, "What incident with the occult?"
  35. [15:12] Romani cos Montclaire says, "Do tell."
  36. [15:12] Yonah says, "Heh.."
  37. [15:14] The druid cross his arms, smiling at the darkness in front of him and the bishop. Back then he felt quite embarassed by what happened, but now it had become a good story and a lesson for Yonah.
  38.
  39. "It happened the last time I came to Osrona. I met with lady Elora, I'm sure you know her. And we began to talk about the holy school and their aspects. She then left for a moment to do something else, I think helping someone...", he pauses.
  40. (Yonah)
  41. [15:16] Yonah says, "Anyway, after she left, all of a sudden, a felinae showed up. She was injured and had what seemed to be remains of occult magic on her, still hurting the girl. She asked for help in the middle of the square, and since we had no medics around and I mentioned I was learning about holy magic, people called me in."
  42. [15:17] Once again, Romani would lower himself to the ground. While also looking out and across the bridge, he began to tack out plaster and brick. Old stones of the bridge, destroyed by the war, would be taken out, and new stones would be attached in their place.
  43.
  44. "A Felinae with the remnants of occultism?" That made him frown.
  45.
  46. "More details, if you would."
  47. (Romani cos Montclaire)
  48. [15:17] Yonah says, "Well, she seemed to have been attacked by someone. Maybe here, since she came from the west, but I didn't get to find out."
  49. [15:20] The druid was now gesticulating to the darkness, like if Romani was in front of them.
  50.
  51. "So I came in and attempted to repel the occult by myself. I've read that occult is one of the strongest types of spell because even after being casted by a magi, it continues to destroy what it sticks too - like the fire, though without burning it. The girl seemed to have arrived after a few hours, so the occult had spread through her limbs - they were all colored in a light purple, but her veins were very visible in a strong royal color, pretty nasty thing to see", he said.
  52. (Yonah)
  53. [15:23] Romani nodded.
  54.
  55. "From the west, but did not get anything on what the Assailant looked like. That is the slightest bit troubling." A small frown would cross Romani's features, a small hum just across his lips.
  56.
  57. "Were you able to repel the occultism? It sounds like a wound that might require one trained in medical arts as well. Occultism spreading is a problem, especially if we do not know what the one who spreads it looks like."
  58. (Romani cos Montclaire)
  59. [15:28] He shrugs.
  60.
  61. "Well, no", he said, with a bit of embarassment on his tone. "I figured I could cast holy magic to repel it and leave more physical damage for a medic. Unfortunately I hadn't progressed much since that day with you, so all I was able to do was casting a small bright spot on my hand and touch the felinae's chest with", he pauses, looking at the bishop now to see if he'd make any expressions.
  62.
  63. "And since occult is drawn to the holy because of the antagonical nature of these two magics, the 'infection' began to retreat and came to fight the source of the holy magic, going to my hand. It easily destroyed it and then, well...", he pauses.
  64. (Yonah)
  65. [15:29] Yonah says, "Then the occult came at me. My hand, then my arm - it left her and began to spread into my body."
  66. [15:31] "Holy magic would have a chance to repel the occultism, if only slightly. I think that you were on the right train of thought, but should have seen about studying a few medical books as well." The Bishop would nod, both judging yet understanding of the answer as he let out a small relaxed sigh.
  67.
  68. "I also would have chosen the point of contact to be arms." He does not go further on that topic.
  69.
  70. "It is good that the infection began to retreat from her, but when it came towards you, were you able to fend it off?"
  71. (Romani cos Montclaire)
  72. [15:32] Yonah exclaims, "Well, no. Hahah..!"
  73. [15:32] Yonah says, "Truth be told, I never felt so much pain in my whole life. Couldn't do anything."
  74. [15:33] Romani cos Montclaire says, "Unfortunate, but I do understand. For one, occultism is painful for anyone, but those with holy magic are especially adverse."
  75. [15:33] Yonah says, "I've never had contact with the occult before, so... I guess there's a first time for everything."
  76. [15:36] The druid notice how crowded that bridge was beginning to get. At first it were just him and the bishop, but now it had a few other magis gathered around, though each of them seemed to be doing their own things. Was it always this crowded?
  77.
  78.
  79. "By then the whole market was surrounding me, but nobody wanted to touch me, which was a good idea. Someone saw Sparrow, another holy magi laying around, and called him in to try to repel the occult off me. A few minuted later lady Elora returns and helps as well. With them both the occult was easily dealt with, and in a couple minutes it had vanished", he ended.
  80. (Yonah)
  81. [15:37] Yonah says, "Kabal took in the felinae to the hospital and she was questioned about what happened, but I don't know anything after that."
  82. [15:39] The bridge did seem to be busy. It was also noticed by the Bishop. A small nod, or a small smile sent the ways of those around as he would pave another brick into the road, or glance upwards towards Yonah.
  83.
  84. "That is good. Sparrow is another Bishop of the church, I am certain that his light magic certainly helped. And Lady Elora sounds like she helped a great amount as well. I am glad that you were able to deal with that occultism."
  85.
  86. "I will have to seek out Kabal, later. Maybe he will have the details on the occultist that assaulted the Feliane. If I had a name, I could seek out the one who did it."
  87. (Romani cos Montclaire)
  88. [15:41] Yonah says, "Yeah. I haven't seem them ever since, because from the market lady Elora took me to a place where I could rest and then I returned to Myllenoris."
  89. [15:41] Romani cos Montclaire asks, "That does make sense. I am glad that you were able to recover from the ordeal. Has anything happened recently in Myllenoris?"
  90. [15:42] Yonah says, "Nothing that I know of. I mostly stay out of politics. It's... too much to me. I try to assist people with more, uh, mundane things."
  91. [15:42] Yonah says, "Help younger magis with whatever they need, help the farmers with their crops..."
  92. [15:43] Romani cos Montclaire says, "Politics are not for everyone. I think I have a distaste for some of it myself. I like to help others, and often times politics does seem to complicate matters."
  93. [15:45] Yonah says, "I think that these people like the king and the High Lady deal with too much for just one person. And I think that sometimes the choices they have to make are... ethically questionable, at the very least."
  94. [15:46] Romani cos Montclaire says, "To be expected, honestly. They deal with too much for one people, but they are leaders. When one leads, problems get taken to them, and it is not easy to hand it down the ladder, so to speak."
  95. [15:46] Yonah says, "True."
  96. [15:49] The druid sits on the bridge, crossing his legs.
  97.
  98. "In times past, when things between Myllenoris and Ilburg were less tense, I used to travel there to sell a few supplies I'd find. People there say that they were attacked out of pure hate, and that the claim that there were witched in Ilburg was just a lie", he says, looking at the dark.
  99.
  100.
  101. "Now in Myllenoris they say that Ilburg is a lair of criminals and they are-", stops, as he sees two familiar faces come down the mountain and straight into the forest.
  102. (Yonah)
  103. [15:49] Yonah says, "..."
  104. [15:49] Romani cos Montclaire asks, "Do you know those two?"
  105. [15:49] Yonah says, "Anyway... it's like there's two versions of the story."
  106. [15:49] Yonah says, "I do."
  107. [15:50] Yonah whispers: They were here during the attack. But I don't think they were looking for trouble this time.
  108. [15:50] Yonah whispers: Hopefully they won't ever again.
  109. [15:51] Romani cos Montclaire whispers: Why did the attack happen? And were they violently involved?
  110. [15:52] Yonah whispers: Yes. And as for the reason, I don't know and I don't think anyone does. That day at the outpost, remember? A few hours after you left Ella showed up asking for help.
  111. [15:52] Romani cos Montclaire whispers: Right. That is a problem. We need to know who the aggresive party is, before engaging in more.
  112. [15:53] Yonah whispers: I think that Lady Asta could provide more details than me. She and the aggressors seemed to have... fought before.
  113. [15:53] Yonah whispers: I think that Lady Asta could provide more details than me. She and the aggressors seemed to have... fought before.
  114. [15:54] Romani cos Montclaire whispers: Perhaps she would be willing to have some sort of interview.
  115. [15:54] Yonah nods, looking at the dark.
  116. (Yonah)
  117. [15:55] Yonah whispers: I can talk to her if you wish.
  118. [15:55] Romani cos Montclaire whispers: Could help.
  119. [15:57] Yonah says, "... anyway, it's late now and I have to return this tome I've been reading."
  120. [15:57] Romani cos Montclaire says, "Understandable. Yonah, have a safe trip back, and may your path be ever bright."
  121. [15:58] Yonah asks, "Thanks! And you watch yourself too, alright?"
  122. [15:58] Romani cos Montclaire says, "I will make sure to take care."
  123. [15:58] Romani chuckles.
  124. (Romani cos Montclaire)
  125. [15:58] Yonah stands and goes into the woods to the south, waving at his master.
  126. (Yonah)
