The universe is in the midst of Halo 3 as of the next planned topic, but as of now is during the Battle of Delta Halo/Installation O5, with Cortana [Kira's friend], Sergeant Major Johnson, and John-117, among others such as other higher ups in the Marines and the Prophets, aware of Interferences. There is a planned topic to Halo: Reach, but it involves time travel and has no changes in events, with Halsey Enlightened. The Gravemind and the Monitors/Forerunners are as well.)

Shepards know about Interferences, and Isaac and Pyro in particular. Universe is in the beginning of Mass Effect 3, with everyone loyal from 2 and the only casualty being Zaeed Messani.
