  1. You must be tired.
  2.
  3. Having to pick your way this far into the Umbra on your own, facing the twisted landscapes and strange spirits that live this deep, you are either stubborn or on a mission. I do not know why you think its worth all the trouble to visit a old man like myself, I dont have anything to offer you.
  4.
  5. Not anymore anyways.
  6.
  7. I lost too much in the war, lost more after it too. I lost my Sisters, my children, my lovers and friends. I lost them all because we did our job in healing the world and for what? For us to be hunted and slaughtered for our work, to be driven into the arms of the thing we once stood against if we wanted to live? All I have left is my pain and memories, decorating this cavern you see us in.
  8.
  9. Why did you come here. What is there left to take from us, from me, after everything we endured. Are you here for Totem? He isnt hard to find, being nothing more than a lazy slab, left as nothing but a apathetic being after all of us fell. How would you feel if you were hunted down to such a number that the Devil looked safer than the supposed Angels.
  10.
  11. I am tired, child. I have lived a long existence here in the Deep Umbra and I've done it alone for most of it. Honestly I should have known that wouldn't last when those two coyotes found me moons ago, it was only a matter of time before they lead someone here. So why did they bring you, where are they now for that matter.
  12.
  13. Did you kill them too?
  14.
  15. Dont look surprised, child. I am aware of how their kind were treated, how they were blamed as aiding in that War somehow. I know how they avoid the Nation on a regular basis out of unease and distrust. So where did you leave their bodies after you were done with them. Did you at least have the respect to place them close to a Gaunlet so they can go home.
  16.
  17. Why deny it. After everything I've seen and experienced I know first hand how we Fera are treated once our use is no longer useful. Why should I believe you didn't hurt them, that you found me on our own, can you tell me this?
  18.
  19. Why are you here, child. Why are you troubling a old man mourning his family. Why are you so cruel. What more do you want from me, I have nothing left to give to the world that would sooner see me devoured by it. What possible reason is there left for you to seek me out.
  20.
  21. Why are you so determined.
