  1. *One day out in the city, a young Frou-Frou duelist was observing his Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster cards. He loved dueling others and trying his skills out against his opponents with his variety deck. He liked each and every card in his deck, but the card he was most fond of was his Sapphire Dragon, which was sometimes known also as the Luster Dragon. He loved to play this particular dragon most of all in his duels, and would always do anything to protect it when it’s in play, devising all sorts of strategies to keep it in play. Of course, he was also careful not to make careless moves because of this. He always paid good attention to the amount of life points he lost and spent, and which card effects he used with careful consideration. On this particular day, young Crynel was looking around for a duelist to challenge. It didn’t matter who it was as long as they were willing to duel, as he carried his duel disk around on his arm while looking through his cards. Just then, he saw a young dragon with a duel disk on his own arm as well. Realizing this was a duelist, he eagerly approached.* Crynel: “Hey there, young fella. X3 I notice you also have a duel disk like I do.” Young Dragon: “Oh, hello there. ^.=.^ I’ve been looking for someone to play with, but so far, I haven’t found anyone who wants to duel with me.” Crynel: “Well, I’m in the mood. Fancy having a duel with me? >:3” Young Dragon: “Oh, you really want to duel with me? Sure! I’m Leroy, by the way.” Crynel: “I’m Crynel. I’m looking forward to this match, boy. X3”
  2. *A moment later, the two duelists are in their positions on the battle field, and ready their duel disks. As they do so, they trade and shuffle each other’s decks carefully.* Crynel: “I’ve got to warn you, my variety deck is pretty tricky to deal with. What’s the theme of your deck?” Leroy: “Well, I’ve got several fairy-tale themed cards in my deck, so I guess that’s my theme?” Crynel: “Fairy tales, huh? This should be interesting, then. X3” *After they’re done shuffling, they take their positions* Leroy and Crynel: “Alright, it’s time to duel!” *Their life points set to 4000, and they both draw 5 cards. Crynel then flips a coin* Crynel: “Heads, I go first, tails, you go first.” *It lands on heads* Crynel: “There you have it, it’s my move.” *Crynel takes a look at his hand. He sees that the cards he’s draw are the Rogue Doll, Lizardman, Scapegoat, Sword & Shield, and by a stroke of luck, his favorite monster, Sapphire Dragon.” Crynel: “*thinking: “There you are, my favorite dragon. X3 I’d better hold off on playing you, though, until I can get a feel for this guy’s strategy.”* Aloud: “For my first move, I’ll throw down 2 facedown cards, and then end my turn. Your move.” Leroy: “Hey, how come you didn’t summon a monster? Oh, alright, then I’ll draw.” *He takes the topmost card off of his deck, and then picks a card from his hand and places it on the battlefield.* Leroy: “I summon Forest Wolf in attack mode!” *On his side of the field, a wolf wearing a woman’s night-gown, based off of the wolf in Little Red Riding Hood, appeared on his side of the field, bearing an attack of 1800, and a defense of 300.* Leroy: “Since you have no monsters, you’re wide open for an attack. Forest Wolf, attack his life points directly!” *The Forest Wolf howls and charges at Crynel, but he snickers, and presses a button on his duel disk* Crynel: “I activate my facedown quick-play magic card: Scapegoat!” *His Scapegoat card flips up and reveals itself, and suddenly four small little goats of different colors appear on the field in defense mode, bearing 0 attack and defense points* Leroy: “Shoot! Four monsters at once! Ah well, I’ll just knock them all down one by one! Forest Wolf, attack one of his Scapegoats!” *The Forest Wolf charges again, but this time he pounces it, and in one motion, scarfs it down into its belly, while Leroy places two cards facedown.* Leroy: “I’ll put these two facedown, and that’s all for this turn.” *Crynel then takes his turn to draw his next card, and draws a card known as “Rewrite the Script” which featured several parchments on the picture.* Crynel: *thinking: Hmm, this card should be useful. I should put it down for now.”* *Crynel then places his Sapphire Dragon on the battlefield* Crynel: “I summon my Sapphire Dragon to the field in attack mode!” *As his azure Sapphire Dragon, with 1900 attack and 1600 defense, appears on the field, roaring proudly* Leroy: “Dude, 1900?! That’s high for just a 4-star monster!” Crynel: “I could say the same about your Forest Wolf, since it has only 3 stars. X3 still my Sapphire Dragon has enough attack power to blast your wolf right to the graveyard. X3 But to make sure this actually deals some real damage, I’ll activate my facedown card, Sword & Shield!” *As he activates his Sword & Shield magic card.* Crynel: “Sword & Shield effect is this: it swaps the attack power of every face-up monster with its defense, and vise-verse for this one turn. You know what that means. >:3” Leroy: “Oh shoot! My wolf has only 300 defense points! O.=.O” Crynel: “Right, while mine has 1600, more than enough to make a serious dent in your life points. Sapphire Dragon, attack his Forest Wolf now!” *As the Sapphire Dragon roars, and breathes a stream of fire at the Forest Wolf, scorching it, after which it’s blasted apart, while Leroy loses 1300 life points from the different in attack power.* Leroy: “Man, that was pretty intense…” Crynel: “Sapphire Dragon is my favorite, after all. X3” *Leroy then draws another card.* Leroy: “I activate a magic card known as Card of Sanctity! When this is played, both players must draw until they both have six cards in their hands.” *Both Crynel and Leroy then draw three cards each, and as Leroy looks through his hand, he snickers.* Leroy: “Looks like I got a good draw on this one. X3” *As he pulls a card out of his hand and summons it to the field.* Leroy: “I summon my Iron Hans to the field!” *As a bearded man wielding an axe appear on the field, bearing 1200 attack and 800 defense.* Leroy: “When my Iron Hans is summoned to the field, I’m allowed to special summon an Iron Knight from my deck to the field.” *Leroy then summons a knight on a white stallion to the field, bearing 1700 attack and 700 defense.* Leroy: “Next, I’ll throw down a sweet little card known as Gingerbread House!” *And he played a magic card that summoned a large house made of a large assortment of candy on his side of the field.* Crynel: “Hey, that house reminds me of that story of Hansel and Gretel. It looks really sweet. X3” Leroy: “It’s not just sweet, it’s also full of surprises. You’ll see soon enough. Anyways, I’ll put both my monsters in defense mode, and I’ll end my turn for now.” Crynel: “Alright then, my move, so I’ll draw, and—“ *but as he draws his card, a vortex suddenly comes out of the Gingerbread House, and snares Crynel’s Sapphire Dragon.” Crynel: “Meeep! Hey, what’s happening to my Sapphire Dragon?! >Ov=vO<” Leroy: “By the looks of it, he’s fallen to the irresistible scents of my Gingerbread House. X3 Come on in, Sapphire Dragon! Eat up as much as you can handle!” *As the Sapphire Dragon is pulled inside of the Gingerbread House, which rocks around a bit, before his Sapphire Dragon is ejected back out of it, but with a very noticeable fat belly.* Crynel: “Um… What just happened?” Leroy: “I know Gingerbread House seems like a good card at first, but once you go inside, there’s a price to pay. See, it gives any monster on my opponent’s side of the field 600 extra attack points once their turn begins, but if the new total is 2500 or more—Boom! Your monster is destroyed, and I’ll gain 500 life points. X3 Plus, this is a continuous magic card, so it’ll happen to every monster you summon as long as this card is active. X3” Crynel: “Meep! Sapphire Dragon looks ready to blow!” *As the gut of the Sapphire Dragon creaks and groans loudly as it’s gut expands, close to bursting, but then Crynel quickly remembered his facedown magic card* Crynel: “Wait a minute, I know how to stop that! I activate my counter magic card, Rewriting the Script!” Leroy: “What’s that card do? I’ve never heard of that one. o.=.o” Crynel: “This is a powerful magic card that activates whenever my opponent uses a magic or trap card whose effect is determined by attack or defense points. This card allows me to change the point specifications on such cards to which ever amount I chose. X3” Leroy: “What?! Then does that mean you’re going to change the amount for my Gingerbread House’s effect? O.=.O;;” Crynel: “That’s right, but a card this powerful does have quite a cost. First, I have to give up half of my life points to activate it.” *As Crynel’s life points drop to 2000.* Crynel: “Next, I have to roll a die to determine if the card succeeds or not. And get this: I have to roll a two or less. Otherwise, not only will the card fail, I’ll be forced to skip my next turn as well. It’s a great risk, but well worth the payoff if it works.” *A die is then summoned* Crynel: “Alright, time to roll! Give me a 1 or 2, baby!” *As the dice is tossed and bounces around the playing field* Crynel: *thinking: Come on, come on, I really need this to work right now… >>v=v<<;;;*” *As the die rolls to a stop, and lands with a 1 right on top* Crynel: “Alright! It worked! That means I can rewrite the point specification on your Gingerbread House! X3 I’ll change it so that only a monster whose attack strength is 10000 or more will be destroyed by this magic card. X3” Leroy: “Oh no… Now not only is your Sapphire Dragon safe, it’s 600 attack points stronger! o.=.o|||” Crynel: “And since Gingerbread House is continuous, it’ll keep adding 600 additional points to my Sapphire Dragon each turn. X3 Hope you’re hungry, big boy, because you’re about to have the biggest sweet feast of your life! X3” *The Sapphire Dragon pats it’s round gut and murrs as the thought of stuffing itself more, while Crynel got to thinking.* Crynel: “*thinking: Now, I just need to give my dragon some additional protection so that it’s attack power will keep growing until it’s as high as I want it to be, and I’ll be able to wipe out Leroy’s life points with one crushing strike… Quite literally, in fact.> X3”* *Crynel currently had Magic Jammer, Bait Doll, and Mystical Space Typhoon in his hand, and had just drawn Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell as well.* Crynel: “These cards should help me.” *He takes his Magic Jammer and Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell and places them facedown.* Crynel: “I play two cards face down on the field, and activate Mystical Space Typhoon! I’ll use it to destroy your facedown card!” *The card creates a huge gale that blasts Leroy’s facedown card, which turns out to be Enchanted Javelin.* Crynel: “So much for your Enchanted Javelin card. X3 That’ll do it for my turn. It’s your move now. X3” Leroy: “Alright then…” *Leroy draws a card, and then sets the card he drew facedown.* Leroy: “I’ll place a card facedown, and I’ll end my turn.” Crynel: “Alright, my turn. I’ll draw, and activate your Gingerbread House’s ability. Chow time, Sapphire Dragon. X3” *As Crynel draws a new card into his hand, and his Sapphire Dragon is once again pulled into the Gingerbread House, and later it comes out with an even larger gut than before that’s several yards around in size as it’s attack grows to 3100.* Crynel: “Hmm, that card he played face-down must be a trap. I’ll deal with it right now so it won’t cause me trouble.” *Crynel plays his Bait Doll* Crynel: “I activate a magic card known as Bait Doll!” Leroy: “Bait Doll? What does that card do?” *As a scarecrow doll with a scythe appears from the magic card.* Crynel: “Bait Doll allows me to force you to activate one of your facedown cards to see if it’s a trap of magic card. If it’s a magic card, it’s returned to its facedown position, but I get to know what it is. If it’s a trap, though, and the timing for the cards activation is wrong, then the Bait Doll will destroy it. X3” *As the Bait Doll charges at the face down card, which reveals itself to be Dimensional Prison.* Crynel: “I’ve revealed your trap, Dimensional Prison! Since this card can only normally activate when my monster attacks, the timing for this card’s activation is now wrong, so my Bait Doll can destroy it!” *The Bait Doll then proceeds to slash the card apart with its scythe, destroying the card, upon which it vanishes.” Crynel: “The best thing about this card is that instead of going to the graveyard when used, it goes back into my deck, allowing me to use it again. X3 Of course, I have to re-shuffle my deck first.” *Crynel proceeds to shuffle his deck again.* Crynel: “I’ll end it there. X3” *Leroy draws his next card.* Leroy: “I activate Pot of Greed! This lets me draw two additional cards this turn.” *Leroy then draws two more cards, and then sets one of them facedown* Leroy: “For now, I’ll just play this face down and end my turn again.* Crynel: “You know what that means. X3 Time for another round of stuffing for Sapphire Dragon with another power boost. X3” *This time Sapphire Dragon willingly enters the Gingerbread House, and gorges itself on more sweets, coming out really fat and round now as even its arms and legs are starting to look fat while it’s attack power grows to 3700, while Crynel draws a new card.* Crynel: “I’ll pass my turn for now. X3” *Leroy: “I’ve gotta do something about that dragon… He may be getting a lot fatter, but he’s still getting too powerful.” *Leroy draws a card, and then activates one of his face down cards.* Leroy: “I activate the magic card Tribute to the Doomed! By discarding a card from my hand to the graveyard, I can destroy any monster of my choosing! I’ll send this card to the graveyard…” *As he discards the card he just drew* Leroy: “And destroy your Sapphire Dragon!” *A series of bandages appear from a fissure in the ground, and snake towards Crynel’s Sapphire Dragon, but Crynel activates a face down card of his own* Crynel: “I’ll activate my trap, Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell! When my opponent plays a magic card, I can destroy it by discarding a magic card of my own. I’ll take this Lighten the Load card I drew last turn and send it to the graveyard to negate and destroy your Tribute to the Doomed!” *A golden seal circle appeals over the Tribute to the Doomed magic card, and seals it with it’s magic, destroying it.* Crynel: “Oh, by the way, a magic card destroyed by Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell is rendered unusable for the rest of the duel, and that includes any additional copies you might have in your deck. X3” Leroy: “Grrr… >.=.<;;; I’ll end my turn…” *Crynel draws yet another card as his Sapphire Dragon stuffs himself with even more sweets from the Gingerbread House card, as it’s gut becomes incredibly obese and it’s arms and legs become layered with fat, making Sapphire Dragon look large and round in all perspectives. Its attack also rises up to 4300. This process continues for several more turns later on in the duel as Sapphire Dragon continues to gobble up more and more sweets as it grows incredibly fat and stuffed full of sweets. Eventually, after 5 more turns of this, the Sapphire Dragon is massively huge, with a round oversized gut and limbs to match, with a whopping attack power of 7300 points.*
