- It’s a Holy Grail War that commenced with 28 Servants total, with a group of seven corresponding to four color-classifications “Aka no”, “Kuro no”, “of Red”, and “of Black” (I misspelled Aka in the first couple threads, please read "Akai" as "Aka" if you review the archives). The color-classifications aren’t teams, it’s still officially a free-for-all. The war takes place in an artificial world called Akeldama, a city whose layout resembles that of Tokyo. A few thousand people had been abducted at random to fill the roles of the Masters in the Grail War. Due to various circumstances, most have perished, with many of the deceased filling the ranks of an undead army.
- The first day:
- Midday – Anon wakes up in a deserted city without memories, finds a church and summons Avenger of Red (totally not an edgier version of Circe from Sweets-Loving QM’s Akeldama quest) while being teleported into another deserted city. They meet Truvietianne Edelfelt (whose nickname switches between Truvi and Anne) and Lancer of Black (who they later learned to be Perseus) and end up deciding to stick together for a while. Kuro no Lancer (who is later revealed to be Sun Wukong) skirmishes against Perseus before deciding to leave. Two high-school boys (Yumigawa Rushorou who has Lancer of Red and Matsuda Ryuuta who has Caster of Black) that Anon met in the first city join the party as well, along with their Servants.
- Late afternoon – Miss Edelfelt brings everyone up to speed on the history of the Fuyuki Holy Grail Wars. Anon directs Avenger to blow up a couple of ship-based Servants, which they do successfully. Anon’s group finds an abandoned pub with food stocks and has lunch, then split up to survey the city’s leylines to get the lay of the land and find some enemy Servants. Anon and Truvietianne take their Servants as one group, fight Aka no Rider, his army, and an unidentified Archer. Anon eventually uses a Command Spell to let Avenger teleport everyone out of a sticky situation back to the church from the first city. Avenger gives Anon a checkup on his elemental affinity and finds that it’s Ether, but two kinds of it (the normal kind and the extinct type from the Age of Gods). Anon gets a little greedy and suggests he try to summon another Servant, but Avenger gets him to walk it back. Anne and Perseus went into the city to see if there were any survivors, and come back with a diminutive schoolteacher named Koyama Komoe (who goes by Koko, far easier to remember and type). They meet the war’s overseer Triscus Adajio and his bodyguard, get some snarky exposition from them, then learn that he’s about to teleport every remaining human and undead monster out of the preliminary city into random locations in the main one. They teleport back and reunite with Rushorou and Ryuuta, then decide to try to rescue the remaining civilians that night.
- Evening/nightfall – Anon and Avenger teleport to one of the civilians, a building engineer named Tachibana Suzaku. They destroy some undead monsters and encounter Rider of Red and his telepathic Master, Abraxas. Anon and Abraxas exchange information then part ways peacefully. After they take Suzaku to their base they try to find another civilian in a subway station, but only get to her as she’s being bitten by a ghoul. Anon defeats the monster and decides to use one of Avenger’s Noble Phantasms to alter the course of the woman’s transformation so she isn’t reduced to a mindless zombie. She turns into an albino vampire and tentatively goes by ‘Jen’. They interrogate the ghoul, then Jen kills him before they return to base. Anne and Rushorou reported encountering a Dead Apostle Master named Rusalka and her Servant Aka no Lancer Diomedes while trying to recover a civilian, and ended up ceding the civilian’s custody to Rusalka and Diomedes. Anon then passes out.
- Night: Anon is asleep and has a dream involving Avenger’s past.
- The second day:
- Late morning/early afternoon: When Anon wakes up he chats with Jen, learning that she wants to help him kill Servants among other things. He then has a late breakfast with Avenger, where they talk about his dream and some of the rules of the Fate setting. They get Jen and practice magic for a few hours.
- Later afternoon: Anon and Avenger rejoin the rest of the Masters for a strategy meeting and a lecture on the Dead Apostle life-cycle from Truvietianne. They decide to relocate their base, so Anon, Rushorou, and Ryuuta take their Servants and see to securing the target area after leaving Anne and Jen with Koko and Suzaku to do some internet research. Anon tries out rock-climbing with the lads, gets a fragmentary memory flashback, and chooses to carry a mace and gladii as weapons. Rushorou goes back to base to guard against nearby chaos, and Anon goes with Avenger to fight the Archer from the day before, learning that she’s probably an Amazon. They go for hit and run tactics from long range and gradually chip away at her, but are interrupted by Kuro no Berserker (totally not Adelheid from Sweets-Loving QM’s Akeldama quest), who shoots Avenger and asks them a few questions before they juke her. The Berserker and Archer opt against committing to chasing Anon and Avenger down, so they rejoin Ryuuta and his Caster. Soon after, Anne calls Anon and asks for him to return since the situation at their base had gotten even more chaotic. They do, then teleport Koko and Suzaku to Ryuuta and his Caster for their safety before everyone remaining goes to find Perseus, who went to ambush Sun Wukong alone.
- Battle against Sun Wukong: They find that Perseus wounded Wukong’s shoulder and further weakened his immortality, but took substantial damage in Wukong’s counterattack. Wukong’s Master, Fyodor Boglyubov reveals himself along with his allies, Caster of Red and her Master, Sessyouin Kiara. After a brief discussion, Perseus petrifies Wukong and sends the rest of his allies into a desperate flight. The pursuit has some twists and turns, culminating in Wukong revealing that it was a clone that was petrified and his main body was actually hiding in Fyodor’s robes in the form of an ant. He also insinuated that he is capable of eventually reversing the petrification process on himself and that Anne, Jen, and Perseus are at his mercy. Heedless of his threats, Anon and his allies continued to press the attack: the Servants fighting his main body, Anon and Rushorou going after Fyodor and Kiara. Eventually with the assistance of the raging warrior Kuro no Archer, who already had a score to settle with Wukong, they backed the Monkey King into a corner and defeated him. In the process, however, both Anon and Avenger were wounded by the spear of Aka no Lancer, Diomedes, who opportunistically intervened after they’d focused their efforts and energy on Wukong. Though Avenger wounded Diomedes enough to force his retreat, she took the worse of their exchange by far, losing consciousness, and in the face of other developments Anon et al beat a hasty retreat under the cover of a violent thunderstorm, which you later learned to be the work of Caster of Black.
- The Battle’s Aftermath: Deciding to regroup, Anon et al picked up Truvietianne, who informed you that Perseus was killed during battle against Sun Wukong’s copy and that Jen, who now goes by ‘Sophia’, was essentially compelled to leave with Kuro no Berserker, who dropped by after Sophia secured a costly victory against the last clone of the Monkey King. After everyone returned to Caster of Black’s new territory, Anon spends some time recovering and practicing magic, taking the first steps in learning Ether manipulation, which allows him to alter or disrupt the structure of spells cast by others. He then chatted with Koko, who persuaded him to make targeting Triscus Adajio, the war’s overseer, a priority. Anon then checked on Avenger, who appeared to have regained consciousness, and signed a geas to prevent either of them from disclosing information deemed confidential by both parties. Anon then learned that he actually sealed that geas with Hecate, who mimicked Avenger’s form and voice with an illusion to deceive him. She then tells a tale too convoluted for a summary to do justice, and suggests that Anon may have the body of an Einzbern homunculus designed to be the vessel of a spiritual being, and that his consciousness is that of the currently-unidentified spiritual being. After Hecate’s consciousness recedes, Anon leaves to have a challenging sparring match with Lancer of Red, who pushes him to come up with new uses for abilities he already had and leads him to perceive a hitherto dormant facet of his being.
- The evening: Anon has dinner, socializes and agrees to help prepare breakfast for the next morning, and catches up with the real Avenger before going to bed. While asleep, he sees another dream of his Servant's past.
- The Third Day:
- Morning: Anon does a good job in food-prep, Rushorou and Ryuuta take their Servants to find and interrogate the overseer, and Anon and Avenger destroy a corpse-familiar that was poking about the area.
- Early afternoon: Anon and Avenger properly heal the wounds they took while fighting Sun Wukong and Diomedes, then prepare to mobilize against an indirect enemy attack. After fortifying a room of the hotel they were using as a base and leaving the noncombatants there, Anon and Avenger teleport toward an Assassin-class enemy Servant between them and the source of the enemy's attack. Fighting through a number of traps, they battle Aka no Assassin and an androgynous vampire called Delta. The tide of battle sways back and forth, but despite repeatedly using their Noble Phantasm, the enemy is driven back. Anon and Avenger pursue them as they flee, and corner them before a Rank 6 Dead Apostle Eugene Messerschmidt arrives with Archer of Black to relieve his allies. With help from Sophia, Anon and Avenger drive off Archer of Black and the Dead Apostle, and finish off Aka no Assassin, who they learn to be the Blood-Countess Carmilla. Deciding against attacking the enemy's fallback position, they instead evacuate their base to a temple in the western part of the city to recover.
- Late afternoon: Anon tests out an angelic transformation that Sophia was the first to discover, manifesting a pair of etheric wings. He also kisses Truvietianne around the same time, then learns how to purify magical energy to the level it was in the Age of Gods. After that, Anon and Avenger confront an incoming Servant and find that it's Abraxas and Rider of Red, the latter of which challenges Anon to a friendly mace-duel.
- There are also a few side-story interludes sprinkled throughout the threads that give glimpses of some of the Holy Grail War’s other participants.
