As some of you are aware, I plan on taking a hiatus from Kingdom Hearts speedruns after the Aqua Tournament is over. As for how long this hiatus will be, it could be months, it could be minutes. I honestly have no clue. Keep in mind that I'm NOT QUITTING. I'll be back at some point, that much I do know, the question is just how long.

As for why I've made this decision, I guess there are a few reasons.

1. I've been running various games from the KH series for 2 and a half years, which is a long time. I feel like I've accomplished and contributed a lot in this community. To be honest, when I started running KH2 back in January 2013, there was nobody in this community and no resources or learning tools outside of the KH2 SDA thread. I feel like I've made my mark on KH, and I want to try my hand at other stuff. There isn't really a KH game that piques my interest right now in terms of speedrunning. KH2 English seems like a drag, even though running it would probably score me a bunch of free views, I just wouldn't be happy.

2. There's something up with the community. It isn't as friendly and inviting as I remember it about a year ago. I mean, obviously all communities change like that, but there's something going on that bugs me. There's drama and fighting everywhere nowadays, people just can't seem to get along. Hell, some people have alt accounts on Twitter specifically so they can vent in peace. There's a few reasons why the community is what it is nowadays, and it was honestly bound to happen at the rate the community was growing. I'm not here to tell the community what to do, say, or act, and I'm not here to tell you how to fix it, but I am here to say that I'm tired of it, and I'm tired of a lot of you. The community becoming more "toxic" is indeed a contributing factor for why I want to try other speedruns. I'm mostly in the TeamSpeak just to talk to a few select people that I know are my friends and that I know are chill people to talk to. I just figured I should be honest with you guys.

3. My chat is completely unrecognizable nowadays. I'm not sure if it's because I'm running BBS, or because of AGDQ, or something else, but I don't see the same people in chat that I used to see. It feels pretty lonely when you have 60-100 viewers and chat and there's not even one person in chat that I can recognize and talk to and have a chill conversation with. I'm also completely aware that changing speedgames won't fix this, in fact, the chat will probably be even more unrecognizable than before, but I feel like even that would be better than the chat I have right now. That and I need to be more assertive and active in chat. Anybody that's been in my chat knows I'm a chill streamer and I like to let people talk about whatever they want for the most part, so I don't ban or TO all that often, but that also has a downside when people come in chat just to talk shit. I don't know what I did to lose all my loyal viewers, and I'm sorry for whatever I did.

So yeah, that's the situation. I'm kind of in "speedrun limbo" right now, since I just don't know what speedgame to turn to. I'm fully aware that a lot of you just watch me for KH and some will be in chat asking "when are you going back to KH?", but this is how I feel at the moment. And I honestly could be back to speedrunning KH earlier than you think, I honestly have no clue. I have to figure things out for myself.
