  1. Having gone too far, Eris hadn't considered the possibility that she may have been delving too deeply into her studies. Her curiosity, something that could push her beyond the learning limit of any normal person, served as her very downfall this time. Soon, she found herself falling as she opened a rift to someplace beyond reality. The last Eris saw of anything before blacking out were countless eyes staring at her from the void. Eyes that seemed to have a curiosity just as intense for the one who broke the barriers of reality.
  2.
  3. Waking up, Eris looked around and found herself in a plane unlike any other. There were no laws of physics. There were no rules to keep her grounded. All there was, was pure emptiness. Looking around this limbo that she found herself in, all she could see were shapeless masses floating in the nothing. She looked and studied for what seemed like eternity. Perhaps it was eternity. She could no longer tell.
  4.
  5. Eventually, she had nothing else to think of. Nothing to focus on. Her mind constructed an infinite amount of scenarios, but none of them were real. She wanted to think they were real. She wanted something real to focus on. Something real to finally be with. She needed a reality. But her own reality would no longer accept her. She looked outside reality, and the outer reality, our reality, would not allow something like her to exist.
  6.
  7. Her madness reached a peak. She morphed into a mindless beast, and tried to destroy the walls of the realities themselves. Breaking into them, tearing into them with all she had. She had decided that if she would not have a story of her own, that if she would no longer be allowed into the realities that she so craved, that she would break into them and make her own story. She would make the rules, and nobody would stop her.
  8.
  9. And finally, with one last piercing blow, she broke through the veil.
  10.
  11. This is MY story now.
