- DELIRIUM AND DELIRIOUS
- - **Stomping attacks can still lead to unavoidable damage when Delirium uses them.** This most infamously happens with Mom's Feet, though it can also potentially happen with Satan's hooves/Daddy Long Legs' legs/other kinds of leaping/stomp attack. It's not that the attack is too fast (though it can be an issue at times with stuff like hyper Monstro), it's that Delirium hovers over you and spawns a spread of bullets directly on your location, something that cannot be avoided.
- > Delirium can also transform into a different form on top of you while the foot is hovering over you, also resulting in unavoidable contact damage. In general, Delirium being able to teleport right on top of you in certain cases, the boss should always attempt to transform/teleport away from the player.
- - Delirium and Delirious are often inconsistent at properly using their special Delirious spritesheet on segmented bosses, bosses that use two or more entities (like Lokii/Blighted Ovum's baby/Big Horn's hands/Peep losing his eyes/any Champion that splits into two), or bosses that split into smaller forms of itself (like Blastocyst/Fistula). Delirium has gotten much better with this with updates to the point where its mostly fixed with a few exceptions, but the charmed bosses spawned via the Delirious item are still very buggy in this regard.
- > The custom dirt sprites added in the booster only exacerbate the above issue, as Delirious burrowing bosses lack the proper dirt spritesheets for any dirt type, and so they use the normal spritesheets instead. This issue existed in the original mod as well, as the creator was unable to add support for Delirium dirt alt sprites. Alternatively, all of the burrowing boss dirt sprites could simply be Delirium's skin color to be consistent with Mr. Fred's Delirious sprite.
- - Bosses/enemies don't check to update their dirt sprite color when the room graphic has been changed by The Void static/Delirious.
- > This also seems to happen with permanently charmed enemies when changing floors.
- > The room's rock/door graphics also seem to be unaffected, as well as any graphic layers like fog. The Void can seemingly swap these effects at will from room to room so there shouldn't be much issue temporarily swapping these graphics.
- - Under very specific and rare circumstances, the Delirium fight can become softlocked. If you manage to hit Delirium in just the right way with Chaos Card while he's in his Scolex form (Easier to replicate with Blank Card + Car Battery), Delirium's health bar will empty, stay stuck in Scolex's form unable to transform, and become completely invulnerable. It's unknown if this can also occur with other segmented bosses.
- - Mega Satan has a full Delirium spritesheet and Delirium can take that form, but the implementation is entirely broken. The head, left hand, and right hand are treated as separate boss entities and can be transformed into individually. When any of these forms are taken, the sprite appears for a few frames before vanishing, rendering Delirium invisible and firing bullets from a fixed position in the room. The mod "HardMode Major Boss Patterns" (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1232335391) actually fixes this implementation, complete with a custom attack pattern when in that form (same with Hush w/ improved spritesheet: https://i.imgur.com/GOFXh85.png ).
- - Delirium can transform into Mask of Infamy, but only the Heart ever spawns. This looks unintentional as the item Delirious spawns the pair just fine.
- - Delirium can sometimes transform into two of itself, one normal one fake/low HP, at random. It's hard to tell if this is buggy behaviour or intentional, though I'm learning towards bug as the sprites are often buggy when this occurs.
- - Similarly, when Delirium is in its The Lamb form and under half health, it has a tendency to leave The Lamb's body behind after changing form again, the body still able to attack/clutter the room. The Lamb's body entity is also incorrectly treated as an individual form it can transform into.
- > This can also happen with bosses like Death, who at lower health can keep spawning "horses" that don't have the Delirium texture and clutter the room.
- - Slight oddity: Delirium can't transform into the smaller forms of Fistula/Teratoma as intended, but he CAN transform into the smaller forms of Blastocyst individually. Perhaps these kinds of bosses can have custom implementation to split at lower HP similar to how Satan's forms are implemented.
- - Delirium while in War's 2nd form uses a red body sprite instead of matching Delirium's skin color
- - When Gemini is spawned via Delirious, the chain graphic connecting the boss persists through rooms because it's treated as a charmed enemy, which results in an odd floating sprite
- - The Frail's butt is oddly stuck upwards when spawned via Delirious.
- - The Delirious Gemini sprite is missing an eye on one of its frames
- - The Delirious Blue Baby boss sprite lacks the melted mouth design that the Delirious Isaac boss sprite has
- > Here's a simple fixed spritesheet for this inconsistency: https://i.imgur.com/pVNB17Y.png
- - More of a smaller nitpick than anything, but Rag Man's thrown head lacks a Delirious sprite for the entity, seeming as though the head immediately changes color.
- > Upon closer inspection, there appears to also be an unused sprite of a Delirious Ragling in the Rag Man spritesheet as well.
