  1. Soon, the band stops playing and packs up their instruments. Normally, this would be the part of the date where you and Luna part ways. Unfortunately, that little nap earlier has you wide awake now. There isn't much to do in the castle, and it's getting too late to go to town. You try to get Luna's attention as she prances in place. She snaps out of her revelry to see what you want. You ask her what she plans on doing now that the date is over.
  2.
  3. "We planned on attending to the actual royal business we put off to set up our date."
  4.
  5. "Think I could tag along? I ended up falling asleep earlier and now I'm wide awake."
  6.
  7. "But you are still asleep Anonymous."
  8.
  9. "What? I-wait…think you could pinch me?"
  10.
  11. "Of course we can.'
  12.
  13. To your surprise, you feel her pinch your ass.
  14.
  15. "Whoa! Hey! I didn't mean there!"
  16.
  17. "hehehehe, sorry Anonymous, we couldn't resist."
  18.
  19. "Look, can I tag along or not?"
  20.
  21. "Yes, we would love the company."
  22.
  23. You follow Luna through the castle. Interestingly, the two of you don't actually go to the throne room. You stop at a door bearing a symbol of the moon. After that little incident earlier, you start to get a bit nervous. You wonder if the princess took your words about rushing relationships to heart. She opens the door and walks in, and you follow shortly after. Your worry isn't helped when she heads straight for the bed and lays down on it.
  24.
  25. Putting herself in a seductive pose, she says, "Would thou like to join us on the bed?"
  26.
  27. "Uh…remember what I said earlier? about rushing things?"
  28.
  29. She giggles a bit, "Oh calm yourself Anonymous, much as we do not like it, your words were well heeded. We just wanted to have a little fun with you."
  30.
  31. She levitates a large stack of papers, as well as a quill and ink bottle, over to her bed.
  32.
  33. "it is just more comfortable to do the royal paperwork in bed."
  34.
  35. "Oh..but aren't you worried about getting ink on your bed?"
  36.
  37. The look she gives you suggests that what you just said may be the dumbest thing she's heard in….ever.
  38.
  39. "Anonymous, for one, we are royalty, we could have servants in here in an instant to replace not only the sheets and blankets, but the entire mattress as well."
  40.
  41. "Riiiight…hehe…silly me."
  42.
  43. "And two, magic would let us easily put any spilled in right back into the well without any damage done."
  44.
  45. Feeling impossibly stupid now, you decide to just be quiet for a few minutes and take a seat on the edge of the bed.
  46.
  47. As Luna scratches away at the papers, you look around her room. It's surprisingly sparse for the room of a royal. It seems she doesn't have may personal effects. There are no pictures of her with friends, and hardly anything that you could instantly point out as hers. Even though it's sparse, you like the way the room is decorated. The blue colors are nice and easy on the eye. Your attention eventually comes back around to Luna herself.
  48.
  49. You get up and move behind her to try and see what some of these papers are about. Most of them seem to be pretty basic things. Even though running the country is easy to Luna, most of it is still above your head. You start thinking about the paper asking which day of the week would be the official taco day. Every day of the week seems good, why only pick one? While the internal debate rages on, something catches your eye. It seems Luna is dotting all her "i"s with hearts.
  50.
  51. Upon closer inspection, she's even putting something in the tiny hearts. You get closer to try and see what it is. It looks like an almost microscopic "A+L". When Luna notices how close you are, she starts to blush. Suddenly, she seems to remember the hearts. Her horn flashes, and in an instant, the hearts are gone. She doesn't try to push you away or get away from you, she seems to enjoy the proximity.
  52.
  53. "Hey Luna?"
  54.
  55. "Y-yes Anonymous?"
  56.
  57. "Why do you like me so much already? It's only been a week."
  58.
  59. "Anonymous…we have liked you for far longer than that."
  60.
  61. "Really? How long?"
  62.
  63. "Since you first arrived, we have admired you from afar."
  64.
  65. "But why? I'm not a pony."
  66.
  67. "Exactly Anonymous, you are not a pony, and that's what makes you special. You don't belong here, you're an outcast, just like we are."
  68.
  69. "You're not an outcast though Luna, you're a princess."
  70.
  71. "When someone tells you something for long enough, you start to internalize it…"
  72.
  73. "Hey now, don't worry about that anymore. You won't have to deal with her for another thousand years, maybe longer if you feel."
  74.
  75. "Yes…She's the reason we could never approach you…"
  76.
  77. "Yeah, seems like she'd give you a lot of shit if we were to date."
  78.
  79. "Indeed, not to mention that you were.."
  80.
  81. "Obsessed…yeah…"
  82.
  83. "We had no experience in courting, our sister would have made our life miserable, and you were captivated by her…so all we could do for two long years was wait, and hope you would eventually see the truth."
  84.
  85. "I wish it hadn't taken me so long though, you're a great friend."
  86.
  87. That gets her face as red as an apple. "Th- thank you Anonymous."
  88.
  89. She goes back to scratching away at her papers, but noticeably faster now. When you rest a hand on her back, she jumps. She blushes a bit harder, but relaxes a bit. Her writing slows down to a more reasonable pace. Slowly, a smile comes to her face, her eyelids drop a bit, and her writing stops. You can only imagine what she's thinking about, but you decide to leave her to it for just a bit. Soon, that bit has turned into a good ten minutes or so.
  90.
  91. "Luna."
  92.
  93. "…"
  94.
  95. "Luna, you need to get that paperwork done."
  96.
  97. "…"
  98.
  99. "Luna!"
  100.
  101. "Oh yes, just like that, scream our name."
  102.
  103. You barely hear it, but it kinda weirds you out.
  104.
  105. "Ok, that's it."
  106.
  107. You go to her personal bathroom and fill a glass of water. You figure that this should snap her out of it. Once you arrive back at the bed with the drooling moon horse. You almost hate to do this. Though it's kinda creepy having her daydream about you like this while you're right there. You dump the water on the blissfully unaware mare. She freaks out for a minute, but eventually calms down.
  108.
  109. "What did you do that for?"
  110.
  111. "Because you need to get that paperwork done, and you drooling over me like that is a bit creepy."
  112.
  113. "W-we could have been drooling over anyon-er… thing!"
  114.
  115. "Riiiight, anything that happens to be me saying your name?"
  116.
  117. "We…uh…no!"
  118.
  119. Her horn lights up and soon you find yourself in your own room. Shortly after, a note appears in a flash of blue magic. It informs you that, while Luna enjoyed your company tonight, She must bid you goodnight. You're sure it has nothing at all to do with the fact that she was just drooling over you. Once again, a note appears that once again informs you that she was not daydreaming about you. You roll your eyes and put the notes away. You finally feel tired enough to sleep anyways. As you get comfy in bed, you can't help but chuckle at the way she jumped when you dumped that water on her.
  120.
  121. It takes a bit to actually fall asleep, but soon enough, you do. You wake up feeling well rested and ready for the day. As you come out of the bathroom from brushing your teeth, you hear a knock on the door. You open the door to find that pink pony standing there. You try as hard as you can, but you just can't remember her name. There's an awkward silence as neither of you speak for a minute. Finally, you decide to break the silence.
  122.
  123. "Uhh…can I help you?"
  124.
  125. "Oh! Yes, I wanted to talk to your for a bit."
  126.
  127. "Okay…"
  128.
  129. "May I come in?"
  130.
  131. "Sure."
  132.
  133. You step aside to let her enter your room. She takes a seat and motions for you to come sit by her.
  134.
  135. "So what is it that you want to talk about?"
  136.
  137. "I…let's see, how do I put this nicely…I wanted to see what kind of stallion you were."
  138.
  139. "What?"
  140.
  141. "Well, auntie Luna told me that she's never even tried to date before. I just wanted to make sure…that you wouldn't take advantage of her."
  142.
  143. "Whoa there, take advantage of her? We've only been on one date! I even told her that we should take it slow!"
  144.
  145. "Calm down Anon, I'm just trying to look out for my family."
  146.
  147. "Yeah…sorry about that, but you pretty much just came in here to insinuate that I was going to take advantage of my friend."
  148.
  149. "Look, I'm sorry, I could have phrased that better, but I just don't want my aunt's first love to be someone who's going to take advantage of her and leave her feeling like some kind of sex object."
  150.
  151. "Ok, I think we got off on the wrong foot here. How about this, are you doing anything today?"
  152.
  153. "Well…no, auntie had me drop everything to come help her."
  154.
  155. "Great, I'm not doing anything either, what do you say we spend the day together so you can get to know me?"
  156.
  157. "That isn't a bad idea…okay then Anon."
  158.
  159. "Alright, I'll finish getting ready and we can go."
  160.
  161. You pick out some decent clothes and head back into the bathroom to change. You're a little nervous to have still not remembered her name, but you're sure it will be fine. As you come out, you see her waiting patiently for you, having a look around your room. Seeing that you're ready to go, she hops up. As the two of you head out, you think about where you should go. Your growling stomach decides for you, and you decide to go out to eat. She seems fine with the idea and even helps pick a decent place.
  162.
  163. Surprisingly, it's actually a quaint little place. You didn't expect a princess to want to eat in a little diner like it. The entire place seems to feel the same. Waiters and customers alike are all getting up to bow, and everyone seems to offer you their table. With practiced grace, she declines all of them politely. You think about if this is how things will be if you and Luna get together. The castle has great food, but treatment like this will take some getting used to.
  164.
  165. Without even having ordered anything, the waiter brings you one of everything on the menu. The pink one explains that restaurants usually do this kind of thing for royalty. Apparently it's so she can taste everything they have to offer. After which, she would either recommend the eatery or not. She tells you to just dig in to whatever looks tasty. It all just looks like various kinds of salad to you, but whatever. You grab a bit of something at random and taste it.
  166.
  167. To your surprise, it's extremely good. You haven't really had to deal with the ponies vegetarian diet much in your time here. The castle almost always has imported meats for their non herbivore guests. You have to admit though, these ponies sure know how to cook plants. Your companion finishes up tasting the last dish as you finish off whatever it was you had. The entire staff of the eatery gathers around your table, waiting anxiously. She gives them a nod and they all rejoice at her approval.
  168.
  169. The two of you leave and just wander around for a bit. Amazingly, you actually remember her name too. You think that Cadance could even be your second ever friend in Equestria. It doesn't take long for dinner time to roll around. It comes up that you have never been to any of canterlot's fancy eateries before. She finds that unbelievable, and insists that the two of you have to go to one for dinner. The staff have the same reaction as earlier, and one couple is even evicted from their table for the two of you. You feel a bit bad about it, but Cadance insists that it's fine.
  170.
  171. Just like before, the staff sets out one of everything on their menu. The table ends up pretty crowded, but they somehow manage to fit it all. They crank the ambience up to 11 as well, with the band coming right next to your table to play. It reminds you a bit of how your first date with Luna went. This time you do what Cadance does and try a little of everything. You almost start choking as the doors to the restaurant are thrown open with a loud bang. Before you can even see what did it, the air is being squeezed out of you.
  172.
  173. "Oh thank the stars you're safe! You didn't show up to lunch or dinner and we were so worried!"
  174.
  175. "Luna…can't…breathe…" you manage to wheeze out.
  176.
  177. "Auntie, please release Anon, he can't breathe!"
  178.
  179. "Oh! Sorry Anonymou-…Cadance? What are you doing here?"
  180.
  181. "Anonymous and I were spending the day together so we-."
  182.
  183. "WHAT?!"
  184.
  185. You're not sure, but you think you're ears are bleeding now.
  186.
  187. "We were just getting to know each other better."
  188.
  189. "MI AMOR CADENZA! YOU DARE CHEAT ON YOUR HUSBAND?! WITH OUR BELOVED NO LESS!?"
  190.
  191. "No auntie we weren't-."
  192.
  193. "AND YOU!" she says turning to you, "HOW DARE YOU ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE LURED AWAY FROM OUR LIGHT BY THIS-THIS…WHORSE!"
  194.
  195. "Luna please, we weren't on a date!"
  196.
  197. "We will not stand here and listen to your lies."
  198.
  199. She turns to leave without another word…you can tell that this is going to be quite the mess to sort out.
  200.
  201. You turn to Cadance who's sitting there sullenly. She's pretty down about her aunt calling her a whore. You reassure her that's it's just a misunderstanding. She cheers up a bit and agrees. You admit that you don't really know how you're going to fix this. She thinks for a minute, and then offers you some pretty good advice. You think about it, and realize that she's absolutely right. On your way back to the castle, you think of the perfect way to fix things.
  202.
  203. When you get back to the castle, the guards won't even let you in. Luna has ordered you to be banned from the castle until further notice. Cadance steps up to try and finds that she's been banned as well. It looks like you're going to have to sneak in if you're going to fix this. You know you could just use the tunnels, but you don't want Cadance knowing about them. Cadance tells you that she should be able to get you in. In a flash, you're standing in one of the castle's many halls.
  204.
  205. You're sure that the castle staff has been told the same as the guards at the gate. You turn to Cadance…who isn't anywhere to be seen…just great. In a flash of magic, a note appears telling you that it's best you and Cadance split up. Usually you prefer a straight fight to sneaking around, but you doubt you could take the whole royal guard on alone. You make it surprisingly far without getting spotted. You're in the same hallway as Luna's room. There are two guardsmen posted outside her door.
  206.
  207. You look around for something you could use to distract them. The only thing you can find is an expensive looking vase. You pick it up and try to throw it past them. What happens next is like something out of a comedy skit. It hits one of the guards in the side of the head, causing him to stumble. He loses his footing, and on his way to the floor, manages to smack his partner in the head with his spear. Amazingly enough, the whole ordeal managed to knock both of them unconscious. You thank your luck and slip into Luna's room.
  208.
  209. She's laying on her bed, crying.
  210.
  211. "Who sniff who goes there?"
  212.
  213. She doesn't even lift her head to look.
  214.
  215. "it's me Luna."
  216.
  217. "Wouldn't you rather be with your whorse? Just go away."
  218.
  219. "No Luna, because me and Cadance weren't on a date."
  220.
  221. "Yes you were, we saw the restaurant! How could that be anything other than a d-d-daaaaaate?" She's back to sobbing again.
  222.
  223. "Luna, do you want to know what Cadance told me?"
  224.
  225. "N-no! Go away!"
  226.
  227. You walk over to her bed and sit down on it.
  228.
  229. "She told me..."
  230.
  231. You reach over and cup her cheek. Slowly, you bring her face to yours. She's quiet now, clearly confused by what you're doing. You close your eyes and bring your face closer to hers. Your lips pucker, and soon the two of you are kissing. She's stiff at first, but slowly, she starts kissing back. You keep kissing her until you start to feel your lungs burning. You break off the kiss and see that she's blushing so hard that you're certain most of her blood is in her face.
  232.
  233. "That love can grow at any speed."
  234.
  235. "Anonymous…"
  236.
  237. "Now will you please believe me when I say that Cadance and I were not on a date? She just wanted to show me what the fancy restaurants here are like."
  238.
  239. "R-really?"
  240.
  241. "Yes, I told her that I have never eaten in one of Canterlot's fine dining establishments in the entire time I've been here. She told me that I just had to see."
  242.
  243. "That's a pretty flimsy excuse Anon…"
  244.
  245. "Flimsy or not it's the truth…look, don't you have any kind of lie detector spells or something? I'll do whatever I can to prove to you that I'm not lying."
  246.
  247. She sighs, "No, no, it's fine Anonymous we suppose we did jump to conclusions there. Forgive us?'
  248.
  249. "What's there to forgive? It was just a misunderstanding."
  250.
  251. "Thank you."
  252.
  253. Just then, Cadance bursts into the room and slams the door shut behind her. She starts using magic to pile furniture in front of it. Once she finishes, you hear a very angry guard yelling for her to come out peacefully. Apparently, Cadance didn't have the same luck you did in getting through the castle. Somehow, she managed to get most of the on-duty guards pursuing her. It's a good thing you just made up with Luna. Otherwise the two of you would be in a lot of trouble.
  254.
  255. "Why didn't you just teleport yourself in here?"
  256.
  257. "It's…huff not that easy Anon, teleportation can be dangerous."
  258.
  259. "How so?"
  260.
  261. "In a place like this, there's all kinds of things you could end up teleporting inside of, like walls and vases, and in the worst cases, other ponies."
  262.
  263. "Oh…that does sound pretty dangerous."
  264.
  265. "Yeah, so have you two made up yet or not?"
  266.
  267. "Yes…we are sorry for calling you a whorse dear niece." Luna steps in.
  268.
  269. "It's fine auntie, just tell the guards to stand down please."
  270.
  271. "Oh! Of course." she replies.
  272.
  273. Luna moves the furniture from in front of the door and opens it. The guards start to rush in to apprehend you and Cadance. Luna stops them and tells them to stand down. She explains that this was all a big misunderstanding, and that the two of you are no longer banned from the castle. The guards complain about never getting to have any fun, but otherwise comply. Cadance heads off to get a bath, stating that she hopes to never have to run that much ever again. Soon, it's just you and Luna, standing there in a slightly awkward silence.
  274.
  275. It's been a week since that little misunderstanding was resolved. Things have been relatively normal. Luna's newfound overly affectionate attitude being the exception. At mealtimes, she sits as close to you as she possibly can without sitting on your lap. She's been asking if you want to tag along on royal business lately too. You don't really mind the affection either, it's actually kind of nice. The two of you have been growing remarkably close lately.
  276.
  277. You and Cadance have also become decent friends. She can be a bit boring, but she's not that bad over all. You've been trying to plan out where and when your and Luna's next date will be. Unfortunately, trying to top Luna's surprise date has proven quite hard. You've been thinking of asking Cadance to help you out. The only problem is getting some time away from your overly attached mare. You want to try and surprise her, but it'll be hard with her trying to spend all her time with you.
  278.
  279. For the past couple days, you've been trying to come up with an excuse to not spend the day with Luna. You've been running through excuse after excuse, but none of them would hold up. When you can't think of anything, you decide that it might just be best to be upfront about what you want to do. You don't really want Luna to think you're cheating again, you doubt a kiss would fix it this time. You tell Luna that you won't be able to spend the day with her. When she asks why, you inform her that you wanted to plan your next date. She's overjoyed that you want to go on another date so soon.
  280.
  281. "Oh Anonymous we can not wait!"
  282.
  283. "Easy there, I still need to get the whole thing planned out yet."
  284.
  285. "We know, but we just can not believe things are going this well!"
  286.
  287. "Heh, yeah, I'd have never guessed that we'd hit it off this well."
  288.
  289. "There is much to be done, you must go! Go and plan our date!"
  290.
  291. She pushes both you and Cadance out of the dining hall. She insists that the two of you must start planning immediately.
  292.
  293. "So, where do you think I should take Luna for our second date?"
  294.
  295. "Hmm…" Cadance thinks for a minute, "Oh! I know! Let me show you something."
  296.
  297. She leads you all over the castle before reaching a staircase that spirals all the way up a tower. You're pretty sure it takes more than an hour to get to the top. You don't know for sure, but you think you're going to die. Cadance opens a door at the top of the stairs, and a blast of freezing air rushes in. She drags you out onto a balcony. The sight of how high you are nearly makes you faint…or maybe it's just how thin the air up here is. You collapse onto the balcony, half terrified, and half exhausted.
  298.
  299. "Cadance…huff, why are we…up here?"
  300.
  301. "Shiny took me on a date up here one time, isn't the view gorgeous Anon?"
  302.
  303. "No, it's terrifying!"
  304.
  305. "What are you talking about? Look at how far you can see!"
  306.
  307. "Cadance…I can't even breathe up here!"
  308.
  309. "Sigh here, let me help you."
  310.
  311. Her horn glows and all of a sudden, you can breathe like normal. You still feel a little exhausted, but at least you're not going to pass out from lack of oxygen. It does nothing for your fear of extreme heights, but it's a step in the right direction.
  312.
  313. "Now take a look, you can practically see all of Equestria!"
  314.
  315. You pry yourself up from the balcony, and just for a moment, you can see it.
  316.
  317. "Holy shit…it's…amazing!"
  318.
  319. "See? Didn't I tell you it was?"
  320.
  321. "Yeah…Thanks Cadance, it's perfect!"
  322.
  323. "Glad you think so, ready to get the rest taken care of?"
  324.
  325. "That depends, can you teleport us down that staircase?"
  326.
  327. "Oh come now, it's only a bit of cardio Anonymous."
  328.
  329. "Nope! NOT doing that again!"
  330.
  331. "Fine, you big foal."
  332.
  333. In a flash, you're at the bottom of the staircase. A minute later, Cadance comes gliding down the stairs. You ask her what else you should do to help make the date the best you can. She suggests that you bring some simpler foods, that you make yourself. She also suggests bringing a blanket big enough for the two of you to share. You thank her for her help and head off to make the food. Unfortunately, the royal cooks throw a fit any time anyone but them uses their kitchen.
  334.
  335. It takes you hours on end of negotiating, but eventually you convince the cooks to let you make some sandwiches. Cadance walks in to see how things are going. You tell her how long it took to get the cooks to leave, and she asks why you didn't have her help. When you realize that she's a princess, and could have ordered them out immediately, you practically slap yourself. Wanting to get out of that kitchen as quickly as possible, you start making the food as fast as you can. You only make about 4 sandwiches, but you figure that's enough for the two of you. All that's left to do now is find a blanket.
  336.
  337. The castle maids are the only ones who know where the extra blankets are. You learned pretty quickly that the maids are always too busy to even acknowledge anyone who isn't royalty. You don't know if the off duty maids would help you, but you don't actually know where they go when they aren't cleaning. No matter how much you explored the castle, you never found any kind of break room for the maids. You end up just taking the blanket off your own bed to use. You figure that it's better than nothing. You grab your basket of food and your blanket and set off to find Luna.
  338.
  339. You find her in the throne room juggling expensive, and no doubt ancient vases with her magic. She's surprised to see someone else in the room and quickly tries to put them back in their places. You have a small laugh at her surprise and ask if she's ready for that date. Beaming, she says that she's been waiting all day. You walk to the tower with her by your side, or rather, glued to your side. The whole way there, she stays as close to you as she can get without physically merging with you. You appreciate the affection, but it's making it a bit hard to walk without falling over.
  340.
  341. "You know, it's a bit hard to walk with you this close to me, it'd probably just be easier for me to ride on your back instead if you want to be this close."
  342.
  343. She stops dead in her tracks. Her face is as red as a cherry. The next thing you know, your face is stinging. You think you were just slapped…but it happened so fast that you're not quite sure.
  344.
  345. "How dare you Anonymous! To suggest that we would be into such a scandalous thing! And out in the open no less!"
  346.
  347. "What?"
  348.
  349. "And before we are wed! Just what kind of mare do you take us for?!"
  350.
  351. "I didn't mean it like that!"
  352.
  353. "We do not even have a saddle! Did you not take the sexual education in school? Unprotected riding is dangerous!"
  354.
  355. "Look, I'm not from Equestria, ok? I wasn't trying to suggest anything indecent."
  356.
  357. She opens her mouth to say more, but it looks like she's just realized that you're right. It seems like she forgot that you're not actually native to this place. You also don't get out much, so you really didn't have any idea that what you were suggesting might be lewd. She quietly apologizes and meekly starts following you again, this time leaving a bit of space between you. You tell her not to worry about it and pull her close to you to help reassure her. She seems to brighten up a bit, but still stays quiet, likely from her embarrassment. You occasionally catch her eyes losing focus though.
  358.
  359. You'd be willing to bet that she's daydreaming again. She's still following along pretty well, so you're willing to leave her to it. She nearly trips over the stairs when you get to them, but you manage to catch her in time. She snaps out of her imaginings and looks at you confused. You hate to have to do this again, but you tell her that the date will be at the top of the staircase. That does nothing to alleviate her confusion, but she follows you anyways.
  360.
  361. The trip up the stairs isn't quite as bad the second time. To be fair though, you lean on Luna from about the half way point. She doesn't seem to mind it though. Luna seems a bit underwhelmed when the two of you reach the balcony. You reassure her that this will be better than she thinks. You ignore your own terror at the heights and take a seat in the middle of the balcony. You tell her to come join you, and she does.
  362.
  363. You scoot close to her and wrap the blanket around the two of you. She leans against you and you think that she's starting to see the appeal. You open up the basket and offer her a sandwich. She seems hesitant until you tell her that you made them yourself. She admits that she doesn't really like sandwiches. You tell her that you couldn't really think of anything better that you would actually be able to cook. Things go quiet as the two of you eat.
  364.
  365. You both eat slowly, enjoying the quiet, and taking in the view. As it gets later, the two of you lean closer together. Partially to keep warm, but also because you enjoy that closeness. After the last sandwich is gone, the two of you take to cloud watching. Your fear of being up this high has long since faded. Before you know it, hours have gone by. Luna admits that this was a lot more romantic than she thought it would be.
  366.
  367. You agree and suggest that you two do it more often. She rests her head on your shoulder and agrees. After a few minutes, she lifts her head up. The two of you look each other in the eyes for just a second before slowly moving towards each other. Her eyes close and her lips pucker. Soon the two of you are sharing a passionate kiss. It's not as long as your first one, but somehow it feels…better anyways.
  368.
  369. As the two of you break off your kiss, you both decide that it's about time to end the date. Neither of you want to get up, but eventually you will yourself out of your cuddling. As you start down the stairs, Luna stops you. She insists on teleporting you down the stairs. You tell her that she doesn't have to do that. She insists on it one final time before her horn lights up. In a flash, you're back in the castle.
  370.
  371. Your blanket and basket are gone, and you're in a nice comfy bed. You feel that it's pretty early for bed, but then you feel something in the bed with you. You roll over to see Luna trying to snuggle you. As you look around, you notice that you're in her room. You try to get up but Luna pulls you close to her and holds you there. You're a bit weirded out, but it doesn't feel too bad.
  372.
  373. "Luna?"
  374.
  375. She doesn't answer.
  376.
  377. "Luna, hey!"
  378.
  379. She still refuses to answer.
  380.
  381. "LUNA!"
  382.
  383. "What is it Anonymous, we are trying to cuddle."
  384.
  385. "Yeah, that's actually what's wrong here."
  386.
  387. "Why is it wrong Anonymous?" She buries her face into you.
  388.
  389. "We've only been on two dates so far…and it's not late enough to sleep."
  390.
  391. "Oh come now Anonymous, this is most pleasant and you know it."
  392.
  393. "Well…yeah, I guess it is pretty nice."
  394.
  395. "And you did say that love can grow at any speed, so what's it matter if it's only been two dates?"
  396.
  397. "I…guess you're right."
  398.
  399. You settle in and enjoy the feeling of sharing a bed with your mare. You'd like to be the big spoon, but this is still pretty nice. There's always next time to get the better position anyways. Surprisingly, you actually fall asleep quickly. You dream of the future you and Luna might share. You're never really sure if it's the real Luna when you dream like this though. You wake up feeling better than you ever have in the morning.
  400.
  401. You notice that it's still dark out. You don't usually wake up this early, so you're not entirely sure if that's right. Luna is still holding you firm to her. You can't tell if she's still asleep or just pretending. You try to shake her awake, but it's not exactly easy given your current position. Yelling only gets you the odd grunt in response. After a while you start to get the urge to use the bathroom.
  402.
  403. "Luna, hey, let me up, I need to pee."
  404.
  405. She groans, "Just five more minutes."
  406.
  407. "But I have to go now."
  408.
  409. "Just hold it for a bit."
  410.
  411. You try to get up again, "If you don't let me up soon I'm going to piss all over your bed."
  412.
  413. She doesn't even bother responding this time. Instead she just pulls you a bit closer and nuzzles into you. If you didn't have to go so bad, it would have been nice. Luckily for you, one of the staff comes into the room to get Luna up for the day. It turns out that she was supposed to raise the sun a bit ago. You don't stay to hear the rest of their conversation. Instead, you book it to the bathroom.
  414.
  415. You come back to find your bed buddy gone. She was most likely drug away to preform her royal duties. You think that you'll go find Cadance to thank her for helping you figure out what to do for that date. The only problem ends up being that you have no idea where she is or what she does all day. The castle's maids still don't even acknowledge you, so you can't ask anyone where she is either. You realize that you might need to get in better shape as your trip around the castle leaves you exhausted. By the time you actually find the pink princess, you're ready to collapse.
  416.
  417. After an awkward moment of you taking a rest, you thank her. She's happy to hear that her idea worked for you. She seems a bit less happy when you tell her what happened afterward. While she considers you a friend and is happy for you, she's still a bit weirded out by the idea of you sharing a bed with her aunt. You assure her that there was nothing lewd about what happened. She seems a bit skeptical but claims to believe you. Knowing that she has her doubts, you drag her off to find Luna to prove that nothing happened.
  418.
  419. At first she's not happy about being dragged around, but she understood what you were doing. You get a bit worried when she comments on her other aunt not being back yet. You deflect the question by saying that you're not really involved in Equestria's business. Luckily, before she can really start to grill you for answers, you find Luna. Unfortunately, Luna seems to think it funny to joke about what you did last night. Cadance looks like she might faint as Luna describes what you're sure is a fantasy of hers. Luna then explains that she's only joking, though you can tell Cadance doesn't want to deal with her aunt's shenanigans right now. As Cadance takes her leave of you and her aunt, you turn to Luna.
  420.
  421. "Hey, mind if I talk to you somewhere private?"
  422.
  423. "Oh? What about?"
  424.
  425. "I'll tell you when we're there."
  426.
  427. "Alright."
  428.
  429. The two of you head to the most secluded place you can find before you begin.
  430.
  431. "We need to do something about Celestia."
  432.
  433. "What do you mean? We already have."
  434.
  435. "We only made sure she'd be locked up, but ponies will eventually find out she's missing."
  436.
  437. "Excellent point Anonymous…we shall take care of this matter personally, meet us in the throne room after dinner."
  438.
  439. You're not sure what she's planning, but you trust her. It's lonely without her at dinner. You and Cadance talk a bit, but it's a bit awkward otherwise. Suddenly, you hear a loud bang, and a familiar white face is thrown into the dining hall through a wall. Needless to say, you're scared shitless by this. Shortly after Luna leaps into the dinning hall. The two of them fight for a bit and end up in the streets of Canterlot. They stop fighting to face off with a crowd of ponies watching confused.
  440.
  441. The confusion turns to shock as Celestia starts spouting an evil monologue. You have to keep from laughing at her though. She sounds like a cheesy cartoon villain. The ponies seem less amused, some cower in fear, and others run, a few even faint. When she finishes talking, Celestia lunges at Luna again. Before the two can connect, Luna's horn lights up and Celestia is stopped in her tracks. Luna exclaims that for her crimes, Celestia is to be banished to the sun.
  442.
  443. In a blinding flash of light, Celestia disappears. Luna orders the shocked ponies to go about their day. Some just stand there slack-jawed, others shamble away. Cadance is completely floored by this whole thing. You try to get her attention, but she's completely unresponsive. Luna comes over to you and you leave Cadance staring at the spot where her aunt once stood. You wait until the two of you are away from anyone who could over hear before asking her about what just happened.
  444.
  445. "It's quite simply Anonymous, I just faked mine own sister's banishment."
  446.
  447. "How though?"
  448.
  449. "I persuaded a changeling we were keeping in the dungeons since our niece's wedding to play the part of our dear sister."
  450.
  451. "Okay…" You had heard about changelings, but never saw one personally.
  452.
  453. "All we did was teleport it home with a flashy spell meant to look like a banishment spell."
  454.
  455. "That's a neat trick, but are you sure ponies won't know the difference?"
  456.
  457. "Anonymous, it's been one thousand years since the last banishment, we doubt anyone in the crowd could tell."
  458.
  459. "Well that's a relief, looks like we're all set now."
  460.
  461. "Indeed."
  462.
  463. With that done, you go back to check on your friend. Cadance is still just standing there staring. It's getting late, so you decide to bring your friend inside. You still can't get her attention, so you have to carry her in. You're pleasantly surprised to find that she's a lot lighter than she looks. You manage to carry her into the castle under one arm. She's still stiff when you set her down, but you're sure she'll be fine.
