The life saver on duty smiles at him - weird response to a dying man, Taako notes, but /very/ pretty - but makes no attempt to move from his spot on the sand. "I don't think there's any rip currents in the South Bank pools, sir. Just like there were no box jellyfish ten minutes ago."

Taako huffs, fringe wet and dripping over his face. Clearly, this guy is no idiot either. Stupid hot smart dumbshit.

"What's it take for a guy to get a handsome fella like you in the water, then? A fuckin' /shark attack/?! I'll do it!"

The life saver grins, uneven white teeth against dark skin against zinc across his nose. He takes a step closer to the water's edge, and Taako follows. "My shift's up in twenty minutes. If you grab me a Calippo from the ice cream truck in the meantime, maybe I could be swayed into taking a dip."

Taako glowers between wet eyelashes. "Fine. But you're reapplying my sunscreen."
