Leazhito's guide to Bilibili registration and verification. (July 19, 2022)

Quick guide on BiliBili foreign verification. This is for Bilibili, to make a WeChat account just download it from Play Store. Bilibili is an ANDROID ONLY GAME PLATFORM, YOU CAN USE EMULATORS SUCH AS MUMU IF NEEDED.

First of all, if you do not have a BiliBili account, make one on the website (bilibili.com, use help from Google Translate if needed). Bind your email address and your phone number and save necessary details.

Stuff in *BOLDS* is what needs to be replaced with your OWN information. Using fake documents is prohibited and we do NOT endorse it. BiliBili is the biggest game and media platform on China, and the big majority of us here play on it. BiliBili games should only be downloaded from BiliBili sources (website or app). You will need to take REAL pictures of your document and a selfie-like image as well. Trust me, they don't care who you are.

This ONLY applies for NATIONAL IDs and STUDENT'S IDs. To use a Drivers license or a Passport, change points 1, 3 and obviously th. images. Use DeepL or Pleco to find out the new characters (hanzi) needed.


You might be aware of regulations about minors and their access to gaming in China. Foreigners that verify are treated as ADULTS, EVEN IF THEY ARE MINORS. You will NOT have any restrictions.

Quick notes: in point 4, put both your country name in Simplified Chinese and English. In point 5, you can put your phone number, email address, or both. If you put both, separate them with a backslash, like in the template. In point 6, you are supposed to put an in-game ID. If you don't have one, leave that Simplified Chinese sentence untouched, like in the template. If you have one, put it. To get 7 and 8, check the Imgur albums linked at the end. We suggest naming the images with numbers (like 1.jpg).

Finally, before sending the email ask an informed user to check the email for you. Remember to censor important information!
