  1. Name: Cinder Fabrie
  2. Gender: F
  3. Race: Kirin
  4. Class: Mystic (Mage/Monk)
  5. Combat Talent: [Goodness Gracious, Great Balls of Fire] Cinder becomes a spinning ball of flame, rolling herself through multiple enemies at once. Treat attacks made by Tumble as Cleave {attack multiple targets within range that are close to each other. Every additional target increases the chance of a critical miss}. +1 to Tumble.
  6. Noncombat Talent: [We Didn't Start The Fire] Cinder doesn't just have a way with fire. She doesn't just understand fire. She IS fire. She is able trace the source of any fire or smoke to its source (wildfires, candles, hearths, arsons) and is able to either stoke or smolder any flames at will, as long as she can see it. She is also immune to the effects of fire and can walk through it unscathed.
  7. Hit/Wounds: 5/5
  8. Alignment: Neutral Good
  9.
  10. Skills:
  11.
  12. (Free Racial) Tempered Rage: passive; A heated argument becomes literal when a Kirin gets angry. Whenever your temperament boils over in a discussion, or any situation, you transform into a Nirik, a creature of pure fire, and gain +1 to all Intimidation, Fear, or other aggressive non-skill social actions. In Combat this form triggers after you are helpless for 3 turns in a row or fall helpless immediately after recovering from a previous helpless state. This form makes your recovery roll Instant with DC3, allowing you to act immediately on success with a +2 to your other skill that turn. In combat this form lasts until you recover. Outside of combat it lasts until you calm down.
  13.
  14. (Free Racial) Kirin Horn: passive; A kirin’s horn counts as a basic catalyst for the purposes of spellcasting.
  15.
  16. (Racial) Burning Passion: spell; In every Kirin lies the burning intensity of their emotion. You can control these flames without losing yourself in anger, lighting your hooves or other focused spots on your body. This fire acts as normal fire but does not hurt you, and it can be used to light objects on fire or it can be laid on the ground in a trail or controlled path. If used to harm a foe, it can only do 1 Hit of damage at most unless they are weak to fire in which case they the suffer full damage the roll would cause.
  17.
  18. (Free Multiclass) Arcane Arms: passive: Gain an Elementalist effect. You can Apply Elementalist to all your skills regardless of tag.
  19.
  20. (Class skills)
  21. Elementalist: passive; Fire can be applied to all other spells you know, adding their effect to the spell. This skill can be taken multiple times to gain or create additional elements. [Fire: A target rendered helpless by a fire attack has a reduced chance of recovering (DC +1), and especially flammable targets take ongoing wounds. Fire spells can be used to warm and burn objects and the environment.]
  22.
  23. Tumble: Recharge 1; Roll past an enemy, striking them. You may use this ability from helplessness. A successful Tumble from helplessness brings you to your feet.
  24.
  25. Storm Bolt: recharge 3, spell, ranged; You attack a single target multiple times with a single roll, increasing your chance to crit fail for each additional attack (3- for 3 attacks, 5- for 5 attacks, etc) up to a maximum of 9 regardless of other modifiers.
  26.

  39.
  40. Traits:
  41.
  42. Cinder is the daughter of a smith, and grew up around weapons, forges and anvils. She has a good knowledge of the craftsmanship of blades, but doesn't use one herself.
  43.
  44. Cinder cannot swim. She is terrified of water deeper than chest-height, and if submerged while afraid, instantly transforms to Nirik form, boiling the water around her and releasing huge clouds of steam.
  45.
  46. Kirins have a constant internal struggle to control their passion, and for Cinder, strong emotions are often manifested through small flames flickering all around her. When she loses complete control, her nirik form takes over.
  47.
  48. Cinder has lost the life of her choosing through misfortune and the evil of ponydom, and now follows a mercenary's path without much hope for a better future. She tries to protect the innocent whenever feasible, but above all she is just trying to survive.
  49.
  50. Appearance:
  51. Cinder is a deep crimson with a flash of flame colored hair. Her horn is almost black, two-pronged and curves slightly backwards. Her eyes are bright blue, which darken to black with her mood as she approaches Nirik form. She wears a dark-colored, light leather garb designed to offer some protection without hindering movement. She is quite fluffy, her hair almost floating like a flame.
  52.
  53. In Nirik form, Cinder's body is completely covered in dark flames. Her eyes shine like headlights, a bright white circle like the sun itself centered in black as deep as the void. She is unable (or unwilling?) to smother the fires that are created when anything comes in contact with her body in Nirik form. Whereas normally the cinders of her hoofprints smother naturally within seconds, everything she touches comes alight, and she is unable to extinguish them with her magic until she reverts back to Kirin form.
  54.
  55. BG:
  56.
  57. [Active Game: https://mlpg.co/q/res/705968+50.html The Cleansing by RustRivet]
  58.
  59. Cinder takes on a job to accompany a paladin, the Lady [Guiding Moonlight], to help in the fight against the dark magic corrupting the lands around Moonhollow. She has worked with one particular member of the 5 member team before: a pegasus named [Solar Flair], who, in a previous mission, saved her in combat.
  60. There is an accident/ambush en route to Moonhollow and the original party becomes separated. Cinder regains consciousness in the wilderness and, after wandering for hours, meets up with a different party, coincidentally including [Solar Flair]. She decides to join them on their mission to find and facilitate the return of the daughter of a smith, a minotaur named [Anna]. The party splits up. In a cave, [Cinder, Rainy, and Platinum] encounter [Anna]. They meet up with the rest of the party [Voleurz, Dalliance, Jesse, Soft, and Solar] and proceed through the forest back towards civilization. On the way, they are attacked by a blighted creature that uses a mare at the end of her long tail much like an angler fish uses a lure, who proceeds to hypnotize [Solar Flair]. After the creature is defeated, [Solar] remains in a comatose state. Cinder takes him as her personal burden.
  61. The party returns to Moonhollow. [Anna] is reunited with her father. Cinder splits with the party, as she seeks out medical attention for [Solar]. [Platinum, Voleurz, Dalliance, Jesse, Soft, and Rainy] convene at a tavern, Henke's Familiar.
  62. Cinder deposits [Solar] in the church under the care of a strange doctor [Caldwell]. She establishes a contact with [Clear Waters], a young devotee. Cinder next goes to the guildhall, where she meets [Zeke, Tobias, Leonhard, Awethu, and Amandla]. Afterwards, she heads to Henke's Familiar, where she meets the rest of the party and spends the night.
  63. In the morning she heads off toward the crash site with [Jesse, Platinum, and Soft]. They instead come across deep hoofprints and a trail of dead Blighted, and decide to follow the trail. It leads them to a broken watchtower in a marsh, where the group finds and supposedly rescues [Guiding Moonlight] from blighted bandits only to be attacked by her afterwards. Things are looking grim for the party when [Rainy, Voleurz, and Dalliance] arrive and help turn the tide of combat. Together, they subdue and heal [Guiding Moonlight], leading her back to Moonhollow with them. [Moonlight] heads to [Caldwell's] clinic (conveniently giving payment) while [Cinder] heads first to the guildhall, then the tavern. Almost everyone is missing from the town. [Cinder] starts to head to the shops when she is intercepted by [SoftTalon]. Together they buy supplies and reconvene with [Platinum, Voleurz, Jesse, Rainy, Dalliance] and decide to visit [Lord Harroway] at his manor. Upon doing so, they learn little about the missing townsfolk.
