RANK-STRUCTURE

Each officer within the Civil Protection is categorized by rank, ranging from a numerical identifier of 00 to 100, 100 being Rank Leader, they ascend up in 10 points by each rank and are only differentiated by the officer's seniority, efficiency and the equipment at their disposal, emphasizing the 'pseudo' in pseudo ranking system, and while the ranks differentiate units only by the points mentioned above, to Dispatch the ranking system displays the trust an officer is entitled to, and often than not, unless contradicted by solid evidence, Dispatch will prefer a higher ranked officer's statement over his lower ranked colleagues.

While higher ranking officers, excluding Rank Leaders and assigned Protection Team leaders, hold no authority over their peers it is advised that lower ranking officers adhere to the orders or requests given to them by their superiors as they have more extensive experience and understanding of the Civil Protection's inner workings alongside heightened situational awareness.


00% Rank Points | Preliminary
The initiation rank into Civil Protection; categorized as the runt of the litter. Officers of this rank are advised to confine themselves in socio-stable locations as to not risk exposing themselves to situations which they are, currently, ill-equipped to handle; their assortment, and limited equipment consisting of that of the basics required for their day-to-day operations. Additionally, these officers are prohibited from loitering, patrolling in designated non-patrol regions and engaging in any operation requiring TAG (Tactical Assault Gear) equipment; unconforming to the aforementioned is likely, and will be expected to result in said officer’s deservicement.

Typically, they are entrusted with assignments in controlled sections of the index, and are expected to act as a means of auxiliary with examples such as restricting access to locations and searching suspects while additionally routinely interlocking with high-ranking officers during patrol commission, block inspections, and similar undertakings.

10% Rank Points | 10 Sterilization Credits
A minor rank ascension above the preliminary one, these officers have accumulated an almost marginal amount of experience albeit enough to differentiate them from their recruit counterpart although strictly insignificant overall. However, extensive surveillance is to be expected from Dispatch, and officers of this rank are advised to stick within the bounds of socio-stable locations in the index. Tactical equipment is not yet distributed in conjunction to the ascension with officers remaining only with access to their prior rank’s assortment.

20% Rank Points | 10 Sterilization Credits
At this point, the officer in question is now entrusted with a standard-issue Heckler & Koch USP-Match however only permitted to use in critical situations ONLY at the discretion of a Rank Leader or Dispatch due to inactive TAG status (This means un-equipped, carrying it around as if you were a TAG unit will result in an instant de-rank where the officer has to dispose of their service pistol immediately.) Unable to engage in the aforementioned TAG required operations; citing examples such as a significant decrease in socio-stability and any form of aggravated assault on protection-team members. Any lacking in terms of proficiency with the firearm is to be expected due to having received no training upon rank ascension and officers are suggested to seek, and take into account any advice from high-ranking cohorts within the delegation in preparation for tactical assignments via the following rank upgrade.

Upon ascension, the officer is to receive a mandatory memory-replacement in order to progress any further in which the officer’s subconscious state of mind is subjected to a plethora of propaganda in turn results in their loyalty bolstering to the system.

30% Rank Points | 15 Sterilization Credits
Following the above-mentioned, this progression mark is to be considered a significant milestone in terms of the officer’s proficiency, a satisfactory amount of knowledge in the field has been garnered and as a result are now charged with the compulsory engagement of any tactical operations and assignments (sweeping non-patrol regions, deserviced area and injection into storm system when deemed necessary). Additionally, officers of this rank are granted an increase in their anti-fatigue ration supplements for longer periods of on-duty status.

40% Rank Points | 15 Sterilization Credits
Progression to the forty percent rank-points mark will symbolize an officer's overall competence in the field and as a result are granted more leeway in terms of their ability to perform and act autonomously when required. Each and every officer ascending to forty percent rank-points is subjected to mandatory memory-replacements in order to achieve said rank, and to ultimately maintain their loyalty as a whole.

50% Rank Points | 20 Sterilization Credits
Upgrading to this progression mark allows officers authorization to utilize a standard-issue Heckler & Koch MP5-Kurz and an arsenal of non-lethal grenades for usage at their own discretion for high-risk situations requiring it such as tactical operations that may include close-range combat and in at times of critical declines in socio-stability, etc. By this point, the officer in question is now given more leniency in conjunction to the above rank in regards to how they function, and leniency is provided for them to act autonomously when appropriate alongside being well-equipped to handle situations of a much more demanding and brutal-esque nature.

60% Rank Points | 25 Sterilization Credits
No significant rewards are attributed to officers of this rank. Ascension to sixty percent rank-points grants the officer a substantial increase in their anti-fatigue supplements in order to revitalize them for lengthened periods daily. To further manage their duties and to solidify the officer’s performance they are required to undergo through multiple nonnegotiable memory-replacement procedures where their loyalty is once again subconsciously reinforced.

70% Rank Points | 25 Sterilization Credits
Officers who reach the seventy percent progression mark will be a symbol of terror and brutality. They are veteran officers with little remorse or care for the well being of the civil populace. At this point, they are completely brainwashed to a point of unrecognizable performance and behavior, expected to fulfill critical tasks in the absence of more senior personnel, unable to refuse or hesitate directives. In addition to this, officers will be rewarded with the permission to use the H&K MP7-PDW in the same situations listed previously.

80% Rank Points | 30 Sterilization Credits
Functionaries ascending to the eighty percent progression mark will not receive any distinguished equipment, however, their dedication and seniority will subsequently result in the functionary acting under their own jurisdiction. Their loyalty is at this point bordering absolute and irreversible. The privilege is granted for them to acting almost autonomously at their discretion to fulfill assigned duties, providing they conduct themselves within the bounds of protocol.

90% Rank Points | 35 Sterilization Credits
The ninety percent progression mark is the final rank issued to a delegate before being eligible for the Rank Leader position. Most functionaries will not even reach this rank, and when they do it is most likely the percentage mark where they will inevitably stop progressing altogether due to the extreme scrutiny the Rank Leader position entitles, only one out of a hundred will surpass this rank. These officers will be forced to undergo yet another memory replacement to ensure that the functionary in question remains unquestionably loyal to their employers.

Rank Leader | 50 Sterilization Credits
The highest ranking officer out of the entire Civil Protection force and presumably the best it has to offer, entrusted to lead their fellow officers in Protection Teams, assignments, sweeps or anything else issued by Dispatch, albeit these officers are also entrusted to execute certain sweeps and activities without Dispatch's authorization.
These units exhibit blind loyalty to the Union and absolute flawless efficiency while performing their roles considering they have been enrolled into the Civil Protection for an extended period of time and usually have a flawless service record.

Subjected to heavy memory replacement to absolutely brainwash them into undying loyalty while being entitled to receive heavier doses of anti-fatigue rations to allow them to function despite the exhausting and intensive nature of the role.
Alongside the aforementioned these Rank Leaders are assigned with overseeing logistics before a specific assignment, distributing assignment specific gear to their fellow officers to allow them to execute it properly and to further the rank leader's efficiency compared to other officers they are automatically outfitted with an H&K USP-Tactical, suppressor included. Because of this, Rank Leaders will often be seen as the perfect candidates to be inducted into the Transhuman Arm.
