Ryoma: Oh, Caeldori. Are you training?

Caeldori: Hello, Father! Yes, that's right.

Caeldori: I thought that my grip on my naginata felt wrong in that last battle so I decided to see if I could do something about it!

Ryoma: You certainly are diligent, Caeldori. Do you want to spar for a while?

Caeldori: Of course, Father! To train with you would be an honor!

Ryoma: It would be an honor to train with your father?

Caeldori: An honor to train with the King of Hoshido!

Ryoma: Caeldori, though I might be King, with my family I am just Ryoma.

Caeldori: Of course, father. But even during downtime you surely have duties to attend to! To take the time off from them for me is truly a blessing.

Ryoma: It's not any trouble to spend time with my family, Caeldori. Downtime should be spent doing something relaxing or enjoyable, after all.

Caeldori: Hm...

Ryoma: Is something the matter?

Caeldori: ...No, it's nothing. Shall we begin, Father?

Ryoma: Of course. On your guard!

Ryoma: Caeldori! Training today as well?

Caeldori: Of course! I have to make sure I stay in top form!

Ryoma: I can't help but notice you're here an awful lot. What do you do outside of training?

Caeldori: Well, I run supplies to the healers! I also gather food for the mess hall, and catalogue the inventory in the convoy!

Ryoma: ...It that so?

Caeldori: Corrin said that my new system singlehandedly made keeping the convoy organized a breeze! But I would still rather do it myself given the chance.

Ryoma: Caeldori-

Caeldori: I also keep a detailed record of the flora found around the area, and what it can be used for!

Ryoma: Caeldori, don't you ever relax?

Caeldori: Hm? Didn't I just tell you what I do to relax?

Ryoma: No, Caeldori. You just described an incredible amount of work.

Caeldori: Oh. Then... What would you consider relaxing, Father?

Ryoma: Well, I like to read poetry. Your father is quite good at it, you know. Or I like to play shogi with Azura.

Caeldori: I also enjoy shogi! I even devised a complex strategy that I believe is fool-proof in any situation!

Ryoma: Is that so? I'd love to see this strategy in action! Perhaps you and I can play a match or two soon.

Caeldori: I could never refuse an invitation from you, Father!

Ryoma: You weren't kidding when you said this was a fearsome strategy...

Caeldori: Are you ready to resign, Father?

Ryoma: Not so fast, daughter of mine. Did your strategy prepare for this?

Caeldori: H-how did you...

Ryoma: You forget, I've been playing shogi for many years longer than you have.

Caeldori: If I move my King... Then maybe...

Ryoma: Are you ready to resign?

Caeldori: Never! I will prevail!

Ryoma: As you wish. But I can't see how continuing could change your fate- What?!

Caeldori: Aha! Checkmate, Father!

Ryoma: Fantastic job, Caeldori. I never expected you to choose such a risky move.

Caeldori: It was do or die! I'm just glad I thought of it at all!

Ryoma: Did you have fun?

Caeldori: I did! Truly, I didn't believe I could sit still for so long, when I knew there was so much to be done!

Ryoma: I'm glad, Caeldori. Relaxation is important to maintaining balance in our lives. I know you enjoy your work, but endlessly toiling will only burn you out.

Caeldori: ...Maybe I have been a little tense lately.

Ryoma: And now?

Caeldori: Now it feels like all of my duties are a world away.

Ryoma: Good. There's nothing wrong with taking some time to yourself, Caeldori. I know I would be happy to play shogi with you any time.

Caeldori: ...Perhaps we could make it a weekly endeavor, Father?

Ryoma: Of course, Caeldori.
