I get on a train thats bound for Monterey.
And I'm gone.

No more running. No more lying.
No more wasting my existence away...

Just a sea so wide and pretty, it just beckons me to stay...
Dreams come true. Yeah they do. In Monterey...

Where does it say I have to live stuck here?
Where does it say a girl can't catch a break?
Why should you only take what you're given?
Why should you spend your whole life living trapped without a future...
Forever at this age... watching your life be tugged by someone's strings...
If the life don't seem to suit you, how about a change of scene?
