- What is your character's name, age, birthdate (if known) and place of residence?
- Named Raven, has no surname. 18 years old, October 24th, Port Alberni, BC.
- Were their parents kinfolk or garou? Did they know about werewolves before their first change?
- Both Garou, unfortunately. Was raised within her home sept (which was not Skybound Cedar), and being born in Crinos form, it's been her whole life.
- If yes, how much? If no, did they experience any other odd or supernatural things before?
- See above.
- How did their Rage manifest before their first change, were people wary of them, did they have a temper, etc?
- People are always wary of a metis. Even then, she did her best to channel it into a desire to prove herself, as well as, despite the way she was treated, a defensiveness for her people and the local environment. Didn't always succeed, and every lash-out was seen as yet another example of impurity.
- What triggered their first change, and where?
- Being a Theurge, Raven always had a vague awareness of the spirit world. For most of her life, it was just background noise. But one day, the elders began to panic: their sept rest by the ocean, and they'd received word from cousins to the north that a great earthquake had struck. As they gathered the Garou to evacuate from a possible tsunami, Raven gazed out into the ocean, her curiosity getting the better of her. The Umbra shuddered, and for a moment it grabbed a hold of her, demanding her attention. The spiritual mark of the wave, the wall of death just under the surface of the water turned its face, staring her in the eyes as it passed, whispering to her that it would spare them for now but at any time it could crush everything she knew in its jaws. The raw terror of the moment was enough to force her Change, and though the elders were relieved to know they were safe, it took some time to calm her down. She's moved on and no longer has a crippling fear of the ocean, but is still terrified of tsunamis and isn't fond of dealing with ocean spirits.
- How do they feel about what they know after the change?
- Expectations for a metis are kind of rough. Shortly after she changed and underwent her Rite of Passage to be accepted in the Wendigo tribe, she was promptly shunted off. The local Wendigo begrudgingly lend support to the other Garou tribes in the area, but the work usually falls to those they see as "less valuable" to their central caerns. She still feels a deep loyalty to them, but there's resentment there as well.
