地獄の底より帰った男よ!」

この世の最後の夜明けを見るためにな!」

Episode 1
Threat! Shin Dragon: God or Devil?

(Scene begins on the map screen of the area around the Saotome Institute.)

「さあ、世界最後の夜明けに懺悔せよ!
ガハハハハハハハ!」
Dr. Saotome: Come! Confess your sins to the last dawn of the world! Gahahahahahah!

(Getter Robo appears.)

竜馬
「うるせえ、ジジイッ!」
Ryoma: Can it, old man!

早乙女博士
「!? [ゲッターロボ]…!」
Dr. Saotome: !? [Getter Robo]...!?

早乙女博士
「貴様、竜馬…流竜馬か!」
Dr. Saotome: It’s you, Ryoma… Ryoma Nagare!

竜馬
「久しぶりだな、ジジイ!」
Ryoma: Long time no see, old man!

竜馬
「どうやって生き返ったかは知らねえが、
今度こそ引導を渡してやるぜ!」
Ryoma: I don’t know how you managed to crawl out of hell, but I’ll be sending you RIGHT BACK!

早乙女博士
「フン、ここはよく来たと褒めておこうか。
この裏切り者が!」
Dr. Saotome: Hmph, you did well to make it here. For a filthy traitor, that is!

竜馬
「黙れ!
てめえがゲッター線を利用して何を企んでたか、
俺は忘れちゃいねえ!」
Ryoma: Shaddup! I haven’t forgotten what you were plotting to do with Getter Rays!

竜馬
「てめえはどのみち死ななきゃならねえんだ!
だったら、今度こそこの俺の手で･･・!」
Ryoma: And besides, you’ve gotta die anyway! So this time, I’ll just kill you MYSELF!

(Ryoma fires a Getter Beam on the Institute. Ineffective.)

「さすがは元ゲッターリーダー。
伊達じゃない･・・だが!」
Dr. Saotome: I see there’s a reason you used to be the leader of the Getter Team... However!

(Getter Dragons appear around the lab.)

竜馬
「なに…!?」
Ryoma: What...!?

(The Getter Dragons surround and all attack Ryoma.)

竜馬
「ぐわあああああああっ!」
Ryoma: Aaaaaaaagh!

早乙女博士
「フフフ、いかがかな?
我がゲッター軍団の威力は!」
Dr. Saotome: Hahaha! So? How do you like the might of my Getter Army?

早乙女博士
「トドメだ、死ねいッ!」
Dr. Saotome: Now for the finishing blow. Die!

(The map begins to shake.)

「! な, なんだ…!?」
Dr. Saotome: ! Wh-What is happening...!?

早乙女博士
「地震・・・いや、違う!
この揺れは…まさか!?」
Dr. Saotome: An earthquake...? No, it’s different! This shaking... It can’t be!

(Didarion suddenly appears.)

Didarion: ...

「!? あ、あれは…!」
Dr. Saotome: !? Th-That’s...!

竜馬
「な、なんだ…あいつは…!?」
Ryoma: Wh-Who is...this guy...!?

ディーダリオン

Didarion: Ugh... Uggggh...

ディーダリオン
「こ…ここは…どこだ?」
Didarion: Where... Where am I?

ディーダリオン
「あの時…俺は何を…?」
Didarion: Before... What was I...?

竜馬
「おい、てめえは何者なんだ!?
答えやがれ!」
Ryoma: Hey, who the heck are you!? Answer me!

ディーダリオン
(人間の・・・声・・・。
あのマシンは…)
Didarion: (A human’s...voice... That machine is...)

ディーダリオン
「うっ!」
Didarion: Ugh!

(There’s a flash on the screen.)

「善なる心を持つ人間を…生命を守れ…」
???: You must protect those with a righteous heart... You must protect life...

???: That is your mission...

Didarion: Ugh... Ugggh...!

「なんだ、誰も乗ってねえのか…!?」
Ryoma: Is there even anyone inside that thing…?!

竜馬
「だが、てめえも世界に災いをもたらそうってんなら、
ここでジジイもろともぶっ倒してやる!」
Ryoma: Hey, you in there! If you’re trying to destroy the world too, I’m gonna crush you alongside that old fart!

「(俺の…使命…)」
Didarion: (My...mission...)

ディーダリオン
「(俺は…俺は!)」
Didarion: (I... I!)

(Didarion destroys two of the Getter Dragons surrounding Ryoma.)

竜馬
「なにっ!?」
Ryoma: What!?

ディーダリオン
「………」
Didarion: ...

竜馬
「あいつ、奴らとやり合おうってのか!
どこのどいつだかしらねえが、助かるぜ!」
Ryoma: So he’s not on their side, huh? Still no idea who it is, but I’ll take the help!

竜馬
「ジジイ、そこを動くなよ!」
Ryoma: Old man! Stay right where you are!

(Ryoma charges into the Institute.)

ディーダリオン
「俺の戦うべき相手は…!」
Didarion: The enemy that I must fight...!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(If Didarion battles an enemy, this line occurs.)

「俺の使命は…!」
Didarion: My mission is...!

(Battle 1 ends, next scene begins.)

「あのロボットは、いったい..…
空間転移を行ったとでも言うのか?」
Chief Oka: What on earth is that robot...? Did it just teleport there?

コーウェン
「それどころではないかもしれませんな」
Cowen: It might have done more than just that.

スティンガー
「う、うん!
あの反応、単なる空間転移ではないよね!」
Stinger: Yes, indeed! Based on the energy reaction, that was no simple teleportation!

「では、なんなのです?」
Chief Oka: Then, what was it?

ゲッター線の導きか、あるいは…」

つまり、あれは異世界から現れたと…!?」

「これから人類が迎えるものこそ、
明日という名の希望なのか…」
Cowen: Will mankind head towards the hope called “tomorrow”?

「はたまた、破壊という名の絶望なのか!」
Stinger: Or towards the despair called “destruction”?

コーウェン
「フフフ、それは神のみぞ知る…!」
Cowen: Hmhmhm, surely only God knows the answer.

これこそがワシらゲッター線に関わった者全員が
夢にまで見たもの!」
Dr. Saotome: Listen well! This is what everyone who was involved in the research of Getter Rays dreamed of!

「背負わねばならぬ宿命そのもの!
そして、もし…もしワシがここをどいてみろ!」
Dr. Saotome: We must carry fate itself on our shoulders! If I were to take a step back here...

「その時こそ、世界は最後を迎えるのだぞ!」
Dr. Saotome: That is when the world would end!

いいか、俺はな…世界やそのカプセルが
どうなろうと知ったこっちゃねえんだ!」
Ryoma: Shut up! I’ve heard enough... I don’t know a damn thing about the world or that capsule.

(There’s been a capsule in the background this whole time.)

「ただ、てめえの勝手で
俺たち仲間をバラバラにした
あんたを殺せれば…!」
Ryoma: I just want to kill you for utterly tearing our team apart...!

???: You mustn’t...

竜馬
「!?」
Ryoma: !?

「それはいけない…何故なら…」
???: You absolutely mustn’t... Because...

「こ, この声は…!?」
Ryoma: T-This voice...!?

「フフフ…目覚めたか、號よ」
Dr. Saotome: Hmhmhm... So you finally woke up, Go.

竜馬
「號だと…!?」
Ryoma: Go!?

早乙女博士
「そう、全てはあの日・･・
ミチルが死んだ、あの日から始まったのだ」
Dr. Saotome: On that day... The day Michiru died. That is the day everything began.

早乙女博士
「あの時、ワシは決意した!
これがゲッター線に関わる者の宿命ならば、
たとえ神の領域に触れることさえ恐れはせぬと!」
Dr. Saotome: At that time, I had come to a decision! If it is the fate of those who are involved with Getter Rays, then I won’t hesitate, even to invade the territory of God!

(Didarion fights and destroys all the enemies, ending Battle 2.)

(The Getter Dragons surround the Institute and combine with it, turning it into a giant Shin Dragon.)

(Shin Dragon attacks Didarion.)

「ぐああああっ…!」
Didarion: Guaaaaaagh!

(Ryoma appears from Shin Dragon.)

「おい、お前! 大丈夫か!?」
Ryoma: Hey, you! You alright!?

ディーダリオン

Didarion: ...

「まさか、真ドラゴンが・･・!?
だが、まだ號は完全ではない!」
Dr. Saotome: Impossible, Shin Dragon is...!? But Go is not perfect yet!

竜馬
「真ドラゴンだと!?
ジジイ、こりゃあいったいどういうことだ!」
Ryoma: Shin Dragon!? Old man, what the hell is going on!?

龍馬
「なんでドラゴンどもが合体する!?
あの化け物はなんなんだ!?」
Ryoma: Why are the Dragons combining?! What is that monster?!

早乙女博士
「いかんぞ、早すぎる!
ゲッター線はまだ不十分だ!
このままでは…!」
Dr. Saotome: Blast, it’s too soon! The Getter Rays are insufficient! In this state it...!

(Benkei calls in via radio.)

弁慶
「竜馬、聞こえるか!?
俺だ、弁慶だ!」
Benkei: Ryoma, can you hear me! It’s me, Benkei!

竜馬
「弁慶!? お前か!」
Ryoma: Benkei?! Is that you?!

弁慶
「挨拶はいい、それより聞け!」
Benkei: Save the greetings for later and listen!

弁慶
「今な、早乙女研究所へ向けて
重陽子ミサイルが発射された!」
Benkei: Just now, a deuteron missile was fired at the Saotome Institute!

竜馬
「なんだと!?」
Ryoma: What did you say!?

早乙女博士
「馬鹿な･・・!
そんな代物をここへ落としてみろ!
今の真ドラゴンに火をつけるようなものだ!」
Dr. Saotome: Those fools! Dropping such a thing here will make Shin Dragon even more difficult to control!

竜馬

Ryoma: Grr...!

(Ryoma flies next to the Shin Dragon and holds it in place.)

弁慶
「竜馬! 何をする気だ!?」
Benkei: Ryoma! What are planning to do!?

竜馬
「ミサイルの狙いはこの化け物なんだろ!?
だったら、こいつもろとも…!」
Ryoma: The missile’s aiming at that monster, right?! Then I’ll just have to stick around!

「死ぬ気か!?
よせ! やめるんだ、竜馬!」
Benkei: Are you trying to die!? No! You have to stop, Ryoma!

竜馬
「へっ、どうせここへ来た時から
生命なんざ捨ててるんだ!」
Ryoma: Heh. I was ready to die the moment I came here!

(Didarion follows Ryoma and helps.)

「その真ドラゴンは
ゲッター線の結晶のような物だ!」
Dr. Saotome: Shin Dragon is basically crystallized Getter Rays!

「それが重陽子と融合爆発すれば、
ゲッター線の異常加速を促し・・・」
Dr. Saotome: If Getter Rays were to combine with deuteron, an explosion would cause them to accelerate at an abnormal rate, and--
