The main purpose for creating this Group was simple and straight-forward: Whenever Facebook disables Eckard's current account - and we never know if and when this will happen again -, this site here, regrouping most of his friends in one place, provides an efficient tool to reconnect in an easy way. Each time when they disabled the personal profile before (this has so far happened 8 times), they hardly ever deleted any of the Pages and Groups administered by him (at least not at the same time!), so they will most probably not do it the next time either.

  12. Com666's aim is to add all of Eckard's friends to this Group, and keep things up-to-date as best as possible. In addition, new members may also arrive via our public sites by sending a request to join the Group. Please modify 'Notifications' settings (top right of screen) for your own account according to your personal preferences. If you do not wish to be a member here, you will of course remain free to leave whenever you decide to do so. In this case, admins cannot add you back on their own (this is how Facebook works), but you may rejoin this Group again on your own request. Once you have left, it will of course be somewhat more difficult for you to reconnect with him on Facebook in case he is kicked off again, but it won't of course be impossible. Please also note that you cannot be a member of this Group if you have already joined 300 other groups (limit set by Facebook). If you still want to join, you must leave some other group(s) in advance.

Shortly after creating this Group, it has established itself as a lively discussion forum for many current political issues, while also sharing recent technical developments and detailed advice for cyber activists, mainly attached but not limited to the 'Anonymous' movement, at the same time. Having gained more than 666 members in less than 6 weeks (as of 02nd June 2011), we are - hahaha! - now more than twice as many as those members of the (in)famous 'Committee of 300' --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Committee_of_300! Our Group is the place for personal debate and discussion about current topics of all kind, including personal stories and questions, whereas the public Page --> http://www.facebook.com/Com666 normally concentrates on important news items and all public aspects of our activities, e.g. newly created FB Pages and other media meant for a general audience.

Be assured that our name has been chosen on purpose, even if you may be scared off by it. Please note that selected items of our news output, mainly in Chinese and some English, are now also available on China's most popular micro-blogging service Sina Weibo --> http://weibo.com/u/3873732801. This can also be accessed from anywhere else in the world. You are invited to sign up for an own account if you don't have one already, else you won't be able to see our content. Google Chrome's built-in translation feature may help you to view parts of the site in English if you cannot read Chinese. - To our knowledge, nothing so far has been removed or censored. But there is a somewhat weird observation: Sina Weibo's own URL shortener t.cn has a TIME DELAY for repeated requests! - All URLs (except for their own) are automatically shortened into a t.cn link, but we noticed the following peculiarity: Whenever clicking the links on our own Sina timeline, t.cn will resolve all of them correctly one by one into the original URL (including Facebook links which cannot be accessed normally in China!), but you may have to wait exactly ONE MINUTE between each request. Else Google Chrome will produce an error message "This webpage is not available".
