Biomes n shit

Outside of Lorraine, is the rest of the wonderful continent of Kikar. Lorraine is settled in the North-West, on the western coast of Kikar. The West Side actually has a harbor, but the southern side is unprotected by walls and mostly farmlands that go on for a few miles.

Further North, is the Frozen Mountains and beyond that is the Nameless Tundra, not that you really know much about these lands.

The entire bottom east corner of Kikar is a desert, with the lower west corner being mostly a nice pleasant forest. In the middle, there is a rather large lake that'd take about a month to completely circumnavigate, but fortunately there is an island in the middle along with a lot of ports and harbors along the edges for quicker travel. The middle island is essentially a big mass of crystal oddly enough, where the main temple of Alesia resides, along with some port towns and magical disturbances are rather frequent.

In the top east corner, is a rather large, unexplored chasm that recently opened along with the area surrounding it being somewhat of a jungle, despite the ravenous and unpredictable weather.

Far above the Nameless Tundra, lies the Tree of Life, visible from practically everywhere in Kikar except for the south.
