- Hey there :3
- Okay, so to go into detail about the plot, there is a lot more that needs to be changed than I initially realised. The standards for the reviewing has increased a fair deal.
- Firstly, your terrain. The cliff area looks incredibly messy. You have some areas that aren't covered by the grass palette, and it's looking a bit lazy. You can see the brush shaping; you should smooth it a lot more than you have. Try some voxel smoothing though, using /b e melt or /b bb. I would suggest doing that on both cliffs. You also need to make the base of the cliff a little more gradual - right now its a sudden stop, then instantly flat - try and pull it out a bit.
- Some areas of the 'land terrain' need raising. Right now it's a little flat.
- Regarding your palette, I wouldn't use all clay. You have some grass in the corners, but I would mix more grass in with the clay - Clay should be a detail block, it shouldn't be a main block, terrain wise (in this style, anyway.) That way, with more grass in the terrain, you can 'decorate' it more, with grass/tall grass/flowers/ferns etc.
- Secondly, organics. I like the bees, they're very cute.
- Your trees however need a lot of work. They're shaping is a little unusual - I think it's the smoothing you've done. They also lack roots and branches; I can see a couple branches, but nowhere near enough for the size of the trees. As well, the leaves are a bit too 'small', or at least the mass of them are a little small - you could also use some more air in the brush so they're less spherical.
- I highly recommend looking up Plutouthere on YouTube and checking out some of his medium/large tree tutorials.
- Lastly, your structure.
- I love the boat, it's looking lovely! I also really like the smaller houses.
- The larger structure is still a bit of an issue for me. I like the detailing a little more now, but I think because it's not much of an exciting structure (the shape and the layers of depth/missing roof), it stands out on the plot, not for great reasons.
- The palette is a little harsh, but it works. I think you just need a few 'softer' blocks in the building - lighter/less harsh textures, like a coloured clay, just to soften it a little, because you have a lot of strong textures on this building.
- There's no point getting mad at me for my judgement (your signs). I'm trying to help you, I'm not trying to insult you in any way.
- Good luck!
