I had a dream that my hometown of Paw Paw, Michigan just experienced a natural disaster and my friend in real life Jimmy Zimmerman and I were taking refuge in a retro video game store in town named Game Plaze. We sat in the office covering our heads for several hours before just sitting upright because it was now time for us to wait for the bus. Despite that we are both adults in our 30s, the dream suggested that we were waiting for a school bus but it was not clear enough if that is the type of bus that we were waiting for.

After that, Jimmy and I started having random conversations with each other. Eventually, the dream said that the retro game store was abandoned as of that day. This prompted me to shift through all the Super Nintendo games for a copy of Super Metroid because I have been wanting a copy of that game for a significant amount of time. After shifting through the top layer of games in a box, despite the fact that in the dream the cartridges below them were also Super Nintendo games, they turned into NES games, thus not what I am looking for.

I then went into the main part of the store to look through the Super Nintendo games there but Jimmy Zimmerman told me to come back into the office as people would be able to see me through the window snooping through games. I then returned to the office.

After an hour or so, Jimmy Zimmerman and I decided to leave, but when we left the office, the main part of the store had all the lights on despite the fact that all the lights were off initially. We also heard the owner of the store looking through stuff in the closet kitty-corner to the office.

Jimmy Zimmerman and I decided to make out escape, but we knew that if we went through the front door, the door would ding to inform entry so we needed to make a quick escape. We exited Game Plaze into the hallway and then a right turn out a door to outside. I then said, “Your dragon and my Moltres.”

Jimmy Zimmerman then got on a female dragon from a very recent movie released a few weeks ago, and he flew off into the distance. At the same time, I got on my Moltres and I told her to fly straight up because I felt the last place the store owner would look is straight up. Moltres then flew straight up but she could only go so high, not high as I wanted. Despite my encouragement, she could not go any higher. Moltres struggled to keep altitude and she would drop altitude at times, and then go back up. Repeat.

I then woke up after several attempts.
