Dad is Master Chapter 3

Chapter starts at a warehouse where 2 old guys are having a conversation. One of the guy says that Choi(referring to mc in this case) daughter is now 19 years old. He then continues and says that the daughter's mother died 2 years ago(So it's confirmed, fmc's mother is deceased). The other guy says so this means mc has been raising the daughter himself to which the other guy says yes and he has no choice but to do it even if there aren't related by blood. The guy then says why marry a woman who already has a daughter, i wouldn't have done so. The other guy also say he wouldn't do that either and would be opposed to such a marriage. The guy asks the other one why did mc marry her then to which the other guy says to go ask mc himself if he wants to know the answer. Meanwhile Mc is working and thinking how he can hear those 2 old man gossiping about him. He sigh and thinks how these old folks should mind their own business. he then thinks how people being opposed to his marriage with fmc's mother isn't something new to him and thinks how his family opposition was even firmer.

Flashback to when Mc's house and we're hearing people protesting. We hear someone shouting and saying to stop whatever nonsense mc is trying to do. It's revealed mc is arguying with his family over marrying fmc's mother. Mc, fmc, her mother and mc family are all there. Mc is strongly telling his family that whatever they say or think, he'll marry fmc's mother. Mc father then asks mc what is he doing. mc then narrates that he met strong opposition from his family about marrying fmc's mother. he then narrates that his mother and sister were the most opposed to the idea. We are then shown the mother telling mc that if he wants to see her die he can just go and do whatever he want and marry her(This mother is way too dramatic). Then the sister tells mc that she's been asking mc to bring a girl home all this time and what he brings is a whore(Take a chill pill).  Then Mc narrates that it was a young YeonSeul(Fmc) who turned and brought calm in the hearts of such an angry family. We are then shown a young a cute fmc(aged probably around 12/13 here) saying hi to everyone. Mc then narrates that the family quickly notices how polite and pure fmc looked like and they immediately warmed up to her. We are then shown a scene of mc's mom and father smiling and telling fmc to come back again and play. Mc then narrates that although his family initially didn't want Miyoung(fmc's mother), they quickly changed their mind after meeting fmc.

Scene back to present where mc narrates that now her mother is dead. Mc leaving work and telling everyone that he's knocking off and he'll see them tomorrow. Then someone calls mc to wait up(probably his boss). The boss tells him that he could work 2 shifts and that way he'll make more money. Mc tells him that he's fine this way and has to go home. He tells his boss that maybe when his daughter go to college he's rearrange his working schedule but for now he needs to take cares of his daughter at home too. Boss tells mc it's fine then. Boss then stops and asks mc if his daughter knows how hard her father is working for her to which mc replies that she doesn't have to know that and it's the parent's duty to take care of their children.

Scene jumps to Mc at home cooking. Fmc comes in and Mc asks her why is she late. Fmc start mumbling some random crap. Mc then asks fmc if she's drunk. Fmc then tells mc to leave her be and he's not her father. She then continues saying that he shouldn't care what she does whether it be selling her body and whatsnot. Mc then asks her what the hell is she on about. Fmc then says that she's just a dead weight to him anyways and why is mc still even pretending to care for her. Fmc tells her that the woman he loved has already died and he has no obligation to take care of her. She then tells mc that he probably wishes that she wasn't there and to just disappear? She then says she's heard how mc think of her as a dead weight and responsibility he doesn't want and he's just an hypocrite pretending to care. She then tells mc that she wishes she was dead.

Mc gets triggered, raises his hand and about to bitchslap her. Mc then refrains himself and instead hugs her. He holds her tight and tells her that he doesn't know what she heard and from who but to not listen to anyone but him. Fmc thinks that mc is shaking. She looks at mc and asks herself if he's crying. Fmc then thinks and asks herself what is she doing. She hugs mc back and thinks that because of her she's making mc life harder and hurting him. TBC
