  1. "Even In Death" Dagger-class Raider
  2.
  3. >Weaponry
  4. Prow: Dragon's Breath Lance (Hidden. Variant of Titanforge-pattern lance, with much shorter range but much greater damage. Can only fire forward)
  5. Port: Zeroheim Launch Bay (Characterized by its division into pyramidal three sub-landing bays, it is capable of quickly emptying its launch bays of strike craft. Not as vulnerable as fully open launch bays due to its compartmentalization. Currently occupied by a mix of shuttles and armored dropships.)
  6. Starboard: Zeroheim Launch Bay (Currently empty due to combat losses.)
  7.
  8. >Critical Components
  9. Bridge Type: Invasion Bridge: Designed to coordinate planetary invasions. Allows for better communication between ground and orbital forces, as well as pinpointing ground targets and landing zones.
  10. Plasma Drive: Cypra-pattern Class 2 Drive(Appears as Jovian Type 3 Drive. See Archaeotech for more information.)
  11. Warp Drive: Modified Klenova Class M (Appears as a Strelov 1. Allows vessel to traverse warp without a navigator; modifications minimize it's warp-wake, lowering risk of discovery.)
  12. Gellar Field: Mars Class 1 (STC-pattern gellar field. The baseline Imperial gellar field.)
  13. Void Shield: Mars-Pattern Repulsor Shield Array (Repels stellar debris and detritus, allows ship to move unimpeded through nebulae, asteroid belts, etc. Counts as 1 shield.)
  14. Augurs: R-25A Assault Scanners (Optimized for pinpointing key ground-based targets, such as anti-air batteries and power stations. Performance is lower than Imperial standard.)
  15. Life Sustainer: Euphoric Life SUstainer (Functions as Vitae-pattern life sustainer, but has option to pump drugs into air and water supplies to maintain crew order and docility, among other things. Drugs also affect enemy boarders.)
  16. Quarters: Modified Voidsmen Quarters (Modified from Clan-kin quarters. Results in larger common areas, harder to defend the ship during boarding actions.)
  17.
  18. >Supplemental Components
  19. Drive Baffles: Modifications to the ship's drives have reduced its augur signature, helping to disguise its presence from the enemy.
  20. Hydraphurian KL-264 Jamming System: Disrupts opponents' augur arrays and helps hide the ship.
  21. Barracks: Allows the vessel to transport one large regiment of ground troops for use in boarding actions or planetary assault.
  22.
  23. >Archaeotech Components
  24. Cypra-pattern Class 2 Drive: Reduces energy signature of the ship when disguise is removed. Helps hide ship's presence.
  25. Damaged Teleportarium: An ancient teleportarium, long out of use.
  26.
  27. >Past History: Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
  28. Beneath this vessel’s unassuming exterior is a dangerous spacefaring predator. The captain selects three Components. When scanned or subjected to anything but a thorough internal inspection, these components will either not register on the scans, or appear to be a different Component of the same type. Thus, the ship might hide additional armour plating, or a small macrobattery may be much more powerful than it appears. However, the ship suffers -2 Power to maintain the systems creating the illusion. The ship may also have concealed smuggling compartments, unseen passageways, hidden cogitation-override programming, or other secrets.
  29.
  30. >Complication: Skittish
  31. The ship fears battle, bucking against its masters when entering the fray. When in combat, reduce the ship’s Speed by 1. However, when not in danger, it runs eagerly and fast. Reduce the travel time for any long distance (between stars) voyage by 1d5 weeks, to a minimum of 1.
  32.
  33. >Biography
  34. The Daggger-class raider was developed from the venerable Dauntless-class Light cruiser to slip behind enemy defences and wreak havoc upon their vulnerable supply lines and fortifications. Utilizing the Dauntless' powerful and nimble drives, the artisans of the Adeptus Mechanicus stripped the hull of much of its armor and heavy weaponry, resulting in a much-smaller and lighter vessel that could outrun all but the most nimble escorts. Often used by agencies such as the Inquisition, Adeptus Arbites and certain Space Marine chapters, the Dagger-class raider's specialized nature means that very few are commissioned and those that exist find little time to rest. All Dagger-class raiders originate from the Jovian shipyards and as such lack the armored prow common to Imperial vessels.
  35.
  36. This particular vessel, answering to the name "Bloodpoint" while commanded by a nameless Chaos warlord, bears signs of heavy modifications and unskilled repair. A partial mural, uncovered in a section filled with detritus and waste, shows unknown gray-armored space marines assaulting some enemy, their eyes black as the void and their skin white as bone. Unusual geometric markings and spirals, as well as toothed maws adorn their armor. Clearly, this vessel once belonged to a now-lost chapter of Space Marines. Little sign of their presence remains however; much was desecrated by the foul heretics who used this vessel to raid Daymiris. Even more was lost when the vessel was assaulted by the Iron Dragons, who captured the ship and turned it over to Lady-Governor Elyssa von Braun. The vessel is currently being purified for use by the Imperium. However, the vessel will need to be repaired before it can traverse the tides of the Warp, offering the opportunity to refit and customize this vessel to the Governor's needs.
