- (Spinesreach): Luna says, "Aife has finished repairs of a small mechanism found in the catacombs."
- (Spinesreach): You say, "Ah, that is good news."
- (Spinesreach): Tina says, "Indeed."
- (Spinesreach): Luna says, "Would you care to accompany me and handle the mechanical work with
- affixing it to the orrery, Conduit? From what I understand, the widget has some resemblance to the
- mechanisms used in the Cabalist clock."
- She is a wise Idreth with a stocky, broad-hipped and well-padded build. She seems an earthy, no-
- nonsense individual, with narrow brown eyes that hold a calculating glint. Her face is round with
- soft features, a small nose and an expressive mouth. Her hair is perhaps the most interesting thing
- about her- fully longer than she is tall, it has been collected back into a tight braid and is
- pinned up out of the way in a few loops at the back of her head. Clean white bandages cross both her
- hands at the knuckles, wrapping down to her wrists in a neat dressing. She is wearing:
- a crimson scale earring
- a pair of heavy, crystal-lensed goggles
- tall leather boots
- a tenebrous sash of the Conduit
- a formal longcoat of the Cabal
- a silver wedding ring, inlaid with dark opal, symbolizing eternity
- a pair of diffusal goggles
- a loose, black poet shirt
- a neat olive-green vest
- earthy, loose-cut trousers

- A sturdy iron forge stands here, cold and dark. Aife, the blacksmith of Spinesreach, stands here
- holding her forging hammer. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground.
- Leaning calmly on his staff, a Guardian of the Master Crystal stands here. A small wooden sign is
- here. A note of fine parchment has been pinned to the wall. A small metal mechanism lies here, long
- and spiraling. Knight Commander Luna Olahri is here, hidden. She wields a slender halberd of steel
- and obsidian in her hands. You see a sign here instructing you that WARES is the command to see what
- is for sale.
- You see a single exit leading northwest.
- Aife, the blacksmith bows respectfully to you.
- You have emoted: Eleanor limps in, leaning her weight heavily on the cane she holds. She nods to
- Aife.
- (Cabalists): Nantafiria says, "An orrery.."
- (Cabalists): Nantafiria says, "I believe I once read a book about this."
- You say, "So, something like the clock?"
- (Cabalists): You say, "Is that so?"
- "Well, whatever it is, it will hopefully be useful," Luna says. Offering a polite nod to Aife, she
- adds, "Your services to the Lion are appreciated, blacksmith. What does the council owe for the
- commission?"
- (Cabalists): Nantafiria says, "Aye. The orrery of the spheres, it was called."
- Knight Commander Luna Olahri says to you, in Albedi, "According to Ghada, apparently."
- (Cabalists): You say, "Oh yes, I remember that title. Can't say I recall what the actual contents
- were."
- (Cabalists): Nantafiria says, "I'm having the same problem.. I think I'll go look for it somewhere."
- You have emoted: Eleanor glances to Aife. "Fascinating." After a moment, she adds, "Ah, sorry about
- the. Windows thing and all. It really wasn't at all your fault, you know."
- Giving you an appraising glance, Luna frowns and adds, "You do not look well, Conduit."
- "Similar material, she said." Aife, the blacksmith clarifies, resting her hands on her anvil and
- leaning upon them. "Look, Dhasan, let's just.. well, it wasn't difficult work, and it was a good bit
- of learning. So if we forget the whole broken glass deal." At this she darts a glance at you, "We
- can call it even."
- You have emoted: Eleanor gives a lopsided grin. "Occupational hazard," is her only explanation.
- Knight Commander Luna Olahri says in an exotic tone to Aife, the blacksmith, "Done, blacksmith."
- (Cabalists): Nantafiria says, ".. There."
- Aife, the blacksmith nods her head at Luna.
- (Cabalists): Nantafiria says, "Aye.. This book is about the one in the putoran hills."
- You say, "I suppose we're off to see the orrery, then?"
- You begin to follow Luna.
- (Cabalists): You say, "Oh, I see. Yes, we filched some bits from that."
- Knight Commander Luna Olahri says in an exotic tone, "I suppose so."
- [walk walk walk]
- (Cabalists): Nantafiria says, "So I heard. That shouldn't be a problem, anyway.. The thing would
- only disrupt matters entirely."
- You follow Luna to the north.
- In the center of a vaulted hall.

- Dark and silent, a ruined orrery occupies much of the center of this chamber. A ruddy farmer with a
- sharp pitchfork stands here, eyeing you warily. There are 2 cabalists of jherza here. A sigil in the
- shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground.
- You see exits leading north, east, south, and west.
- (Cabalists): Nantafiria says, "But an orrery in our city itself? That is another matter entirely."
- This ancient, weathered orrery is a towering construction of steel, brass and crystal, uneasily dead
- and silent; it does not appear to be overtly damaged, or rusted beyond repair, but several
- components seem to be missing and it does not move. A broad, sculpted central plate depicts Sapience
- in fine detail, sporting forests of tiny brass trees and lakes of shining silver, interspersed with
- bronze mountain peaks and tiny, sprawling obsidian cities. Four great metal rings are arrayed around
- the central mechanism on rotating axes, while four curved plates surround the central sculpture on
- circular tracks. A large brass switch protrudes from the innards of the machine, gleaming in the
- light.
- You have emoted: Eleanor leans heavily on her cane, the hand grasping it trembling slightly as she
- peers up at the machine.
- In a hushed tone, you say, "Well, would you look at that."
- "An impressive construction, to be certain," Luna agrees. "According to the Sovereign, it extends
- deep below the catacombs to the bedrock of the mountains."
- You have emoted: Eleanor raises her eyebrows. "Hum, the boss knows a thing or two about it, does
- he?"
- Knight Commander Luna Olahri says in an exotic tone, "Perhaps. Who can truly tell? He divulges what
- secrets he wish, I think."
- You have emoted: Eleanor smirks a little. "Always pays to keep a card or three up your sleeve."
- (Cabalists): Nantafiria says, "Could I see the thing? Or is it behind closed doors?"
- (Cabalists): You say, "It's not. Come and find me, I'm standing under it right now."
- You have emoted: Eleanor limps a bit closer to the machine, narrowed eyes taking in its various
- details.
- "A metaphor, Conduit?" Luna asks curiously, tilting her head slightly to one side. "I find I rarely
- keep cards hidden on my person myself."
- You have emoted: Without turning around, Eleanor holds a hand up- she makes a quick gesture, and
- though she seemed to be emptyhanded a moment ago, a worn and dog-eared playing card is between her
- fingers now. "Metaphorically and literally. You never know." She leans in to the orrery, carefully
- sliding the card into a groove between two of its parts.
- There is a soft, quiet 'snikt', and the card is shorn of half its length.
- (Cabalists): Nantafiria says, "Oh my.."
- Luna gives you a strange glance. "In any case," she continues, "we should see about getting this
- screw affixed to the orrery. Myself, I am without much insight into matters of mechanics."
- Nantafiria arrives from the east.
- You have emoted: Eleanor tilts her head to the side, squinting at the machine. "Glorious workmanship,
- as one would expect. Egotistical gits, but meticulous ones. Look at how close this is."
- You have emoted: Eleanor straightens up, returning the bisected card- now a one of spades,
- apparently- to whence it came. "Ah, and an assistant, right on time." She nods at Nantafiria.
- "Assistant," Nantafiria repeats, brows arching slowly. "Right." Without saying anything else, he
- shifts his gaze over to the mechanism.
- "I had wondered if that might be necessary," Luna says. "You do not seem to be in much of a state to
- handle the handiwork yourself for the moment. Conduit."
- Eyeing the wrench carefully, Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says to Knight Commander Luna Olahri,
- "Something needs to be screwed on?"
- You have emoted: Eleanor gives a short bark of laughter, though the precise reason for it is
- difficult to discern. "Yes, well, with any luck I won't end up full of metal a second time in as
- many months. Pass that component here so I can have a good look at it?"
- Nantafiria looks at Luna for a long moment before blinking in confusion, moving over towards you.
- Nantafiria gives a Lgaktite-Jhako twining screw to you.
- p mechanism
- Roughly spiral in shape, this strange component seems to shift and twitch ceaselessly while
- remaining entirely still.
- It weighs 3 ounce(s).
- Luna takes a few steps back from the orrery, looking about the vaulted hall as if thoroughly
- uninterested in the proceedings with the machinery.
- Lips pursing, Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "I.. Think I'll look around for a moment."
- Nantafiria leaves to the west.
- You have emoted: Eleanor turns the article over in her fingers, squinting closely at it. "Hm,
- alright. Well, I suppose I'm looking for where it goes, then." She takes a slow circuit around the
- machine, squinting up at it.
- Nantafiria arrives from the east.
- Annoyedly, Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath frowns and says, ".. Ugh."
- Nothing immediately leaps to the fore, though there are any number of likely-looking cavities and
- holes for missing screws. A few particularly large ones are located towards the central core of the
- mechanism, easily an arm's reach into the very heart of the stilled cogs and gears.
- You have emoted: Muttering to herself, Eleanor limps her way around the machine. "Couldn't leave a
- manual with the thing, could they. Component A, thread 1, watch your fingers..." She ducks a little
- to get under one of the plates, moving closer to the heart of it. "Don't suppose the thing will
- spring to life with this in it. Awful bad luck for the technician."
- You have emoted: Eleanor peers at a particularly deeply-set potential spot. Tilting her head, she
- eyes the gears that crowd ominously nearby. "You know, I think that could be it. Judging by the
- shape."
- "One can always hope, Conduit," Luna replies stoically, her voice echoing around the vaulted hall.
- Nantafiria draws his eyebrows together, casting an annoyed glance northwards.
- The screw quivers for a moment in your fingers, though moments later you cannot be sure it moved at
- all.
- You say, "Something-."
- You have emoted: Eleanor looks down at the component she holds, seeming bemused.
- Slowly, you say, "...something... bothering you, scholar?"
- Apparently satisfied with her assessment of the surroundings, Luna wanders back to you, observing
- you quietly, hands clasped behind her back.
- "The doors to the north," Nantafiria answers, with a sigh. "They're far too large to have a mere
- janitor's cabinet behind them.
- You say, "I don't know, those Ankyreans..."
- You have emoted: Eleanor gives a cheeky grin.
- You say, "I know what you mean, though. One wonders if this beast will be at all related to that."
- Nantafiria casts you a mildly bored glance.
- Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "Mm.. Well, probably is."
- Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "Perhaps it is the door's key, so to speak. A lever, only a
- thousand times more intricate."
- You have emoted: Eleanor leans more heavily on her cane, pointing with the component to the guts of
- the machine. "I think that's it in there. I can probably reach, if neither of you particularly care
- to do the honours..." she glances briefly at Luna and Nantafiria, assessing their perceptible levels
- of interest in the task at hand.
- "C'mon," Nantafiria says, shaking his head. "I'm taller.. And not canestricken, either."
- "I will leave mechanical business to Cabalists, I think," Luna says impassively.
- You have emoted: Eleanor nods. "Alright then, here you go." She hands a Lgaktite-Jhako twining
- screw across to Nantafiria and steps back a little, pointing with her hand now. "You're aiming for
- that sink right in the back. It'll need a few turns to go in, and, ah..." She glances at the cogs
- nearby. "You may need to pull your hand back awful quick if it starts to move."
- Nantafiria grimaces, nodding sternly at you. He reaches over, half-climbing into the enormous orrery
- before he manages to actually reach the proper spot. "Where's the kelki when you need them.." he
- grumbles, before finally clicking the piece in place.
- Nantafiria puts a Lgaktite-Jhako twining screw into a towering, ruined orrery.
- The orrery remains still and silent, but for a tiny, rather noticeable set of precise movements -
- the screw completes a half-turn to the left, entirely unguided by any mortal hand, shifts to
- protrude an inch from the casing, then burrows into it swiftly, sealing the bore without a hair's-
- width of space left over.
- The orrery emits a low, resonant CLUNK that seems to shiver off the dome overhead and the walls
- around it.
- Nantafiria swears loudly, quickly clambering away from the orrery.
- "Curious," Luna comments. "It almost seems as if it had some will of its own."
- You have emoted: Eleanor rears back instinctively as the component moves of its own accord, but when
- no large Nantafiria-crushing movements are observed, she exhales slowly.
- You say, "I've got no idea if that means it'll work."
- You say, "We could try pulling the lever, I suppose."
- Brushing off his sleeves with a huffy frown, Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "I'm okay, thank you.
- "
- You have emoted: Eleanor takes a few more paces back, still limping. "Looks like that was the place,
- in any case. Good work, scholar."
- Nantafiria nods slowly, keeping his distance from the machine even if it remains still. ".. So," he
- simply says. "Now what."
- You have emoted: Eleanor nods toward the lever. "Test it."
- "Yes," Luna agrees, offering a slight, polite nod towards Nantafiria and you. "Good work, Cabalists.
- The lack of explosions should be taken as a bonus, I suppose."
- You say, "Explosions are usually pretty conclusive evidence to something working or not working. I'm
- not sure what to make of a 'clunk'."
- Nantafiria reaches into the depths of the ruined orrery and yanks on a large, brass switch
- expectantly.
- The orrery responds with a sad little clunk and no further sign of change.
- You have emoted: Eleanor purses her lips. "Hrm. Looks like we still need more bits."
- "I'm pretty sure I know what that means," Nantafiria says, dryly.
- Knight Commander Luna Olahri says in an exotic tone, "Unfortunate. Well, perhaps someone else will
- have a lucky find in time."
- You say, "Did we ask Qeddwyn if he knew anything about it?"
- You say, "Poor sod's our only real fallback for these things."
- Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "If he did, he would've told us two centuries ago."
- Knight Commander Luna Olahri says in an exotic tone, "Yes. He did not, but mentioned it was part of
- the work of another Conclave, probably."
- Flatly, you say, "You think so, do you?"
- Simply, Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "I think so."
- You say, "He's never been particularly forthcoming with things in the past."
- You say, "Always comes up as a sort of, oh yes I remember that you should have asked me about it
- kind of thing."
- You have emoted: Eleanor leans on her cane, peering upward at the looming bulk of the silent machine.
- "And a lot of the time he doesn't want to remember. Can't rightly blame him, what he's been through."
- Knight Commander Luna Olahri says in an exotic tone, "I suppose not. Still, it would be helpful if
- he would be more forthcoming with his knowledge."
- [Luna then legged it and we were back in the middle of the citadel before I could get 'lose luna' down the line.]
- Nantafiria arrives from the down.
- Nantafiria begins to follow you.
- You say, "Good grief."
- "I'm not so sure," Nantafiria considers, shaking his head. "I suspect that often, he has good reason
- to remain quiet."
- You say, "Mm, there is that, as well."
- You have emoted: Eleanor taps her cane thoughtfully on the stone underfoot. "I suppose he'll tell us
- when he's good and ready."
- Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "I do wonder what sort of crystal they used, though.."
- You say, "Hm? Crystal?"
- Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "It can't have been the crystal the Sciomancers and the Ascendril
- have, it must be something different."
- Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "You didn't notice? The thing had all sorts of materials."
- You say, "I suppose I wasn't examining it for materials so much as function. Curious, very curious."
- Grimacing, Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "Figure we won't know it's function until, well..
- Y'know."
- You have emoted: Eleanor squints along the corridor. "I believe I may attempt an audience with Him
- of the Wind, see what He has to say on the matter." She taps her cane against the floor smartly.
- "And that means I need a stiff drink."
- Nantafiria follows you to the west.

- You see exits leading east (open pine door) and down (closed pine door).
- Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "Y'know, I've never even seen Him."
- Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath asks, "What's He like?"
- You have emoted: Eleanor limps her way across to the bar. "Honey bourbon for me and Him, and..." she
- glances to Nantafiria, eyebrows expectantly raised.
- "Something simple, please," Nantafiria requests, with a nod.
- Turning back to the bartender, you say, "And some of the terrace vodka for this lad."
- You have emoted: Eleanor is handed two glasses- the third, for Nantafiria, remains on the bar as she
- limps her way across to a table near the back, setting the vessels she holds down carefully and
- taking a seat.
- You say, "As to what He's like..."
- You have emoted: Eleanor takes a slow sip from the glass she set down near herself, the other
- resting across the table from her. "You'll see."
- Nantafiria takes the glass off of the bar, settling down next to you. "Okay then.."
- "Who've you got here, Conduit?" A voice like the grinding of a crypt inquires, and all at once
- Maghak is seating Himself across from Eleanor, setting the still air of the shop roiling by virtue
- of His mere presence.
- Maghak eyes Nantafiria dubiously, settling a meaty hand around His drink.
- You have emoted: Eleanor raises her glass in something of a salute. "This would be scholar
- Nantafiria. Guildmate. Ex-Ascendril."
- Nantafiria nods his head at you, and then at Maghak.
- Maghak gives a hoarse chuckle, shaking His head slightly. "Pleasure is Mine." He informs Nantafiria
- drily, taking an appreciative gulp from His glass.
- You have emoted: Eleanor tilts her glass, watching the light play off the golden-brown fluid within.
- "Got a look at that beast of a thing under the Catacombs just now. Magnificent workmanship."
- Nantafiria's lips twist up in a smirk, which remains in place even as he takes a sip of vodka.
- With a nod, Maghak says to you, "Old, old work. Doubt it was just the Ankyreans who tinkered with it.
- S'got a.. something extra, to it. Sure you noticed it, perceptive woman like yerself." He pauses.
- His tone is smooth and innocent as He queries, "How's your head?"
- Nantafiria's brows arch up, and then down, a hand moving to rub his chin.
- You have emoted: Eleanor gives a small, crooked smile. "On the mend. Been a while since I took a
- tumble like that, so in some way it's almost refreshing." She takes a sip of her drink. "Insofar as
- being thrown arse over tit and shot full of metal can be refreshing," she adds as an afterthought.
- Shifting in His seat, Maghak, the Sovereign says, "Well, now, if you don't get to do it often, it
- might be such. Nothing quite as bracing as a shower of white-hot metal fragments, I'm told."
- You have emoted: Eleanor gives a toothsome grin. "I might ask who told You that, but perhaps I don't
- want to know." She shakes her head, bringing herself back to the topic at hand. "There certainly is
- something about that machine. Shame I'm not much of a... what's the word, chronologist? I'd need to
- do a lot more research to plot just who'd have been about to have a crack at it."
- Nantafiria casts you a pensive glance, brows drawn together even still.
- Maghak pokes a meaty finger in Nantafiria's direction, spilling some of His drink with the sudden
- movement. "You." He grunts. "Speak up. Got a bunch of thoughts behind those pursed lips. Let 'em out
- before you rupture something."
- You have emoted: Eleanor cuts her gaze across to Nantafiria, her expression unreadable.
- "Spinesreach was built by the Ankyreans," Nantafiria states, monotonously. "They lived here all by
- themselves.. The Grand Artifice happened, and Spinesreach lay sealed for a century before being
- rediscovered. After being unsealed, the city would've been too busy for such a large thing to go
- unnoticed." He takes an idle sip of vodka. "If the thing wasn't built by the Ankyreans alone.. One
- of these facts must be wrong."
- Maghak gives you a silent, questioning look, drink paused a few inches from His lips.
- You have emoted: Eleanor bounces a similar look back at Maghak, but then simply raises her eyebrows
- and busies herself with a sip of her drink.
- After a pause, Maghak, the Sovereign asks, "You familiar with the idea of Divinity, boy?"
- Dryly, Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "I would've been a lot more surprised by someone just
- appearing in this place if I wasn't."
- Grunting, Maghak, the Sovereign says, "City of Syssin, and you're surprised by invisible folk. Not
- sure if you're rearing them proper, Conduit."
- With a grin, you say, "Don't look at me, I said he was ex-Ascendril."
- "Bit of a handicap to get past, I suppose." Maghak takes a drink, returning His turbulent gaze to
- Nantafiria. "I meant My Brother, or one of My kin, were involved. Can taste it in the air around the
- beast. Feel it when it breathes. Not something easily explained."
- You have emoted: Eleanor makes a noise to the affirmative into her bourbon. "Has that mind-of-its-
- own business going on, too. Bit like our clock, actually. Got a fright when the component jumped
- into place."
- "Dammit," Nantafiria mutters, shoulders slumping. "That doesn't make things easier at all."
- Maghak snorts, violently, and claps a heavy hand against the tabletop. "Real sorry about that." He
- growls with rather malicious amusement, baring His teeth at Nantafiria. "Let Me just get out My
- magic wand and make history's little kinks disappear, eh?"
- Deadpan, you say, "Hey, can I have a go at that thing after you're done?"
- Maghak, the Sovereign says, "With your track record, Conduit, you'd be picking it out of your bloody
- nostril within the hour."
- You have emoted: Eleanor gives a short bark of laughter, raising her glass. "Alright, pay that," she
- concedes, and takes a sip.
- "'s not the history I'm concerned with," Nantafiria states, with a grunt, taking a long sip of vodka.
- "'s just the key to repairing the thing. It'll be -our- orrery once it's finished."
- "Wonder what the orrery will have t'say about that." Maghak retorts good-naturedly, leaning back
- until His chair groans in protest.
- Shrugging, Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "Won't know 'till it's repaired."
- You say, "That's a curious thought, as an aside- did you hear that our clock spoke to us right
- before it broke everything and exploded a bit?"
- Maghak's humour fades, rather suddenly, and the feet of His chair hit the ground with a click as He
- sits forward. "Spoke?" He almost growls, peering at you intently.
- Nantafiria falls silent, turning his head towards you.
- You have emoted: Eleanor makes a sound to the affirmative, pausing to wet her tongue with another
- sip of bourbon. "Mm. Four hundred and fifty-two 'units since epoch' is what it said, whatever that
- means."
- Maghak seems to relax somewhat, and the almost unnoticeable shiver of electricity in the air earths
- itself across the table in a series of small, snapping sparks. "Epoch." He muses, heavy brow
- furrowed. "Which one, I wonder? Clock's an old thing, right?"
- You say, "At least as old as the Old Cabal."
- You have emoted: Eleanor considers her drink. "At least," she reiterates.
- Maghak's interest rapidly wanes, and He waves a hand at you. "I see. Something to be explored. Might
- resonate with the new orrery."
- You say, "Well, they certainly seem to have a lot in common."
- You have emoted: Eleanor tilts her glass toward Maghak. "Luna said you had some comment to make on
- how big it was? Extending below the floor or something."
- "Gotta understand something." This comes grudgingly, as though Maghak's words are not something He
- would choose to speak. He eyes you. "I can feel it, burrowing into the guts of the bedrock. But it's
- a cold and fickle sight. The Earth is not Mine."
- You have emoted: Eleanor foregoes comment on that one, simply ruminating solemnly on the statement
- for a time.
- After a while, you say, "...Can You see how deep it goes in its entirety?"
- Shortly, Maghak, the Sovereign says, "No."
- Nantafiria heaves a small sigh before curling his lips into a weary grin. "Sounds like we can almost
- plan a family reunion, it does."
- You have emoted: Eleanor's brows draw together in a familiar expression of intense thought. "Wonder
- why they'd crack so deep," she mumbles to herself.
- Maghak stands, ill-humored and dark of expression, and pushes His chair back to the table. The drink
- stands unfinished on its surface. "Pleasure as always, Conduit." He grunts, tipping His hat curtly.
- "Talk more, later."
- The shifting currents of air around Maghak abruptly intensify, and without fanfare He dissipates
- into them and vanishes in a heartbeat.
- You say, "Well, well. That -is- curious."
- Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath wryly says, "He's a God. Were you expecting anything else?"
- You have emoted: Eleanor quirks an eyebrow. "What're you getting at? That was a damnsight more
- informative than any conversation I've ever had with Her of the Mystery."
- "Not knowing things tends to make me more curious than being told things," Nantafiria replies,
- arching a brow of his own.
- You have emoted: "Knowing things tends to make me more informed than being left in the dark,"
- Eleanor counters smoothly.
- "Yes," Nantafiria answers, with a lazy shrug. "But even now, we're in the dark. Sort of."
- You have emoted: Eleanor smirks. "What did you expect?"
- Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath wryly says, ".. That's my line."
- You say, "Be that as it may, there's a difference between a directionless question and a lead."
- You have emoted: Eleanor narrows her eyes at the abandoned glass across from her as she sips from
- her own- there is a satisfied and intent smile on her lips as she adds, "And what we have is leads.
- "
- "Indeed," Nantafiria agrees, with a nod.
- You have emoted: Eleanor throws back the rest of her glass of bourbon and then slowly gets to her
- feet, leaning heavily on her cane.
- You say, "Well, I've got some things to think on now- imagine you do too."
- Nodding, Haruspex Nantafiria Bharath says, "Yeah.. Figure I do."
- You say, "See you later, scholar."
