1. Yes, you're right, my bad. Vice Gaming already exists, obviously, and I have confused the planned growth with the launch. To be precise, I confused the planned growth of this already existing place with establishing a formal name for it, a name which also already exists ;)

2. I know these are freelancers -- I couldn't fit this info into a tweet that already had the 140 character limit partially eaten by a link *and* a attached image, but I quoted the relevant part at the top of the image to make sure it's addressed.

3. Some of the writers you contracted can write indeed. Some can't, and their shallow thoughts buried under the purple prose made me stop reading them years ago. But YMMV, of course, and it's your publication and your choices. If you like them all, great. Personally, just as I would not trust an anti-harassment organization lead by a bully, I don't trust writers who are hypocrites and resort to ad hominem insults while claiming to be open minded and fighting for the better world. Having said that...

4. I'm happy you say "Their opinions not published by me are just that, though." (even if "opinion" is just an euphemism for calling someone "a total dick"). I think this approach is the way to go, and we all need grow a thicker skin, and even separate the creator from the creation -- a writer can be feisty on Twitter but write well-researched gold about video games, and a game developer can not demonize or even support a controversial movement and still make decent games. I wish your freelancers understood it too, though.
