Personality: Avery is so caring to everyone she knows. Her kindness causes her to be easily taken advantage of, but it also lets her get to know many new people that she otherwise would not have interacted with. She is thoughtful and considerate, often going out of her way to help others. She hates conflicts of all sorts, and doesn't seem to see she's being used until it's too late. Her past experiences have made it that Avery has an awkward and bumbling persona when you first meet her. She purposely plays dumb to jokes, but this is all to protect herself from getting hurt. Avery gets jealous easily, and her jealousy isn't the cute kind. It's the kind where she constantly worries if she's being replaces (which isn't jealousy, it's fear), where she constantly asks questions about the person, the kind where she unintentionally glares at the person. She's quite oblivious and a definite introvert.

Background: Avery is adopted. Her parents couldn't afford to look after her - she had 9 siblings after all, so she was looked after by her aunt and uncle. Avery was 8. The new family moved to America a year after, with the couple becoming Avery's legal guardians and giving her the english name Avery. They had a few children there, which is why Avery has this motherly instinct to look after the younger members. It's also why she's so afraid of being replaced. Avery was lucky as she only experienced the Asian stereotyping growing up in America. As she grew up, she found out that she had quite a powerful singing voice. The only thing she ever begged her parents do for herself was to let her have singing lessons, which they quickly agreed to.
