  13. [23:44] <@tenThe|Online> [You really hope it'll stop pouring rain at some point. Maybe after the Denizen's death or terraforming.]
  14. [23:45] <pyrReb|online> 7[The coordinates aren't that far from the spire. Down a subterranean entrance thats half filled with a torrent of water from the surface. The sounds of the wind and rain on the surface quickly disappear, subsumed by the river. There is a path though that stays above the water.]
  15. [23:48] <pyrReb|online> 7[It eventually leads in to a system of caverns branching off from the river, and the sound of it too is soon only a dull roar in the distance. A new sound can be heard, a piano, off in the distance.]
  16. [23:50] <@tenThe|Online> [Phew, underground pathways mean that the storm's unable to reach down. Although falling into the river would get you even more wet than if he stayed out in the rain.]
  17. [23:51] <@tenThe|Online> [You push back your hood. A piano? You follow it. "Hey, Rania, I'm here," you call. You suspect the piano is her doing.]
  18. [23:51] <pyrReb|online> 7[The piano stops, and the sound of scuffing feet can be heard as you dash towards the sound. You briefly overshoot the entrance he's coming through though, and comically lean backwards and bounce on a single leg to move back. "Hey!"]
  19. [23:53] <@tenThe|Online> [You grin and wave at her. "Hey, Rania, I'm here. What did you want to show me?"]
  20. [23:53] <pyrReb|online> 7[You grin, quickly hug him, then grab his arm, pulling him the way you came. "Oh come on, you must've heard it."]
  21. [23:54] <@tenThe|Online> [You hug her back in the brief snatch of time you have to do it, and then you're dragged down the tunnels. "A piano? You found a piano?"]
  22. [23:57] <pyrReb|online> 7["No of course not. I found a miniature Effiel tower." You respond, voice dripping with sarcasam. "Of course I found a piano." Your pace slows as you enter a large open cavern, the piano dwarfed by the space it finds itself in. You keep hold of his hand though as you walk up to it. "You ever played one?"]
  23. [00:00] <@tenThe|Online> ["Wow, that is a horrible miniature Eiffel Tower. It looks more like a piano." You don't make any movement to let go or take your hand away. "I can't say I have, really. I mainly stick to guitars. Miniature Eiffel Towers aren't part of my repertoire." You frown at the piano. "No idea what it's doing here, though."]
  24. [00:02] <pyrReb|online> 7[You lead him to the bench and sit down at it. "Currently? Asking to be played." You giggle quietly at your own joke. "As for /how/ it's here, sometimes the game glitches. Doesn't it look familiar?" It's identical to the one thats played in the Derse jazz club.]
  25. [00:05] <@tenThe|Online> ["Of course glitches, how could I forget that." You peer at the piano. "Maybe a little?" You would probably recognize it more if you spent any time more than 'next to none' in the jazz club on Derse.]
  26. [00:06] <pyrReb|online> 7["Silly Adam." You laugh again and idly press a couple keys. "Alright, come on, sit down, even if you don't play you can still help!" You nod your head at the seat beside you.]
  27. [00:08] <@tenThe|Online> ["I can?" You sit down. "All I really know about playing piano is you press the keys and that makes the sounds, I'm not sure how I can help."]
  28. [00:09] <pyrReb|online> 7["Well if I show you the keys to play, you can keep a rythym easily enough. Or atleast I hope so." You turn and stare gravely at him. "You are, still competent right? I didn't forget about you being defective or something." The corners of your mouth twitch as you try not to grin.]
  29. [21:34] <Adam> ["I am pretty sure I'm competent." You say soberly. "Although I bet there's several people who would jump at the chance to argue otherwise, if you asked them." You grin. "Yeah, I bet I can keep a rhythm. Show me what keys to press."]
  30. [21:37] <Rania> [You grin and bump his shoulder. "Good! You want this one here and this one here." You press the two keys with fingers from the same hand. "Timed like that."]
  31. [21:40] <Adam> [You nod, and do so. You may not play piano, but you do have a knack for playing by ear, tempered by years of practice. You press the keys she says with the timing she showed. "Like that?"]
  32. [21:42] <Rania> ["Yup! Now give it time, keep your fingers the same distance apart and move down the piano." You show him as you talk. "And when you get down to here, start right back at the top! You'll be keeping time for me as well, and thats a pretty important job, don't ya know." You laugh softly.]
  33. [21:45] <Adam> [Adam nodded. "Right, I know, I can do that." You know how important keeping time is. You proceed to do what she's showed you, carefully, brows furrowed a bit in concentration as you move your hand up and down the keyboard.]
  34. [21:53] <Rania> [You let him go through it a couple times, nodding as he gets it right. "Good, good! See? Competent after all." You wait until he starts back up at the higher notes before starting your own part. Starting a slow and slightly mournful melody.]

  36. [22:00] <Adam> [You tilt your head, listening to the song. You're quiet for a moment, when the last notes fade. "That's a nice song," you say eventually.]
  37. [22:01] <Rania> [Your face has a small smile on it as you remember back to where you learnt it. The soft plinks of water dripping from the ceiling into puddles around the room adding to the nostalgic air. As you finish you reach for Adam's free hand and hold it, resting your head against his shoulder. "Thanks, you played it well."]
  38. [22:10] <Adam> ["Heh. I had a good teacher, I guess." You scoot a bit closer to her, squeezing her hand. "Guess I have proof I'm competent to show the naysayers."]
