  2. Character Creation:
  3. In the world of Destiny, there are many paths to take. Not all Guardians are bastions of the Light, and not all heroes were reborn with the Traveler's Light. It takes not your power to make yourself strong, but your willingness to go against the Darkness, and become legend, that determines your power. For this room, character creation will be something closely examined, by both the Owner, and the Mods, to ensure fairness, and freedom. We will start with a quick run-down of what is acceptable for a player character:

  5. The Traveler's Chosen:

  7. Human: The Chosen, uplifted by the Traveler, and when the Traveler brought its greatest enemy to them, saved them from extinction. The years that followed, Humanity has proven that even facing the end of their existence, they are adaptable, and resiliant. Even humans who are not Guardians are capable of greatness, and need only to look into their inner strength to succeed over Darkness.

  9. Awoken: When the Collapse first commenced, there were those who fled Earth, to seek new life among the stars. However, what return was forever changed by the Void, becoming something more than Human. With odd colored hair and skin, these beings are mystic and strange, rarely leaving their home among the Reef. But those who were chosen as Guardians remain viligant, and work among their comrades.

  11. Exo: A mysterious, sentient race of War-Machines, created during the Golden Age, to defend in the fruitless war against the Darkness. While their bodies are mechanical, their minds and spirits are very much human, and serve to protect their brothers and sisters in arms against the Forces of the Darkness. Only recently has it come to light how the Exo's were created, but their purposes and goals reflect not like machines, but like living beings.

  13. Eliksni: Due to recent events, it has become aware that the Traveler's Light seeks not only Humanity, but all who are deemed worthy to protect the Light itself. Once considered one of the greatest enemies to Humanity, a select few of these four-armed, bipedal xenos have been chosen to serve as Guardians. While this discovery is still fresh, Eliksni Guardians face ridicule from their events in the past.

  15. The Techniques of the Guardians:

  17. The path of a Guardian's powers come from what branch of the Vanguard they fall under. Taliored after years of refining the light given to them, the Light has proven to be a powerful tool, and with the proper training, can burn away the Darkness.

  19. Titans:
  20. The Pillars of the City, defenders of Humanity and the Traveler. What a Titan lacks in speed and flexibility with the Light, they make up for in sheer durability and strength. In a Fireteam, they serve as protectors to their team, and to those they are protecting. The Titans stood as the Wall while the First Pillars rose, and they continue to be the Balwark to which the Darkness claws at to this day.
  21. Strikers: 'Seize power in your own hands, and strike away the Evils that surround you'
  22. -Arc Based Super. Enter a state of energetic power, and devestate your foes with explosive shockwaves and power fists.
  23. Defenders: 'Be the Wall that which Darkness breaks.'
  24. -Void Based Super. Call forth the power of the Void to create a shield to block fire, and smash away foes, or summon an bubble of Void to block incoming fire, and protect your allies.
  25. Sunbreakers: 'Call forth rightous fury, and seek vengence with the Sun's might.'
  26. -Sol Based Super. Summon a hammer forged in the Sun's power, and use it to incinerate foes at a distance, or smash them to ashes.

  28. Hunters:
  29. The Pathsetters of Humanity, whose home is among the wild as much as it is within the City. Hunters are nimble, and cunning fighters, utilizing everything and anything to defeat the Enemies of the Light. Hunters move through combat, bypassing and weakening fortified positions, blowing away foes in the blink of an eye, and utilizing dynamic martial arts to confuse and overwhelm even the largest of foes.
  30. Gunslingers: 'Aim fast, and aim true, and watch your enemies burn away.'
  31. -Sol Based Super. Call forth a hand cannon of pure Solar energy to destroy your enemies in a blaze of glory.
  32. Arcstriders: 'A dance with a storm is a deadly tango, mostly for the bad guys'
  33. -Arc Based Super. Summon a bo-staff of arc energy, and engage foes with incredible feats of acrobatics, and lethal strikes.
  34. Nightstalkers: 'Fire straight, and your foes will have no exit, and your allies will not go hungry'
  35. -Void Based Super. Conjure a box from the Void, and fire a bolt of energy that tethers nearby foes near the impact point to allow allies to destroy them with ease and gain power.

  37. Warlocks:
  38. The Scholars of the Guardians, whose path to knowledge leads them through gunfights, but their thirst creates deadly opponents. Warlocks glide through battles, and outwit foes with superior tactics, and overwhelming firepower. Their strength comes not from their bodies, but from the way they wield the Light, to create devestating forces which tears the Darkness apart.
  39. Voidwalkers: 'Whisper to the powers of the Infinite, and reveal their answers to your enemies.'
  40. -Void Based Super. Concentrates the Void into a powerful projectile, to hurl towards foes to obliterate in a large explosion.
  41. Dawnblades: 'Fly closer to the Sun, and rain its heat down upon Darkness.'
  42. Sol Based Super. Brings forth a blade of Solar energy, to allow them to take flight, and throw cascades of firey death upon the enemies of the Travler.
  43. Stormcallers: 'Call to the Lightning, and become the rolling thunder that follows.'
  44. -Arc Based Super. Bring forth the Storm, allowing arc energy to flow through and release onto unsuspecting foes with swift movements and chain lightning.

  46. Eliksni:
  47. While the knowledge of Eliksni techniques of wielding the Light is still fresh, the House of Redemption has shown that their powers are as equally devestating as the Guardians themselves. A reclusive House, that has chosen to remain hidden among its own kind, and the Guardians themselves, but much like their kin, they fight with ferocity and honor. Their House abides by strict rules, and thus, they fight with one purpose, to destroy the Darkness.
  48. Arka-Livik(Living Arc): 'To be Arc, you must embrace it, and make it part of you'
  49. -Arc Based Super. Imbues the powers of Arc into the body, to blink between enemy lines, and tear enemies to ribbons with arc-infused claws.
  50. (Trailblazer): 'To build a path for Light to remove Darkness, you must burn a path for it.'
  51. -Sol Based Super. Empowers the melee weapons and body, to strike down foes with solar infernos and create paths for allies to boost speed.
  52. (Hungering Void): 'To feel the power of the Void, you must nourish its power.'
  53. -Void Based Super. Creating two pits of Void, they are tossed forth to devour and grow, and upon their death, implode.

  55. Being a Guardian is not required. In fact, it is encouraged to explore other options. However, if assistance is needed, you may always speak to the Owner/Mods to inquire on ideas that fit within the universe of Destiny. As for equipment, things like exotics are not limited to what is in game, however, if an exotic is to be submitted that is not already within game lore, it is required that the creator gives a detailed explaination of what makes the weapon/armor exotic, and how they were to acquire it. You may be asked to not hold this equipment right away, as it could be used for plot points/character development. We don't wish to stifle creativity, and we hope that we can make this experience exciting. If there is any knowledge about lore or the world you don't know, feel free to research, or speak to adminship for clarity.
