Austin Dinapoli III is a member of the dinapoli family, which is something well known to the Reids. For years there was peace between the Dinapolis and the Reids, however, there were always issues every now and then with Austin Dinapoli. Austin had kidnapped one of the Reids, Skyler Jackson, and when she had informed the Reids of the kidnapper being called "A" by a man called Moe Raiders. The Reids purposefully chose to ignore that fact for the sole reason of keeping the peace between the Reids and the Dinapolis, they thought that a war cannot be started due to a low-rank member being kidnapped, especially when no-one took credit for the actual work, no-one had attempted to perform a clear blatant action of disrespect towards the Reids. On the late night of 13th of February, Austin Dinapoli was driving on high speed on the wrong lane of traffic as Dexter Quentin - a member of the Reids - was going down Idlewood bridge, which led to a car accident which ended up with Austin Dinapoli flying out of the vehicle with broken bones and glass all across his body. After a short blackout, Dexter went out of the car as he furiously said "Some motherfucking people!", then radio'd in for the Reids to arrive, which they did a few minutes afterwards. Eventually, Austin Dinapoli entered Jessica Lopez's car by somehow forcing himself into the vehicle and they escaped; only to lead an officer on the scene to impound his v12 vehicle for a hit and run, to later on discover an M4A1 with 2 ammopacks inside. 25 minutes later, Austin Dinapoli shows up at IGS where the group of the Reids were standing, with bandages around his legs and body and appears to have miraculously been completely able to move, run and perform all natural life activities. Austin goes ahead to blame Dexter and disrespectfully says "You're going to get my car out of that impound lot for your uncle Austin.". Alexander Reid tells Austin that he is the one in the wrong, and that he should not be laying the blame on anyone other than himself. Austin then silently stands, watching the band of people then withdraws a knife, stabs Dexter in the throat then proceeds to escape in the same car that helped him earlier. Clearly, Austin Dinapoli III has betrayed his allied faction, and is now a threat to the faction as a whole for doing such a blatant act of harm towards the family, and has went against all their rules that any mafia upholds: Talk to the leader of the allied mafia for permission, if it is not granted, then you cannot make a move. Austin's actions can only be cleansed by one solution: Death. Someone who has clearly attempted to kill a member of the mafia CANNOT be talked to, otherwise it would be promoting other people to commit the same move and expect to be talked to in return. His actions have caved in on himself by making the choice to overrule the Reid's godfather's words.
