  1. Wow. Just. Wow.
  2.
  3. AGDQ2018 came, and sadly went too quickly. I had a fantastic time hanging out with everyone, being on couch for nacho's run, and enjoying the atmosphere of the event! While it is too numerous to list every person who i talked to and hung out with, I'll name as many as i can.
  4.
  5. First off, Nacho and the rest of the Pac-man community (beef, Joe, Trey, and Woofer). We did good this year guys! Here's to hoping for another great run next GDQ! (personally, I'm predicting either PMW3 or PMW1 all levels). Either way, it was great to see all of you again and to meet Nacho, a friend of mine for a long time now.
  6.
  7. Secondly, the pokemon community, mainly Shenanagans and Stump. They were both awesome, and fun to be with! While I did not spend much time with them, it was fun the time I did spend with them.
  8.
  9. While technically part of the pokemon community, Special shoutouts to Halqery, a good friend of mine through Pokemon mystery Dungeon. We had a fun time despite only being able to hang out for like fifteen minutes.
  10.
  11. Ratchet and phoenix, friends of mine in the TY community. It was fun seeing the two of you again, even though we didn't really do much.
  12.
  13. I think that's everyone, but if I had even the slightest conversation with you, then I'm glad I did! Unfortunately, with such little time, I couldn't be with everyone as much as I had wished. This being said, to those of you who donated during PMW2, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I heard a couple of donations specifically thanking me, and that actually almost brought me to tears. I never thought I would ever be at a GDQ, much less have donations made mentioning me. (Specifically, I know I heard Alma make a donation, and Summer). While I might have missed a few, the ones I heard were special, and I'm sure all of them were special.
  14.
  15. Finally, I want to mention some runs that occurred during the marathon that I think every person needs to watch. Just because I don't list a run doesn't make it bad, but these runs are ones you might not think about watching initially. These uns are in no particular order.
  16.
  17. - Pac-Man World 2. If this run wasn't on the list, I think someone would kill me. Nacho's estimate was 47 minutes. i was hoping he would get under 45. He got under 44. That is incredible. Plus, we did the first co-op run of the game by doing Yellow Pac-Marine Two player, One controller (technically meaning i helped run a game at AGDQ!) Without a doubt a fantastic run (Plus, i'm on couch!)
  18.
  19. - Crash N. Sane Trilogy. As many of you know, Im a huge Crash Bandicoot fan! Getting to not only see this run, but see this run open AGDQ was amazing. Great run.
  20.
  21. - Disney's Aladdin. This is a classic game, and has my favorite disney song of all time! What is there not to love!
  22.
  23. - Sonic Mania. I hate to admit this as someone who constantly hates on the sonic series, but damn Sonic Mania looked good! Maybe I'll give the game I try, no promises though (Looking at you Loz! No Promises)
  24.
  25. - Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. While I've never played this game, never seen a run of it before, the run was quite entertaining. Unfortunately, the runner did run into trouble and lost a lot of time in a spot he should not have, but it remained an interesting run regardless.
  26.
  27. - Halo 5, Guardians. I. Love. Halo! MMany don't know this, but I do speedrun halo in addition to my other games -
  28. http://haloruns.com/profiles?user=robthegamer115 - While Halo 5 is not my cup of tea, it's still a fantastic run! I did not realize just how many out of bounds there were!
  29.
  30. - Super Mario 3D World. Another great game for the marathon! Beef is on couch, what more do you need. Seriously though, this has the most epic bid war I've ever seen occur, with the most shocking twist ending ever. I won't spoil it, but it's awesome!
  31.
  32. - Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. Having never played a RE game, i did not know what to expect. What I got was beautiful though. The game is astonishing, and the runner was very skilled, having to do some on the fly routing at some parts due to item drops not going his way.
  33.
  34. - Battletoads. Everyone I hope has heard of battletoads. If not, it was an extremely difficult game for I believe the snes (might be nes, or another console) Either way, it's notorious for its difficulty. And themexicanrunner makes it look like its as easy as any simple game. Well done!
  35.
  36. - Yoshi's Island. The first four way race on my list, it was entertaining! Nothing too special to say, but it was good!
  37.
  38. - Super Mario Sunshine. As many of you know, I consider SMS one of the harder games to speedrun. 120 Shines is difficult, as it has a wide variety of tricks, as well as memorization regarding the location of 240 blue coins. And my friend, AverageTrey, made it look like a piece of cake. I don't know how he does it, but he's gonna be going for the first sub 3 hour SMS 120 shine time soon, so go cheer him on!
  39.
  40. - Superman 64. Battletoads was a hard game. This is a Bad game. Like, wow. This piece of shit actually sold. for real money. Either way, its a broken game that makes it an entertaining speedrun at least.
  41.
  42. - Enviro-bear 2000. Won't even say anything, just watch this. The run is like ten minutes, and its the funniest ten minutes you will have on any day, guaranteed.
  43.
  44. - Dog's Life. While not as funny or stupid as Enviro-bear, it's also high up there. Its the life of a dog as they try to save their girlfriend dog, Daisy. It's...weird. But funny as well.
  45.
  46. - Ori and the blind Forest. Similar to Yoshi's Island, another 4 way race. This was epic, and, while I found it hard to keep up, wwas entertaining. The ending was sweet too.
  47.
  48. - Super Monkey Ball (both run and TAS). Super Monkey Ball is a fantastic speedrun series, as it is easy and difficult at the same time. Plus, the nature of the game makes you want to go fast! It's fantastic!
  49.
  50. - Mega-Man Relay Race. As someone who could care less about mega-man, this was HYPE. It was a close race the entire time, and was fun to watch!
  51.
  52. - Punch-Out and Super Punch-Out. Like battletoads, these two games are known for being difficult. So why not play both with the same set of inputs? This is mental, and a great example of showing someone that you can do whatever you put your heart to.
  53.
  54. - A Link to the Past Randomizer. I've waited several years for a randomizer to get into a GDQ. It finally happened, and it did not disappoint! Second only to nacho's run as my favorite this GDQ, not only did this entertain me, it inspired me. i myself might be trying to do ALttP rando's soon, we shall see.
  55.
  56. - Princess Rescue. It's not what it looks like, it's just a guy in red overalls saving a princess from Bo-I mean a turtle. Seriously, watch this.
  57.
  58. Finally, these are runs that I have yet to see, but i will be watching in full over the next few weeks and I suspect they are good.
  59.
  60. - Battleblock Theater
  61. - Left 4 Dead 2
  62. - Silent Hill
  63. - Strider
  64. - Bubsy II
  65. - Super Mario Galaxy
  66. - Pokemon Black 2/White 2
  67. - Ocarina of Time 100%
  68. - TLoZ No Up + A
  69. - Super Mario World
  70. - Super Dram World 2 (both run and TAS)
  71. - Breath of the Wild
  72.
  73. Thus concludes AGDQ! This week I probably won't stream much as i want to figure out exactly what my next speed plans are, but games Im considering include Galaxy 1/2, Banjo-Kazooie, South park: The Stick of Truth, Pokemon Pearl, Madagascar, and Mario Party stuff. Also, this friday is the most hype game of monopoly you'll ever see. Join myself, Nacho, Loz, Fera, and Alma as we roll the dice and see who ends up rich and who ends up homeless (I'm gonna guess loz will be first out lol) See you guys soon!
