  1. >”Anonymous look, Sir Helios and I finished our block castle.”
  2. >Celestia beams at you with pride as you look over her creation, it’s pretty much a tall stack of blocks.
  3. “Great job Celly.” her grin only gets wider.
  4. >She hugs her teddy, Sir Helios, before trying to place him inside.
  5. >Then Moonie shouts from across the room, ”Mr Bearington, begin the assault!”
  6. >A pillow is magically hurtled across the room right into Celestia’s tower.
  7. >You open your mouth to tell off Moonie before Celly magics the pillow into Moonie’s face.
  8. >While muffling your laughter you decide to step back before the onslaught of pillows fly from either side.
  9. >”How dare you destroy Luna Tower!”
  10. >”You cannot stop the Queen of the Night’s might, I am an unst-” a pillow slams into her face and bowls her over. “Mr Bearington avenge me.” She reaches out to her teddy who just sits there watching, it is a teddy bear after all. Moonie then plays dead and you give a chuckle.
  11. ”Alright girls, time for a bath.”
  12. >Both freeze before turning to you, pillows raised with magic.
  13. >”Anon, surrender now and your demise shall be swift.”
  14. >”I cannot speak for Moonie but I will not harm you if you surrender now.”
  15. >Before you can speak, you’re hit with a barrage of pillows. It doesn’t take too long before you’re stuck under a mountain of fluffy pillows.
  16. “Where did this many damn pillows even come from?”
  17. >”HA-HA! We’re free from Anonymous’ tyranny.”
  18. >”The Queen is triumphant once again.”
  19. >The two fillies bounce around in circles together in glee.
  20. >It’s great they’re getting along but you can’t let this slide. You jump to your feet and start throwing pillows at them.
  21. >They both dive for cover and immediately start sending them back, their magic makes it easier to catch the pillows you throw and you can only throw two at a time, unlike them.
  22. >With two on one and their magic, they manage to cover you under the pillows once again. Also you were taking it easy on them, they’re kids.
  23. >Once you dig your way out of pillow mountain, you notice the two culprits have run off.
  24. >You’re not surprised Moonie would run off but Celestia? You assume it’s just Moonie being a bad influence on her.
  25. >This week alone Celly has been in trouble more times than you can count; messing up Luna’s room, sneaking desserts, not doing as she’s told and that’s not even the tip of the iceberg.
  26. >She was rather obedient when you first started taking care of her but now that her and Moonie have become friends, you’re not sure if that’s the right word to describe it but Celestia has progressively become more of a handful.
  27. >You decide to go wait in the kitchen for them, they’ll try getting some desserts shortly, you know it.
  28. >When you arrive you take a seat off to the side so they won’t see you until they come in and wait and within a few minutes you see the two fillies peek their heads in. You sneak up behind them and reach out slowly.
  29. >Moonie just manages to catch a glimpse of you and runs, leaving Celestia alone to be ensnared in your clutches.
  30. >You miss out on grabbing Moonie but you caught the unaware Celestia who goes into a panic the minute she’s caught.
  31. >”MOONIE! HELP!” Celly wails and flails in your grip.
  32. >”EVERY TYRANT FOR THEMSELVES!” Moonie calls back without slowing or looking back.
  33. >”TRAITOR!” she screams then admits defeat and hangs there in your grip.
  34. “You and I are going to have a talk.”
  35. >She remains quiet as you walk outside into the gardens with her slung under your arm.
  36. >You sit her down on a nearby bench and take your spot next to her then wait in silence for her to speak.
  37. >It takes some time before she utters “I-I’m sorry. I should be behaving... Like this!”
  38. “Well why are you?”
  39. >She doesn’t answer, only looks away into the garden.
  40. “Are you just copying Moonie? I get it, she’s a pretty bad influence on-”
  41. >”No, my actions have nothing to do with her.”
  42. ”Sure.” you can tell she lying, probably trying to cover for her.
  43. >”Okay, a little but not in the way you think.”
  44. “Enlighten me.”
  45. >”W-well, when you and Moonie first arrived to care for me I ensure I was well behaved. I didn’t cause any more trouble for you than you already had but when I saw Moonie acting like...” she pauses as to find the right word.
  46. “A child?”
  47. >”Yes,” she nods, “She used to be so angry and hateful but now that she had a second chance, she’s always so happy.”
  48. “So you wanted to try and change too?”
  49. >”Something like that. If I tell you this, do you promise not to tell a soul under any circumstances?”
  50. >Celestia looks into your eyes with a serious look, you give her a nod and make a Pinkie Promise.
  51. “Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.”
  52. >This elicits a giggle from her, “Thank you... you see when Luna and I were fillies, we had to learn all these manners and formalities so we could be princesses and we had to learn how to run the country that would soon be entrusted to us. We were always so busy and we rarely had time to be children and play, infact Luna was my only friend when I was growing up and I was hers.”
  53. >She looks up to you, as if waiting for you to say something but you sit quietly and listen.
  54. >”I-I thought even if it were only for a while... I’m sorry, Anon.”
  55. >You give a sigh then return to your feet.
  56. “Can’t blame a filly for acting like one. Now come one, we’ve got to go get Moonie.”
  57. >A devilish grin forms across Celly’s face, “Yes, she deserted me and needs to be taught a lesson.”
  58. “And you’ve got an idea for that I’m guessing.”
  59. >”I do.”
  60. >You both walk back to your room, hoping to find Mr Bearington.
  61. >As you get closer to your room you hear a squeal, ”Mr Bearington, they’re coming, hide!” Celestia seems not to hear it as she’s happily bouncing along, clearly eager to get back at Moonie.
  62. >When you enter the room you scan over everything, Moonie isn’t exactly the best at Hide and Seek and sure enough on the ground you see a filly sized lump in your hoodie.
  63. >”I’ve got him.” Celestia rushes over and picks up Mr Bearington in her magical grip.
  64. “Never mind about him.” you reply.
  65. >You tower before the hooded moonie who remarkably has remains perfectly still so you kneel down and pick her up while keeping her wrapped in the hoodie, she struggles for freedom the moment your hands lift her off the floor.
  66. >”Unhand me you oaf,” she cries out still struggling to get out of her cloth cage, “Mr Bearington, save me!”
  67. >”Sorry Moonie, Mr Bearington won’t be saving anyone.” Celestia shows her the captive teddy.
  68. >”Curse you Celestia and I’m going to demote you Mr Bearington, no General should be so easily caught.”
  69. “Yeah, yeah. Come on your majesty, bath time.”
  70. >”As your Queen I order you to cease at once.” You ignore her and instead take her over to the bathroom and proceed to fill the tub.
  71. >”A-as your queen... I beg of you, don’t?” She puts on her best pleading look but it has no effect, cute as she might be.
  72. >Instead you remove her from her cloth prison and into a watery one.
  73. >”Drat!” she announces with crossed forehooves which elicits a giggle from Celestia.
  74. “Don’t laugh, you’re going in too.”
  75. >”WHAT! B-but... Why?” she splutters.
  76. “Because I’m a tyrant remember?”
  77. >Before she can make her escape you pick her up and place her next to Moonie.
  78. >”Traitor.” Moonie mutters.
  79. >”You deserved it, you left me behind.”
  80. “Play nicely or you’ll be sharing a bed too.”
  81. >The two opt for silence while you clean their mane and coat after you towel dry them both.
  82. >When you all head back to the room, the two fillies start bickering just below a whisper.
  83. >You can’t help but roll your eyes and sigh, one moment they’re good friends next they’ll argue like bitter rivals.
  84. >Before you can put a stop to it they grab a pack of crayons and quietly draw on paper together still occasionally bickering about something.
  85. >You stand there in shock, they’ve never just stopped like that. You’ve got to pinch yourself, nope not dreaming. You decide to let them be, it’s not often they’ll play together anyway.
  86. >You take a seat and the exhaustion of the day takes a toll, causing you to doze off briefly. You’re woken by a tug on your leg from Celestia.
  87. >Giving your quick eyes a rub you see a paper being held in Moonie’s mouth.
  88. >”We drew you this.” Celly proudly says as you take the picture from Moonie.
  89. >It’s of the three of you in a park; Sir Helios and Mr Bearington are sword fighting off in the distance, the sun nearly takes up half the page and Moonie is wearing a golden crown.
  90. “I love it, thanks.”
  91. >You lean over and wrap the two in a tight hug that they both return, when you let go you look up at the time, damn it’s late.
  92. “Time for bed I think.”
  93. >They both let out a whine.
  94. >”Can we atleast have a bedtime story?” Celly pleads and Moonie soon joins in, adding her own demanding twist.
  95. >”Yes, we demand a bedtime story.”
  96. >You frown at Moonie and as she gives you a sheepish grin, “Sorry, may we please?”
  97. >Like you could honestly say no to those faces.
  98. “Alright then.”
  99. >The two fillies jump and cheer before speeding into their beds. You take a seat in between them both and read them ‘Good Night Moon, Good Morning Sun’. It’s kind of funny that they have a book like this in the castle. Not a moment before the book is over, they both fall asleep.
  100. “Goodnight girls,” you say before leaving the room with a smile.
