Dryn Descrip

The very head of this long bladed lance is made of a rare fiery platinum, forged by the hands of those with draconic blood in their veins, and infused with the powdered claw of a Hel beast's tooth. As if that were not enough, it is drawn into a fine, deadly point with either side honed to hair-splitting sharpness. Though normally a steely color, when tilted to catch the light just so, it becomes a deep shade of carnelian that is seldom heard of naturally occurring- and natural it is, not dyed or painted. Wounds sliced open with this implement are cauterized nearly immediately.

Just below the impressive tip rests something no less impressive; the heart of a newborn star is socketed into a metal ring, oscillating in its magically bound confines. It glows a matching red and thrums with obvious, potent power drawn from the heavens themselves. Its color bleeds into the air in a trail behind it with each swing and thrust of the lance.

Potent cosmic energies are channeled all throughout the weapon, from tip to tail, through a series of interlocked runes that run the length of the haft. They are foreign symbols, or certainly none that are commonly known, all drawn and gilded to imbue the entirety of the weapon with the infant start as its energy source.

The spear is a symbol, of station, of an entire bloodline, and it cannot simply be held by any passing hand. Only a Grimmore may wield it and be imbued by the power of such brightly burning heavenly bodies.

In very, very tiny script, under the lip of the edge where the head of the weapon meets its handle, the letter 'W' is etched in a shade of deep crimson.
