Kid Anon and Mommashy part 2

>It's been almost two weeks since you arrived in Equestria....Ponyville to be exact. And this gentle horse seems to have no intention of getting rid of you.
>Just the same, You are a child...A child now? or always a child. You couldn't quite pinpoint it anymore. What you do know that it's been an easy yet rocky start.
>In the beginning it started to annoy you just due to the absurdity of her kindness and you started to silently try to distance yourself from her after awhile.
>But as time went on and that empty feeling became more vivid, you started to try to get her attention anyway you could. This wasn't always a good thing as you seem to be bested at times by a certain rabbit who at times made you out to be the bad guy.
>But in the end Fluttershy seemed to care most about the welfare and loving of all her animal friends, including yourself.
>You never ventured far from her cottage, afraid of anything that might try to kill you. Even though Fluttershy tells you its safe aslong as you don't venture into the forest. You instead invested your time in helping her out. You wanted to show your gratitude afterall, and perhaps get on Angel's goodside. It didn't work all the time, but he didn't seem of an evil sort, just jealous.
>Fluttershy was also happy to tell you about her friends and Ponyville itself. And seemed to be happy to introduce you one day.
>Of course as the new day winds through, a question irks in your mind. Nobody...or..nopony as you've learned to say..atleast outloud, she has mentioned fits the description of the odd being in the picture with her. And you were curious as to what that was all about
>At this point in time you were dusting her home, or doing your best at it. Fluttershy was always getting nervous whenever you stood on anything "wobbly" to reach higher spots. But you always insisted that it was fine. But you always felt a sense of releif as Flutters kept a frequent eye on you, ready to catch you as you fall.
>As you climbed down the stepladder, which was clearly made for horses, you begin to dust at and around the picture. And begin a small chat with Fluttershy.
>You begin by asking a question about this "Rainbow Dash". From the friends she had told you about, this one seemed abit off to you. Like a faint memory of a douchy jock. You ask her if she would even care to like someone as "odd" as yourself.
>Fluttershy cringed abit, you were naive to it. But Fluttershy felt bad of ever giving you any idea you were different from anything else in Equestria. She could never find a way to get the idea out however. She floated over to a desk and opened a drawer to a scrapbook and showed you pictures of her.
>She tells you that she can be rough around the edges, but she was sure you and her would get along.
>She began to show me pictures of Rainbow Dash and her exploits. It didn't thrill you too much, definatly seemed like the judgemental type. You asked her about the rainbow mane. It seemed off for a horse to have one....then again..she was blue.
>She seemed puzzled by the question, then again. You never really told her that you were not from this world either. And she didn't seem to pick up hints either.
>Her answer itself was basic and seemed like common sense. That all ponies were different in color and cutie mark.
>Cutie mark?
>Your mind ventures from asking about the picture as you ask about cutie marks. To you, it sounded obscenely girly, and yet. It seemed important enough to get some sort of explanation. mainly due to the fact that your absurd thoughts would make you burst into hysterical laughter.
>Fluttershy smiles, it seems she atleast figured out you were new to all this and showed you various pictures of her and her friends. Pointing out thier odd tatoos and thier meaning, and then going on again about the rest of her friends.
>Special talents...this made you ponder seriously for a moment, although it still seemed girly. You internally thought what yours would be. hopefully not dusting.
>You also began to think about what the rest of her friends must be like. Especially this Pinkie Pie. Seemed like she'd be a great pony to pal around with and play games.
>And as your mind wandered, you remember why you started the conversation in the first place.
>You point towards the picture of the fiery eyed snake demon and ask who it might be.
>To your surprise, she smiled. You thought she might have been ashamed of whatever the hell he is, but then you realise she wouldn't keep a picture of him otherwise so blatantly visible.
>She giggles to herself at how she could possibly forget to mention him.
>She tells you that it's a very special friend of hers, one she taught the meaning of friendship. You almost gag abit at how fruity it sounded.
>She continues, explaining him to be Discord, the spirit of chaos.
>The last part almost escapes you. You fall silent in rapid thought. But then you realise she must be speaking of his title.
>You ask her about it, and ask her why a super nice pony like her would hang out with someone so.....crazy.
>She frowns at you, and immediatly lectures you how it isn't nice to judge others like that without atleast meeting them. You nod and apologize. Sometimes it was hard being too goody goody...but...for Fluttershy, You'd protect her like you would your own mother.
>Fluttershy is quick to forgive you and to add a quip how you should always give someone a chance. However her next words baffle you, as it seems when she said "the spirit of chaos". It was indeed quite literal.
>You don't know what to say now. Though it seemed the "don't judge" lecture was given by just the right person....pony. As you'd never expected this kindly shy pony to be friends with as she explained.....seemed to be a real life reality bending god. Your curiosity was peaked. You didn't know why, but you really wanted to meet him the most.
>You ask Fluttershy about meeting him. But, she seems abit evasive about him. It seems she wasn't all too keen of you meeting him. You wondered why, but each question with an answer that seemed to make it seem like things wouldn't hit off so well.
>She explains to you she'd like you to meet her friends first. Well, two of them atleast. Today infact. You had not heard this before...was she lieing?
>That thought quickly passes your mind, she wouldn't lie. But maybe it was a diversionary tactic. You inquire who they are.
>She rubs her other hoof shyly and says in a soft gentle tone that it is Rainbow Dash And Pinkie Pie. And it was supposed to be a surprise for you given the interest you've shown in meeting them.
>You stopped and thought for a moment. If it was a diversion. It worked. You had been wanting to meet them....well maybe not a full excitement for Rainbow Dash. But it's a start. You figured they were probably free of whatever they do to come visit.
>You also wonder why Fluttershy seemed so....motherly towards you..over others even. Perhaps Angel's jealousy wasn't completely unfounded.
>Your thought process is interrupted however when you notice she is giving you a soft yet stern face, a very rare sight indeed, though atleast it wasn't atall intimidating.
> She begins to not even demand, but just ask that I be in my best behaviour, be nice, and just relax. assuring you she won't let anything bad happen. You salute and look high up. Mostly so she can't see your smile as you stifen a giggle. She can't do scary very well.....atleast you think she can't.
>And so the waiting game began. You watched as Fluttershy expertly set a table for the guests to come. You opted to help her, in which she accepted. Though anything you help with that is safe is always welcome in her eyes.
>After the prep work is done, you decide to sit on one of the seats. It was actually pretty neat as you looked across the table. It was like a tea party for little girls. You smile for a few more minutes before realising you are taking pleasure in something that girls do. But....you did want to meet more colored horses. And by the way Fluttershy's stories go, they all seem to have been in some rather "cool" situations.
>Fluttershy looks at you and notes your enthusiasm with another of her warming smiles. You look back at her and return with a smile of your own. And venture back into your thoughts. Wondering if Fluttershy herself might have a side you've never seen. Some of her stories seem to imply it. Well, maybe her friends could shed some light...if there is light to be shed.
>And finally, the knock on the door came. You duck abit. And shiver. Why? you were waiting for this moment after all.
>You watch as Fluttershy goes to open the door. As your enthusiasm is quickly replaced with dread at the realization all you have known since you got here was Fluttershy and her stories. And now two strangers were going to meet you, were they just as kind? or were you just lucky to have run into the nicest pony ever?
>You hide under the table, under the cloth as you hear Fluttershy greet the guests. One voice seems that of an athletic tomboy....Rainbow Dash no doubt....And the other...wow..alot more energetic and high pitched than you thought it would be...definatly must be Pinkie Pie.
>You crawl towards the other end of the table. Lifting the table cloth abit to get a view of the ponies without being sighted. You can hear what must be Rainbow Dash...complaining? Something about...Wonderbolts?....the hell is a Wonderbolt? You aren't getting much info other than they sound like...a rock group maybe? Seemed to atleast been some sour run in of sorts on her way over. You don't notice Pinkie Pie however.
>You feel odd all of a sudden. Like there is a presence suddenly nearby. And in your left ear. you hear a question.
>you hear "Hey....What are we hiding from?"
>You turn to the right to see a very pink pony happily smile at you. However, you don't smile back. you get up, smack your head on the bottom of the table and smack face first on the floor. Causing the table to shake.
>You groan and rub your head, that really hurt. But thoughts of being under a table do kinda vanish when a pony SOMEHOW got next to you without alerting any of your senses.
>You look back at her, still rubbing your hurt noggin. She...is just smiling at you, and holding a present in her hooves towards you. You take a glance at it and before you can say a word, she puts a hoof to your lips and whispers that both you and her are apparantly hiding together from something....even though you were hiding from them, She then whisperly introduces herself and says the present she holds is for you.
>She removes her hoof, at first you just stare. And the moment you try to speak she puts her hoof back on your mouth. And says she doesn't know who she and you are hiding from, but it might be best if you both keep quiet.
>Again she removes her hoof. You stay motionless for a moment. And when you try to speak again. She again puts her hoof on your mouth and stares. But she doesn't say a thing.
>She then giggles to herself and mentions she forgot what she was going to say.
>You put your face back towards the ground. Well, She is definatly different from Fluttershy.
>The cloth is suddenly lifted from the left side. As a Blue Pony, who must be Rainbow Dash. looked inquisitively at the both of you, asking you both what you are doing under the table. But before you could say a word. Pinkie states they were hiding from.....something.
>You groan , but stay silent on the fact you initially were hiding from them.
>You and Pinkie crawl out from under the table. She leaves the present on the table, it seems to have something written on a tag. But before you could even read it. You notice Rainbow Dash suddenly eyeing you, staring at you from top to bottom.....What kind of tea party is this?
>She looks back at Fluttershy, who is quickly setting up the last of the food and tea. And asks her a rather insulting question.
>"Hey Fluttershy, are you suuuuuure this thing is smart?"
>The hell? Not even two seconds and she's questioning your intelligence. Not to mention she's eyeing you like your a zoo animal.
>Fluttershy moves close to you and stares at Rainbow Dash, she didn't seem to pleased herself at Rainbow Dash's comment either. She...well you couldn't tell if she was snapping at Rainbow Dash with her soft tone. But her words to her comforting to you. She reminded Rainbow Dash that everyone here is equal, and added that you were plenty smart.
>You decide to chime in abit arrogantly. Mentioning you also know long division.
>Though you noticed Rainbow Dash's eyes widen the moment you spoke. She seemed immediatly apologetic, but her words were odd. Mentioning she didn't realise you could talk or understand her.
>At that moment Pinkie chimed in mentioning Fluttershy did say you could talk and understand pony.
>Pony was it? You figured it was english all along. Guess it's called Pony in Equestria.
>Rainbow Dash seemed to have understood it as just another animal that could speak and understand Fluttershy herself. Rainbow Dash then frowns and apologizes, looking down. It was obvious she felt ashamed. But still.
>You look up for a second to think. And decide to accept the apology. It did sound sincere. And you thought it best to try to have good relations with any and all of Fluttershy's friends.
>Fluttershy does leave Rainbow Dash with abit of an obvious lesson. The one you pretty much learned of not judging one until you get to know them, with an added wether they could talk pony or not.
>It was cute watching Rainbow Dash being apologetic. Just from first impressions you could tell this was not a normal thing for her. And you thank whatever is the god here that there doesn't seem to be any kind of actual racism. since your pretty much an alien.
>With the food preped and the tea ready, everyone. Including yourself sat at thier seats. You noted how each of them sat, It was almost like a pet on a chair. It was quite humorous to you.
>Rainbow Dash herself didn't seem to keen on how much of a civil tea party Fluttershy was trying to create. Maybe she still is frustrated about whatever she was moaning about.
>You look to Pinki....You almost gasp. She somehow stealthily...Put on a top hat and monocle. She started speaking how the tea was simply divine. And you just sat there stumped as she giggled every now and again. Atleast she seemed friendly.
>Rainbow Dash look towards you and asked waved. You look across the table and wave back. She apologises to you again and introduces herself...well properly wouldn't be the word as she grandly proclaims herself to be the best flyer and hero of Equestria. You almost roll your eyes, and simply introduce yourself as Anon.
>Rainbow Dash is also quick to ask you a question. She starts to inquire about your past. You were sure Fluttershy had to have told her your memories were swiss cheese. But it seemed she wanted to hear it from the source. Every question she asked made your heart heavier as you slinked lower to the table.
>You hear a soft noise aswell, coming from Fluttershy. It seems she's trying to tell Rainbow Dash to politely stop asking so many uncomfortable questions. But...she isn't being very assertive about it. Why? She seemed fine before. Maybe she didn't want to seem too overbearing? But...
>...Suddenly, Pinkie yells a loud "STOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!". And everyone, including yourself just freeze. Pinkie waits, then smiles, and states Fluttershy is trying to say something.
>You hear Fluttershy gulp abit, you seem surprised at this. You never got an actual hint that she was actually shy and perhaps even abit of a pushover. Other than a few occasions and your first run in with her.
>Fluttershy lifts her head abit and calmly suggests maybe some more pleasent for everyone....everypony...conversation.
>Pinkie Pie immediatly raises her hoof with an "oohhh ohhh ohhh me me pick me!"
>Rainbow Dash facepalms....hoof...and states to her she could just talk, it isn't a schoolhouse afterall.
>Pinkie turns and beams a smile at you. You started to dread whatever would come out of her mouth. As she seemed like a crazy bomb ready to detonate.
>But to your surprise, her question is something you weren't expecting. As she just asks you if you want to be friends. Friends? But you just met her...you also started to get a started to get a strange feeling. These ponies seemed TOO nice...well maybe not Rainbow Dash. Finally you look down, it all seems surreal. Maybe it was just because you were a charity case that she asked such a question. A lost child does usually gain sympathy. Even apparantly if its not even of the same species.
>You look at Pinkie with a frown and ask her to stop faking. You tell everyone at the table the only reason theres a lunch now was because you were not only a charity case, but possib...no..definatly the only one of your kind in Equestria. A spectacle. That's why Fluttershy took pity on you, that's why Rainbow Dash is asking questions of you, and that's why Pinkie Pie just suddenly wants to be your friend. You yell this at them with just a quick storm of emotions that came in a flash.
>You slam at the table and get up, teary eyed. You hadn't been here long but you weren't used to being taken care of so lovingly. And the fact you just raided your caretaker's home should have been a dead give away something was amiss. You bet her other friends were going to treat you like a rare animal at a zoo. Why else invite her friends just to meet this "odd animal".
>You make a break for the door as Fluttershy's voice becomes audible, you ignore it completely. It seems Rainbow Dash. And especially Pinkie Pie seemed extremely stunned at your sudden outburst. They probably didn't care. You lost what you couldn't remember, and now seemed like a sideshow. One of the reasons you even stayed was because you didn't want to be alone. But you didn't want this either. You wantec your mom...whoever...she was.
>You cry as you run, and trip several times onto the dirt road. You look into the distance and see the town of ponyville....You couldn't go there...The forest....no...you were sure enough what Fluttershy said about it was true. You were stuck. You curled into a ball and sobbed...and sobbed
>You blink every now again in your mad sobbing, hoping to see a building. another human. Hoping to be transported back. Hoping it was a nightmare.
>Suddenly you feel yourself in a warm furry embrace. You don't look, and gently cry out "mom?".
>You hear soft singing, a lullaby....It was Fluttershy. And...her lullaby...it was full of tears. Why? Why? Why was she even crying for you. You've only known her for two weeks and she acts like your her goddamn kid. You couldn't figure it out. The concept escaped you.
>You look to her face, she has tears in her eyes. You swallow hard. You had to know...and so you ask. You ask her why does she care so much?
>She stops her lullaby, and looks at you. She doesn't hesitate. And explains to you that all her friends are like family to her. Every single one. She only wanted you to feel more comfortable around others, and with a big hope. That they would welcome you with open arms.
>This made you think, you looked away from her. You asked about Pinkie. Nobody asks anyone to be thier friend THAT quickly.
>Again no hesitation. She massages your head with her hoof as she explains thats how she is with everyone, she really was that friendly.
>And before you could ask about Rainbow Dash. You can here her sigh, explaining she can be alittle insensitive. But she was genuinely interested in meeting you.
>You tell her it's because you were human. That's gotta be it.
>Fluttershy finally hesitated. It seems either you finally guessed right, or she wasn't sure. And in your mind. If one pony came for the human, All would.
>Suddenly you hear Rainbow Dash's voice. She actually confirms that being the reason as you look at her general direction. You can suddenly feel an intense anger. But before you can react. She explains that was also just the smallest portion of her reasoning. "I had to make sure you were on the up n' up mostly. I wanted to make sure you weren't doing anything suspicious that would hurt Fluttershy."
>You stopped to think....It...seemed plausible. You know they had been friends for a long time. "Now come on, stop crying. Give Fluttershy a hug already and let's finish eating, this is getting too mushy for me"
>You think a small thought. To continue this tantrum now would be foolish. You may have had your reasons to beileive what you beileived. But you had absolutly no reason not to beileive them. You hug Fluttershy, and apologize. Again she seems to accept it without hesitation. She gets up and stands to your side. Letting you use her as leverage to stand up from your shattered state.
>It seems this world was perfect...well not perfectly perfect. But it was nice. You wonder if what Fluttershy even told you was true about the dangerous forest, or of cruel beings like changelings. How could such things exist in such a happ....you then suddenly realise Pinkie Pie isn't in the group.
>You don't inquire however. But you did start to feel bad. Perhaps the reason she was so happy was because she was also overly sensitive...you felt like a louse. She was probably sobbing in the house, wondering what she did wrong.
>As the three of you enter. You spot a sad faced Pinkie standing by...an odd string...just hanging about. She asks if everypony is ok. She looked so worried. Everyone replied with a yes, Fluttershy mentioning maybe some things need to be worked out. You say nothing, you just want to apologize. But before you can say a word...
>"THEN LET'S PARTY!!!!!" Pinkie yells as she pulls the string, turning pretty much the entire house into super party central. This seems to immediatly put Rainbow Dash in a good mood, while nearly giving poor Fluttershy a heart attack.
>Pinkie hops over to you and asks are you ready for a super awesome four pony party?.....four...you tell her you're not a pony. But her reaction...like everyother, was unpredictible and spotaneous as she gives you an evil eye and murmurs.
>You step back, the hell? Why was she acting like this? "But...I'm not a.." but her gaze and murmurs intensify with each hesitation.
>You finally give up, and agree as she immediatly smiles and slaps a party hat on you.
>And so the party went on, Fluttershy didn't seem to keen on the sudden excitement. But she warmed up to it. And you all had a blast. Though you had a hard time beileiving a few of Rainbow's praises of Fluttershy. Stare down a Cocktrice? really? You couldn't see it.
>After the party was over and it was you and Fluttershy again. She began to clean up the mess, telling you not to worry about it.
>You decide to oblige that request this time. You were too pooped to do anything else.
>You however, remember that Pinkie did leave you that present.
>It's still exactly where it was. Neatly wrapped in pink paper with an equally pink bow....and...what's this? a card?
>"For Anon, I hope we can be super duper buper friends!!!"
