First and foremost, I've been praised in voice chat by plenty of people for that decision. I feel that getting the disk implanted is someone what powergay so I usually teach someone surgery and pick somebody who doesn't want to give it to me. I think it balances it out and I've been told by a lot of people this is a good thing. I dunno. Plus its funny. Its never caused an issue. Furthermore, every single shift I see the Captain(?|F) giving away their clothing to assistants and other heads of staff. It's rare I'm denied this coat. It happens so much and I haven't seen any admin consistancy in saying it's wrong to do so so I don't see it as a problem. After all, what I usually do is label all of my clohing 'HoP coat, HoP hat, HoP etc' to make it obvious but I haven't had time this shift. If the issue is with the sword I can put that back but again I've never received a complaint about holding onto it. In the past I've taken the sword after finding that the Captain raped an assistant to death in their office and nobody had issue.

It's VERY much against the rules and you can't use the excuse that you've seen someone else do it. It is VERY powergay to force A MINER(?|F) to give you surgery, the doctor was literally going to do it for you, but you pushed them asside and picked a specific crewmemeber to do it. That's about two rule breaks over you getting worked up over revs.

If there's no one available or you have tangible IC reason to not trust them, sure. Not my place to tell you to go commit sudoku-by-antagonist. But this round far as I know there was zero reason for you to be having a miner friend take over surgery and shove out a doctor when it's their job to do surgeries, just because you wanted a nuclear authentication disk implanted which isn't even standard behavior even if people do it here and there. You doing stuff like taking the sword in one circumstance is really different from this one when you're doing it for no reason. But if you want to respond with what I'd personally take as a threat to have the community fight your battles for you when you are breaking at least one thing we enforce on every head of staff player, that being do not take extraneous gear as acting head without a good IC reason for needing it as the not-real-captain and not having the captain(?|F) give it to you, as well as unironically kicking a doctor out of surgery to have a miner (they're a miner, they're not medbay, it's not their job, why are you doing this) do surgery on you because you have whatever reason to not trust the guys who's supposed to do this, you might want to stop while you're head. While we do understand certain circumstances leading to deviations from command policy, given the fact that obviously we don't enforce the rules to the absolute T and bwoink someone the moment they deviate from any small detail, this entire conversation I see here is absolutely, absolutely unacceptable. If you have a problem with Dap telling you to stop, you take it to staff-forums and/or forums. You don't NEED a sword to be captain,(?|F) you don't NEED a coat to be a captain, you need the spare ID, admins generally won't give a shit if you bring a valuepak cartridge given you're now captain and of its utility, obviously nuke disk/pinpointer are valid, headset, etc. Hell I take the hand tele and I know others do, now THAT I can say admins are sometimes inconsistent on but it's been acceptable last i checked. You were told multiple times by admins to not grab extraneous items. Punishment is up to Dapnee(?|F) as I honestly just wanted to address the ridiculous things I saw with your attitude, personally it isn't the end of the world for me to have to tell someone to stop grabbing captain clothing for no reason unlike what some people think but come on you've been told numerous times already you should remember this the rules are long but they are not so long you can't remember them. Stuff like this is easy to recall and make a habit of. As for the surgery: It's both mine and Dapnee's opinion that behavior like what you just did is detrimental for the server. TECHNICALLY (I'm too lazy to insert html tags to bold things this time around) it's under powergaming in the rules section, yes, but we're telling you here and now that you can not have other people do the surgery for you when doctors are willing and wanting to help. You can teach people surgery in other ways. With things handled on a case by case basis, in this case I don't think anyone on staff is going to object to say this is ridiculous. Tell doctors to teach people surgery, teach them yourself, etc etc, but using medbay's surgery table and then kicking doctors out of the room when they want to use their own surgery room to do surgery as per their job is unacceptable.
