- Experimental Protein Bars #1
- Ingredients
- 1/3 cup black walnuts
- 3 & 2/3c rolled oats
- 1/4tsp salt Himalayan
- 3/4c brown sugar
- 1 can apricot halves in lite syrup drained well
- 2tbsp molasses
- 1c mixed dried fruits
- 1/2tsp cinnamon
- 1/2c peanut butter
- Instructions
- Start with nuts and 1 Cup oats in food processor and pulverize to powder. Then add all remaining ingredients minus 1/2cup of the mixed dried fruits. Process till very well combined. Spread mix onto parchment paper (I laid it in a cookie sheet). Sprinkle last 1/2cup mixed fruit over top and press into mix well (I used a spatula). Planning on refrigerate overnight, uncovered and will cut into at least 12 bars.
