Maria's vision eventually began to return to her in the middle of the room. She may recall managing to kill off Thaddeus in a recent all-out fight at Taslien -- or at least, managing to use all of her power and slam him directly with it, before passing out from the exhaustion it always brings her. She'd soon hear fingers tapping upon a stone surface. Her blurred vision eventually manages to take in the view of everything around her:

The room is essentially a throne room, shaped entirely out of marble. A wide, circular chamber with a smooth, tiled stone as the floor, along with a pair of large, cushioned chairs at the opposite of the room; both of which were occupied. Maria could only recognize one person though, and despite the fact that she'd likely know the Apostles were on the rise, she probably never really imagined the idea of seeing Kane alive again. The woman on the opposite throne didn't really look happy with her. Another tall, shapely figure dressed in a very loose red and black striped shirt stood next to her, wearing a mask with a single horn jutting out of the forehead.



Kane's elbow rested upon the side of his throne, closed fist resting into his cheek. His steely eyes showed very little emotion, and if anything, looked somewhat bored. "Welcome. Congratulations, you managed to defeat a Bishop."

"You should thank Alice for reviving you." The woman said.
