Hello Leaders/globals. As of the other day i was a mod in the overused room, in  fact i was a staff member in the overused room for around 3 years. I recently found out that i was demoted for reasons that seem to be rather unfair if i may say so myself. Over the last few years i came on virtually every day for several hours to help out the overused chat and i enjoyed doing so. In fact i still do. My primiry concern would be the issues regarding my demotion and i request that i get my mod status back. I think this is simply a big misunderstanding. While i will admit i might mess around a bit too much please hear me out. I was informed that one of the reasons for my demotion had to do with joke muting. In truth its been nearly a year since ive done such a thing when i learned joke muting was no longer allowed. Even then i dont just simply mute someone for the sake of doing so, thats simply silly. I took pride in being a staff member of the ou room and i feel cheated that after all my hard work getting to moderator this is how i lose my status. not quiting mons, not stepping down because i no longer want to mod but because the globals and leaders of Pokemon showdown behind my demotion decided to make a case against me behind my back without any of you giving me a warning to change in the first place. Lets say you have a job. You're boss sees that you the employee is messing up and or having problems preforming said job. The professional thing for the boss to do is to approch the employee and explain to them what they are doing wrong and how they can improve so they dont get let off. If you fire the employee without giving them said warning that is simply not professional. Of course They are the boss so they have the right to do so but then the employee lacks a justifiable cause to really be fired because they were given no notice that such a thing was going to happen. What worries me more is that the overused staff are completely in the dark about this and you only let the room owners in on the situation because you probably know that the staff will have my back. If you were to ask any of the staff members they would say that i was a good mod but had some hiccups along the road. I worked damn hard to get to where i was putting time in during classes and all and i would NEVER squander this. I may say some questionable things but id never intentionally be rude to a user. If they joke around i may joke back to them but i would never bully anyone. The fact that i cant even keep my roomvoice is simply very cruel. I love pokemon showdown and its community. I want to continue to moderate and i swear to god i will not make the same mistakes as before. Just please give me this chance and if i do somthing wrong...Dont keep it a secret. You can only improve if you know what you need improvement on and as globals its youre job to keep a eye on us just as much as it is the room owners. If you make a decision about this you should be profesional. I may have my problems but for what its worth i was a really good mod and i want to continue helping the room out. If you choose to keep me in the dark of what i actualy did wrong and not give me a second chance thats fine. Just know im not giving up and i will get mod back one day even if it takes me a few years to do so. I took pride in being a mod in the most dominent tier and i absolutely loved helping people with teams and the like. Dont take this away from me because of a misunderstanding. I beg of you just talk it over. Ask the ou staff how they feel about me. Dont lose a good staff member over a possibly rash decision. thank you and i truely hope you actualy take the time to read this and not trash this because i really care.
