  1. [20:32] "I have many pieces, thankfully, hm?" With a grin playing at his lips, he proceeded to lead the way and they headed into the prison of Huangzhou. The stench of dry blood was almost immediate on the nose; Yu Heifang had killed several guards that had attempted to chain him down in a blind fit of rage, but enough struggle had left the man encased in thick, iron bars. And an anti-magic restraint for added measure.
  2.
  3. He looks like a rabid animal. The telltale signs of the curse are there, the black ichor that leaks from his eyelids and lips, taking them a shade paler.
  4.
  5. "Ah, Yu. You've not bathed in weeks. Terrible."
  6.
  7. "Magdalen here is going to fix you, and you'll be good and proper in no time."
  8. (Isaac Shimasu)
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10.
  11. [20:37] Weeks? Weeks?! It has been months! Nonetheless, the Heifang had no will, or even the voice to complain. Not even truly have a command over his own mind.
  12.
  13. The Shogun's words were just but quiet whispers in his mind.
  14.
  15. And amidst the dark cloaking his cell, Yu flashed his eyes open. Hues of silver cast upon Isaac, then to Magdalen.
  16.
  17. Not even a low grumble, but cold silenced filtered the air. And despite the anti-magic restraint, the venomous presences of the Heifang still filled the atmosphere.
  18.
  19. Chains that shackled him against the wall crackled, as his gaze fell upon Magdalen.
  20. (Yu Heifang)
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. [20:43] Magdalen can't help but look honestly surprised at that declaration;
  24.
  25. "You do, brother? May I have some? It would really help my work..."
  26.
  27. Then, once inside, she notes the form of the Fourfold. There's several blinks, her already pale face momentarily becoming ghostly at the tell-tale signs of Sor's brand of corruption.
  28.
  29. She'd not seen it like this, firsthand before. Fresh. She heard quite a bit, however.
  30.
  31. Regardless, steeling herself with a clenched jaw, the immaculate, inhumanly graceful Magdalen unwraps something from behind her - a long, narrow staff, the linens and silks that cover it set aside, to reveal the pale, iridescent-aura'd tool.
  32.
  33. As spotless and beautiful as she.
  34.
  35. "Brother, may I ask for him to be brought closer - and restrained securely, as well...?"
  36.
  37. There's little in the way of speaking to Yu as he's in that poisonous, sickly state. Simply readying herself...
  38. (Magdalen Elisheva)
  39. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  40.
  41. [20:46] "Of course! Here you are," prying out a leather satchel of translucent, spirit-forged metal, he carefully passes the bag over to Magdalen and then makes his way forward. In his current state - starved, weak, and sapped of his magic, Yu wasn't a threat.
  42.
  43. Not harmless, of course.
  44.
  45. But not a threat for the demi-angel.
  46.
  47. With a faint, reassuring smile, he grabs ahold of the chains and pulls and pries, tugging the bound man out of the jail cell. Then he's offered to Magdalen, a hand to either shoulder. "Just the void mark - I'd like to keep any other nasties lurking in his soul. It gives him character..."
  48. (Isaac Shimasu)
  49. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  50.
  51. [20:52] Not a threat indeed, for as he was tugged along by Isaac, his feet had not enough to carry him. He simply fell to a kneel before Magdalen. Even food was fed to him only enough to keep him alive. But, not enough to give him strength to fight. To do so would risk not only non-magis, but the Heifang's own as well.
  52.
  53. However, blind fury was evident on his eyes despite the cold features.
  54.
  55. He glared at Magdalen, as if to tell her to keep at bay. To resist against that seemingly spotless tool, like it was a divine cross of Kraus, to keep most evil away.
  56. (Yu Heifang)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [21:15] The metal is stowed, though one piece is held in the Atmosian-blooded's left hand, the translucent ingot shimmering gently, while that spotless tool is held in the other.
  60.
  61. There's a single nod given towards Isaac, though her gold-stained eyes are focused on the Heifang! Concentration has them narrow subtly, running down from his own wild eyes and cold expression, to a point in the center of his chest.
  62.
  63. That was - after all, where Sors seemed to favor when he marked someone.
  64.
  65. That staff of her own creation is held up, right hand aligned with the two-thirds point, subtle grooves not seen, but felt, where her fingers are placed. White-gold light streams down the subtle tattooed lines upon her fingers, moving to interact with the cluster of runes and wires that separate capacitor, Conversion system, and Spire Shard!
  66.
  67. Connections are activated, that divine-steeped energy pouring from the shard, into the capacitor in the center of the staff - evidenced byiridescent light, subtle traces, pouring gently back into that right hand.
  68.
  69. "Dylerrun created weapons..."
  70.
  71. She states quietly, that staff raised, mana flowing from capacitor to Conversion system, the bottom-third exterior of the staff lighting up with a brilliant viridian rune-network! The staff is gently touched to the ingot in her left hand, the item flicking as a wave of light ripples through it, as though it where water! Her left hand moves away, as it moves into the empty space between the Gilded Artificer and the madman!
  72.
  73. "Iosefka created artifacts..."
  74.
  75. Now unoccupied, her left hand comes to rest at the one-thirds mark, holding the staff in two hands, white-gold mana drifting from the tattoos, to run down into a similar cluster of wires and connective runework to connect the capacitor with the focus!
  76.
  77. Before it's fully activated, the white-feathered would take a half-step forwards suddenly, to press the viridian-glowing bottom of the staff to the other's chest in a sudden, almost violent poke!
  78.
  79. But instead of pain, that same rippling pulse of energy runs through him - but it's not so much that it's an energy washing over him, more so, that he's becoming the energy. Life quickly feels hazy and indistinct, while there's a powerful current around him, his form shimmering and held together by the staff's control, now. He'd likely be dead if it didn't keep him together, floating, submersed.
  80.
  81. Both him and the ingot of metal float oddly, the most miniscule drift exhibited, while the top third of that staff activates, with the subtle tendrils of iridescent light that travel down fingers! The staff's faint, rainbow-white aura illuminates, the masterpiece's perfect diamond head pointed towards the floating sebathium, first!
  82.
  83. The metal explodes outwards, rippling and dancing as strands, tendrils, and coils, a movement of that staff directing, like a masterful conductor, the flow towards Yu!
  84.
  85. And once that staff's diamond head is pointed at his chest, his body brightens - his circuits and pathways of mana glowing radiant, through his translucent form! The master of mana-flow has that energy-formed metal surge - pressing into his painless, floating form. Filling him up as the silvery currents begin to travel down his pathways, dancing through his very being until they reach the end - and beginning - of that being!
  86.
  87. The Soul, itself. Riding faint glimmers of that iridescent light, the mana-formed metal pause for a moment, at the centermost ending of circuits... Before sinking and surging into him - like concrete, filling in what was missing, what was taken away by Sor's mark!
  88.
  89. And then some. Filling his scarred soul, those glimmering tendrils worming and worming through him - until they're gone, and the contents of that translucent metal is utterly within the now steeled young man!
  90.
  91. The first thing he'd hear back when he returns to the physical world, with the alighting of the first-half of the staff's viridian de-Conversion rune system, is the declaration;
  92.
  93. "I create... Miracles!"
  94.
  95. And he, with that armored soul, would flop to the ground. Whole again! And then some. Sor's mark no longer has any impact on him, and it never will again.
  96.
  97. He's been improved.
  98. (Magdalen Elisheva)
  99. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  100.
  101. [21:16] She entered, perhaps a little late, only to hear Magdalen exclaim she created miracles. She blinked.
  102. (Reito Shimasu)
  103. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  104.
  105. [21:21] Throughout it all, Isaac was the silent observer - while he knew about Magdalen's studies in passing, the demi-angel was about to witness the culmination of her arts here tonight. The long, heavy staff is held in both hands, and Yu is transmuted into pure energy, where she finds the curse that had been dealt in this life and dispells it.
  106.
  107. And of course, the black winged demi-angel is nothing short of impressed. With slightly rounded out eyes and a smile, he says,"That was... fantastic. It is tragic that you are yet unmarried, Magdalen."
  108.
  109. His focus turned to Yu, afterwards.
  110.
  111. The anti-magic restraint that once bound him unclicks to give the man freedom yet again, though whether or not he was healed yet was to be seen.
  112. (Isaac Shimasu)
  113. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  123. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  124.
  125. [21:36] From the depths of a seemingly endless abyss, within the mind of the Heifang, a child donning white locks looked up.
  126.
  127. "Huh?" his voice echoed throughout the darkness, as an incandescent white feather descended.
  128.
  129. And upon the physical world was he seemingly pierced on his chest. Only to levitate and shift into a translucent form. However, due to the manner of healing, it also became evident to Magdalen of Yu's current mana condition.
  130.
  131. One who had fully embraced yet tainted mana to its purest forms. He revealed unto her not mana of azure, of which found normally to magis, but tainted of darkness; of the occult.
  132.
  133. And as the attempt to fill up that scarred void, of presumably soulsteel as a bulwark of his soul, he roared.
  134.
  135. Once more were those eyes filled with infernal flame, staring down to Magdalen. Imposing it may have been, if only it was his command that beckoned to the magic lying dormant within.
  136.
  137. "Miracles," muttered the Heifang under his breath, voice filled with calm but daunting clarity.
  138.
  139. And with that, he dropped to the ground, falling to a knee before closing his eyes. Like a light feather, akin to that translucent light he briefly saw, the Heifang fell on his back.
  140.
  141. To remain unconscious, for only time will tell if Magdalen truly succeeded, or if it might spell the Commander's death.
  142. (Yu Heifang)
  143. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  144.
  145. [21:44] Magdalen was a little surprised as the Occult is found within the Fourfold, knowing Levengard to be quite opposed to that kind of magic -
  146.
  147. But regardless, Sebathium was a good choice. The spiritual metal had the raw materials the Atmosian-blooded required so as to repair the damage done to the soul, even if the other's form was corrupted by the Occult!
  148.
  149. And so, that repair should still function, the unbiased metal taking the place of what was lost. It wasn't a technique to make him a better person - but simply to restore what was lost and prevent it from being taken away again.
  150.
  151. Tired, once he's a physical form again, the Angel-blooded sets that immaculate staff to her back, once it's been wrapped securely in silks and linens.
  152.
  153. "Mm... I've never really been interested in marrying, brother. The feeling of being always felt stifling to me..."
  154.
  155. She remarks, turning back to the messy man upon the floor. She'll retrieve a basin of water and some medical equipment, cleaning that disgusting tar off of him, disinfecting any wounds in a quick survey, and wrapping them in sterile bandages...
  156. (Magdalen Elisheva)
