Description of project:

There is a distinct lack of Iowa State peer to peer networks for collaborative learning. We use many outsourced tools including piazza and canvas, but these apps lack in certain areas and do not allow for much flexibility. We aim to provide a peer to peer network that provides live, collaborative note taking (to be used during a lecture, complete with TA moderating and live anonymous questions), textbook and resource sharing, and a smarter way for professors and students to interact with each other both in and outside of the classroom.

The project will work on the basis of a peer to peer network supporting various types of users including administrators, moderators, students and more. This will include at its base a file sharing platform for course materials and textbooks, a moderated instant messaging platform for live Q&A, and a note taking platform.
