- Ok, so here's the deal. I'm getting to DC on December 31st, so I need a hotel to stay at. I was looking at the Quality Suites hotel, and guess what? Minimum check in age is 21. So yeah, I can't stay there.
- This raises a few more questions for everyone, and a lot more possibilities.
- Scenario 1: When everyone else arrives, we stay at the 4H centre. I stay at a hotel with close proximity to the airport, rather than to the 4H centre, and on the 5th or whatever date we all migrate to the 4H centre.
- Question 1: Would DsS/Corey be wiling to go 5 minutes out of their way to pick me up from my hotel on their roadtrip so I don't have to get another taxi up to the centre?
- Scenario 2: We all stay at a new hotel. This would require taking the taxi/car trip to the 4H centre everytime one of us had a game again, and I'd need to do some math to figure out pricing.
- Question 1: How much do we want to pay for a hotel? We all know you get what you pay for, but there could be a much cheaper hotel that would probably compare to the 4H centre quads, if money is the real issue at hand.
- Question 2: What are our rooming arrangements? Do we want doubles, do we want quads? This is important for me to know as some hotels will not offer 5 people in one room, but others will, and others charge a fee. Again, this comes down to how much money everyone has.
- Scenario 3: When everyone else arrives, we move to the Quality Suites that we picked out earlier. I haven't put as much effort into this idea because I imagine most people are kind of foregone on this?
- Base line: A decision needs to be made, pretty much now. Strong Bad isn't booking his flights until he knows for sure we've got a hotel to stay at that we can actually check into. Flights are going up, everyone needs to stop clowning and start booking. I also need to know where I'm staying in order to apply for the visa waiver program, they require to know the address I'm staying at otherwise I have to get a Visa, which is hundreds of dollars.
