+Ambitious and hardworking - she aims pretty fucking high and works her ass off to get those achievements and trophies. Talent can only get you so far in life, so hard work is what really matters and is important in the end
+Organized - she could never really study in a messy environment and always had to have her items where they were supposed to be. Because of how her parents raised her, overtime, she became a neat freak.
+Blunt - she calls them like she sees them, and honestly doesn’t see the point of sugarcoating things. Isn’t it so much easier to just rip the band aid off, rather than slowly peeling it off and extending the pain even further. It prevents so many miscommunications and gets her opinion out there
+Harsh - she has a difficult time sympathizing with people and rubs off as harsh towards others with her more than cold stare and resting bitch face. Doyoung has this cold outer shell that’s rock solid and almost no one can get through.
+Stands up for herself - if she feels like she is being mistreated or doesn’t see something as right, she’ll stand up for herself and speak up, because she refuses to be walked over anymore
+Private - She likes to keep her emotions to herself and for people to not try to dig into her thoughts. It just feels a lot safer for Doyoung knowing that no one knows about her suicidal thoughts and her depression. +Stubborn - she is quite stubborn at times and refuses to ask for help, no matter how much she actually needs it. She wants to be able to fix the problem herself, and then if she absolutely must, THEN she’ll call for reinforcements.
+Reserved - when I mean by reserved I don’t mean like feminine and shy and that shebang, I mean like she isn’t super bold and all in your face. She is quite most of the times, but when she has something to say, she’ll say it plain and simple. She can be affectionate towards people, but it’s only to people she is close to and she shows it in rather subtle ways that takes a while to notice and figure out.
+Loyal - she definitely didn’t learn this from her parents, but instead from her brothers, who stuck by her even when she did disappoint their parents and leave them behind. It takes a while to earn her trust, as she doesn’t give it to just anybody, but once you do, you also gain undying loyalty and faithfulness from her. That’s why she hates cheaters in a relationship so much, seeing as they are supposed to be loyal to their S/O, rather than having flings behind their back.
+Honorable - in her book, there’s no point in winning if you didn’t fully deserve it. It’s unfair to everyone else and you truly feel like a winner when you are honest and work hard. She despises people who use dirty tactics to get what they want and use it in order to win at something.
+Patient - her parents also unknowingly taught her the importance of patience. She doesn’t really rush anything, whether it's the learning process or it’s feelings for someone. She’d rather have it grow slowly and naturally than for it to manifest quickly and unnaturally. That’s why it takes her a while before she actually falls in love with taehyung, seeing as she likes to take her time with things.

background :: she was born in a somewhat poor family, with two older brothers that are fraternal twins. Her parents always pushed her to do her utmost best and to be the top of the food chain in school. She had to be perfect, wearing the right clothes, friends with everyone, nice and pretty, smart and polite. She was living a lie and felt like a sham. She never went to parties and instead studied all night, was class president and the captain of her volleyball team, and was voted both most likely to succeed and all around best. Doyoung could never be herself and just relax in that household. Her brothers would always try to support her and she had a very close relationship with them, but even then, it didn’t do much help, seeing as her parents would always compare her to her brothers, with hwayoung being extremely smart and the perfect gentleman, while seokmin was the outgoing and handsome one, charming everyone that he met. She was naturally neither one and had to fake it ‘till she made it in order to appease her parents. They never cared about her well being and only cared about the amount of money she could make and the amount of success that could be brought to the family. That’s why when she graduated, she cut off the ties she had with her parents, still remaining extremely close to her brothers, packed up her stuff, and left them to pursue a job as a florist. She always loved gardening and loved studying plants, specifically flowers, so being a florist was a perfect choice for her. As of now, she is in college with all of the scholarship funds she collected over the past years in high school, taking classes in floristry.

- She knows all about flowers and their meanings. Occasionally, she’ll send a loved one a flower with a little card explaining the meaning of the specific flower (cough cough she does that to taehyung to confess to him cough cough). She always asks her customers who they are planning to give flowers to and exactly why so she can recommend them the best flower choice
- She’s one of the favorite florists in the flower shop because the arrangement of the bouquets and the little cards with the flower meanings are so cute and literally EVERYONE loves them. Also, she kinda cute with the amount of effort she puts in the bouquets that the customers naturally love her
- She’s actually very fashionable and likes picking out her clothing because they have to match together. That’s just how she is.

why do you want to die :: there are days where I question what I’m doing with my life. I felt so alone and broken when I was the perfect little trophy girl in that family, but even once I left behind that life, I realized that I was nothing without my “perfect” title. What am I without my trophies and my scholarships? What am I without my straight A’s and being valedictorian? Nothing. I’ve gotten so used to that title that I feel so lost now without it and now, I have no place in society. All I ever really knew what was how to study. My battle with my depression has gone far too long, and I honestly just want to quit. Nothing is really keeping me back except the faint thought that this is the coward way to go and that I am so much more stronger than this. But do I care anymore? Not really. It sounds so tempting to just leave behind the empty shell that I am now and just be free from all of this bullshit.

- He buys her a small little cake when he remembers that it’s her birthday and passes by the flower shop late at night, seeing that she’s still working on her birthday. All platonic feelings behind buying the cake, mainly just friendship and feeling sad that she isn’t out, celebrating her birthday with family members or friends
- Taehyung going straight to her, a mess after the girl (his crush and date for a while) tells him that she can’t reciprocate the feelings and that she doesn’t want to be in a serious relationship

- Their relationship is a weird one. At first, Doyoung doesn’t like Taehyung being of how loud and absurd he is, but as he starts coming by more often, she starts softening her harsh opinions on him. They bicker a lot and have these little debates, but it honestly is cute how they always bicker like an old couple. They take their time developing their feelings for each other and doesn’t need to show their affection for each other in bold ways (although taehyung is quite flashy from time to time).
