Covet: Kelsey was pushing Connor on the swing, She let him do it by himself for a little bit. She pushed her hair our of her face as she watched him, her hands on her hips. // "Dad! Dad! Look, I'm doing the kicking to make me go higher." Connor called out to him, regardless of the fact that Kelsey had gotten him started... again.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad was pacing in circles through the grass with his phone pressed to his ear, speaking quietly into the receiver. When he heard Connor call out to him, he lifted his head to send him a quick smile, waving a hand at Connor before dropping his chin again to continue his phone conversation with the editor.-

Covet: "Give him just a second kiddo. Dad is doing some important work for his job." Kelsey told Connor. // Connor furrowed his brow, "What about his asstant Mr. Evan? Why can't he do Dad's work so Dad could play with us?" // "Because Mr. Evan is just around to help manage Dad's schedule and give him the really important calls, and this is one of them." She explained further.
Alexithymiaa: "So tomorrow morning?" He asked a little more excitedly, turning to head back in the direction of Kelsey and Connor as he finished up his call. "Good, as soon as I finish watching it, I'll call you with my notes. Alright, have a good one." He pulled the phone from his ear, shoving it down into his pocket. "I'm getting a rough cut of Anna's new video tomorrow."-
Covet: "Really? That's great, I can't wait to see it." Kelsey said with a grin. "I bet it's going to be awesome. What we've seen already was really cool." // "Are youdone working now, Dad? Because I think it's play time not work time." Connor said more as a demand then a request.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, I'm pretty excited. After the rough cut, theyre going to get the CG all mocked up and that's when the rest of it really comes together." He crossed his arms over his chest, watching Connor swing back and forth. "I have to work all the time, Little Man. That's just the way it goes."-
Covet: "That's great, that means a release isn't that far off too right?" She asked him. // "I know, but can it be over for just a little bit now? I have to go to bed soon, then you can work more, okay?" Connor asked trying to haggle.
Alexithymiaa: "That's exactly what that means." He told her as he moved a bit closer to her so he could circle his arm around her hips. "Okay buddy, I'm done working for tonight, but I have to work tomorrow."-
Covet: Kelsey stepped in closer to him, leaning against his body, "Well, you might have some work tonight, but that's something more for me than anyone else." She told him with a wink. // "No, Momma. Dad said he was done, you're gonna work him like a racehorse." He said totally getting that phrase wrong.
Alexithymiaa: "Welllll....." He said before cracking a grin, shaking his head at Connor. "It's okay buddy. I am a racehorse. Stallions can run for a really long time before they get tired." He shot Kelsey a mischevious grin which is kind of ironic because Brad cant run ten steps before needing a break.-
Covet: "Is this before or after said stallion is put to pasture?" Kelsey asked him with a smirk. // "No not real horses. But real horses would be cool. Momma can we go ride horses?" He asked getting distracted from his own topic now.
Alexithymiaa: "Hey!" He blurted at her, giving her a gentle playful shove because BITCH. "Hey wait, yeah. We should go horseback riding. I did that once when I was your age."-
Covet: Kelsey snickered and nodded, "I'd like that, I haven't been in a while. We could go maybe sometime next week?" She suggested to Brad, but Connor of course chimed in.// "Yeah, Momma let's go next week. The sooner the better."
Alexithymiaa: "We could do that..." He started, thinking about any places he might know of that they could go. Which brought him down the trail of horseback riding. His hands slowly moved to the crotch of his jeans, giving a little wince. "Actually... I don't know. Is that safe?"-
Covet: "So long as we find someone who has helmets and is good with kids. I don't see why we couldn't. I can browse about and see if I can find something? Maybe we could do that as our own Fourth of July sort of fun thing?" Kelsey suggested. // "Dad, of course it's safe, it's just horses." Connor said, clearly not understanding the damage a horse could actually do.
Alexithymiaa: "I don't know if a helmet is the kind of protection I'm looking for..." He said in a hushed tone to Kelsey before shrugging. "Yeah, I guess we could do that for Fourth of July. Sure...."-
Covet: "Oh... Well.. I mean.. it kind of is... Something to protect your helmet at least." She said with a laugh, "If they fit the saddle right, it shouldn't be that bad, Your butt will hurt before anything else." Kelsey told him, reaching over to give his a bit of a squeeze. // "Can we ride horses while the fireworks are going off?" Connor asked, but dude...what kind of adventure are you looking for kid. You aren't a rodeo star.
Alexithymiaa: "Is that supposed to make me feel better?" He asked, jumping a bit when she grabbed at his butt. "Uhhh... I don't know, Little Man. That might be hard depending on where we go. Not all places have both going on at the same time."-
Covet: "It won't hurt as bad as when Ozzie rode you." She mumbled to him quietly so Connor couldn't hear. "Does that make you feel better?" Kelsey asked with a cheeky smirk, then shook her head at Connor, "No, kiddo that would be dangerous. Sometimes the loud booms of the fireworks scare the horses, and they'd run and buck you off. /// Conor listened, "Oh, yeah, that would be bad, so maybe we can ride horses in the day time, then do fireworks at night?"
Alexithymiaa: -He narrowed his eyes on her, reaching behind her to pinch HER butt. "No." Listening to the explanation about the horses, he started to nod. "Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I guess that's true. But we can do horses during the day and fireworks at night, yes. And we can get firecracker pops while we watch the fireworks, too." That was purely for him.-
Covet: Kelsey squeaked then gave her own little cackl as he answered her. "I demand Sparklers!" // "Momma sparklers are for babies. You're a grown up, you can play with real fireworks." He said, then who the fuck are Pops for then kid, huh?
Alexithymiaa: (I love pops.)
Alexithymiaa: "No way, I want sparklers too. If they're for babies and you don't want one, then we'll play with them and you can just watch us then. Right Kels?" He asked, using the dad voice.-
Covet: "Mhhm. And all you'll be playing with is pops." Kelsey told Connor. "I think you'll see pretty quick who's having more fun." // "If Dad wants sparklers, than I call his pops too!" Connor said, making a play for more pops. Still isn't the same as sparklers kid.
Covet: [I love using them to prank people.
Covet: If you put them under the nubs on the toilet seat..... for people who sit down... It will give them quite the fright. XD]
Alexithymiaa: (HAHHAHAHAHA OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING)
Alexithymiaa: -He rubbed his hands together, nodding. "Nope. You dont get my pops just because you dont want sparklers. I still get my pops too. It's not my fault you're giving up your sparklers."-
Covet: [Putting a pile under someone's front or back tire is entertaining too. ]
Covet: Kelsey crossed her arms and looked at Connor, " Dad's got a point Kiddo. If you want more fireworks, You'll just have to have sparklers with us."// Connor sighed, "Fine, but can we get some of the loud screaming ones too?"
Alexithymiaa: (I LOVE THIS. I NEED ALL THE IDEAS.)
Alexithymiaa: "The loud screaming ones are bad for your ears. I dont like those. I like the ones that just make a pretty fountain of light on the ground. Those are nice." He said with a nod, recalling years of setting off illegal fireworks in the streets when he lived in New York.-
Covet: "Awwh, but I like the loud screaming ones, and the fountains, and the frog one that hops." Kelsey said, then looked at her phone, "Oh my goodness it is late, we need to get you back to the dorms and get you in bed Kiddo." /// "See I told you my bedtime was soon." Connor said as he jumped off the swing, then started to run for the car, to get that last little bit of energy out.
Alexithymiaa: "Alright alright, we can get whatever we can find." He said, giving in quickly because he was nostalgic about this shit anyway. He turned, beginning to follow Connor in the direction of the car. "He's not lighting any of them."-
Covet: "Well of course not. That would make us highly irresponsible parents if we did that." She laughed shaking her head as she walked with the boys to the car to head back to the dorms.
