With two loving parents that only cherished her with kisses and only scolded her when needed, they always made sure she felt special and safe, not wanting her to get hurt with the reality of the world. That was their first mistake, as she started getting more distant, more obsessive. She wouldn’t let them take care of her cousins, she wouldn’t let them have dates without making a scene so she could go with them. She started transforming into something they couldn’t control, and they took advantage of her being so close to a girl at the time that they begged the girl to trick Haeyeon into going to therapy and start treating herself. Over time, she started getting better but she still has her own flaws that make her not attract that many friends or boys into her life.
