1. Cool, thanks for the permission to repost it. I'm sure he will post it again soon. He did say that he was at 50% warning or something for posting it, so could I ask that you or if you could lower that so his post can actually be seen without always having to be moderator approved? If not maybe you could ask someone with the power to lower that some?

 3. At the minimum it'd be nice if you could at least approved the thread (and maybe make a post in the thread once it's posted saying that it's okay as long as no files are linked to.

 5. I'm new to this warning system and I'm not sure how or if there even is a normal way to get it lowered so if that's not how things work then please excuse my ignorance.

 7.
As for why we have a 3DS section for translations, I have no idea. The group of people that handle submissions (hacks, documents, utilities, etc) are mostly a separate group of people. However, it does immediately jump out at me that there are not currently any existing 3DS translations on the page you linked. Presumably the submission staff filters out any 3DS or other current gen content that ends up in the queue. Certainly when Nintendo Switch gets into gamer hands, I'm sure we'll see some 3DS hacks on this site.
9. Anyway as for your comment about nothing being in the 3DS Translations section yet, romhacking.net has (at least to me and to those I know who work on translating 3DS games) given the impression that only finished translations are allowed on the site. When I clicked submit a translation in the section it seemed to tell me otherwise on the submission page but still the idea had otherwise been communicated incorrectly I guess.

 11. But even more reason for why there wouldn't be something is probably because to date, only 2 games have been 100% translated for the 3DS. It's still only been maybe a year or two since a way to legally play them with the original games. So the whole romhacking/translating process is still in it's infancy as I see it. And when things should be submitted only by the creators of said translation/hack it does make for a much smaller demographic of people who can submit things.

 13. I have a friend who has made a program to edit a more common text file format for 3DS games (.msbt) and he has said he's considered uploading it (because it says utilities are allowed to be submitted) but he wasn't sure if it'd be allowed.

 15. Anyway thanks so much for the reply! I truly appreciate it, and the guys that are working on translating that game seem pretty excited when I told them that they got the okay. I'm not actually working on the game myself, I'm just friends with the group as I'm working on a translation for another game.
