Zucchi was the second child of Gohan, one of the fighters and protectors of earth for many years, and she was born quite later on in Gohan's age. They lived for quite some time, but Gohan was still well on in his life. He was quite busy during this time in his life, many different things coming up, while at the same time the young baby girl was growing up fairly quickly, proving to be almost as troublesome as Pan had in her early age. Her sister played with her often, though the two children had to be left at babysitters many times, generally speaking Piccolo came along, along with some of Gohan's other friends. During one of the times that Tien came along, it seemed that Zucchi had wandered off, and was proving rather unruly with a pair of animals, playing a bit 'too' roughly with them, not understanding her own strength. Tien was the first to find her, and ended up having to teach her a lesson about not abusing her strength like she had. It seemed to do the opposite at the time, and cause her to want to play with Tien instead. This was both good and bad, proving an outlet for the young child's potential, as well as testing Tien's patience. As she grew up though, along with Piccolo's help, they managed to start working on a small curriculum for her. Training...of a sort. She had to have her hand held for much of it in the beginning, but they held her attention long enough that she began to pick up on things faster then any of Tien's other students had at the time. It was part of her Saiyan blood coming out, since much of it had to do with fighting.

She held alot of raw power in her body, along with anger, that could be drawn out easily, unfortunately. Tien was getting older, and at the time it seemed like he wouldn't find any student better then she, to teach his techniques to, to unlock her potential. With Gohan's permission, along with Videl's, they took the young girl off into isolation, to meditate for many days, along with Piccolo though that was mainly to ensure things went well. They all knew how good at 'meditating' Piccolo was. It was also a favor from Gohan, to watch her.
