- {NARRATION} The day had come. Armies began to march through the Prarie, making their way to Nostvale to station themselves there until the day came. And when it did, they made their way to the Black Gate to build an outpost in the Sarab. This was the first major battle of what would likely be a long and bloody war, so Alexandra brought some of her best soldiers, but... ...The numbers were a bit lopsided. Even when obscured by the sands of the Sarab, it was immediately evident that Danarium brought far more people, and Alex brought very few of her heavy hitters. While not decisive, this battle still had a lot on the line, and the decision to not bring her strongest of soldiers seemed to be the mistake that'd cost Alex this fight, but who knows... The skies were clear, and the battlefield was ripe for bloodshed- as if it hadn't seen enough already. this was a huge mistake
- [14:50:40] The procession was without the primal glory and the honor that supposedly came with battle and war; there was no pride to be taken in the endeavor of a crazed woman, beneath the weight of evil that no one could comprehend. There was nothing good about what was going to happen, but years had passed, months had gone, and he had been conditioned from ground up to die in the name of the queen who had never forsaken him.
- Steps were heavy, as the heat came down, those brutal waves tearing from the paramount star and attacking him. His head was bowed, his hair long and damp, sweat protruding from his skin--the same skin that was exposed, or concealed beneath several layers of heavy, dragging armor. He was disheartened, marching quietly forth, his heart mached the sound of the drums as some random child struck them.
- He appeared, coming from behind, and standing abreast of depravity embodied. He was straight now, his chest held forward; his chin was high, and he was there, confident that he would fulfill that allotted purpose. His sword was held in one hand, the balde digging into the ground below, the sound breakng beneath the emanating power of the sun.
- His eyes were focused, his heart was steady, and he stood, an image of sheer preparedness.
- (Cain Falco)
- [14:50:40] So this was it.
- Having made his way from Alteros, the Malpercian Vindicator would once again use the art of rift. Taking a deep breath, lavender eyes stared outwards, creating the violet portal before them which they would use to move forth, bringing three undead along side him as well as Charolotte as per asked. The warmth envolped his form, and before long the occultic weapons that he typically used would cover his frame, prepared as possible for battle.
- From here it was a bit of a march. The violet glance would be made towards the fighters, recalling amounts like such during hte battle for the Ithsmus, but reguardless the Vindicator moved in sync.. There was a silence now, eyes staring ahead at the larger army that was ahead of them.. Well, this was not exactly good..
- Taking a deep breath, the aging man mentally prepared himself for the worst, making sure to adjust his mask as to make sure sand would not get into them.. Prevention from as much hinderance as possible.
- (Spike Malpercius)
- [14:50:40] Nasargiel Melym marches in the midst of an elite force, a vanguard of Magi united in the cause of ensuring the forces of the East are expelled beyond the Black Gate. No outpost-building would go unnoticed, royals of both Frostvale and Danarium at the fore. Clad in a suit of platemail, he rests the flat of his blade upon a pauldron as he trudges through the desert sands in good spirits.
- Soon enough, the enemy force loomed on the horizon-- a perhaps disappointingly smaller lot doomed to a difficult battle to say the least. He claps his Cousin's shoulder reassuringly, increasing his pace to get closer to the front and its inevitable bloodshed.
- This desert had seen no shortage of it over the ages.
- (Nasargiel Melym)
- [14:51:31] The Sarab didn't seem to have an expection today with its heat, as Sarah walked upon it. Unlike many of the others going through the battlefield, Sarah seemed to be walking one of death, and likely, only few could notice. She hadn't changed or faught in so long. Why didn't she take care of everything ahead of time? Now she was just an old bat going into a war that she knew so little about, only that it would delete the threat towards Danarium, or at the least, hold it off for awhile.
- It was when Sarah was with a large group of fighters, ones that were clearly much younger. The only reason that Sarah would stand out was because of her age. She might just be the oldest one here, and now, she was going to fight with that age.
- Her heart was beating fast, sweating now. Was this going to be her last fight, or would this be a new chapter of battles for her?
- (Sarah Perrafin)
- [14:52:22] It had been a long march of sorts -- embarking from Alteros with a group of select people, and soldiers. Things like that, you know? Charlotte had a hood pulled over her head the entire time, and didn't even appear to be brandishing her staff. No. Instead, she had a sheathe of sorts -- fit for a rapier, which clung to her side -- secured by a rope of sorts that was ALSO secured to that of her armor -- black plates with a green trim.
- The emerald-green eyes of the Oscuri would peer from her hood as they crossed the Black Gate -- gazing around at who they may face -- and any other soldiers they may have with them. Charlotte honestly was hoping that she was joking when she said she wouldn't be leaving this war. But now, she had little amounts of regret. But something bound her of course -- the woman's own honor.
- The hood would be pulled back over -- a hand going towards her blade, to have a light, simple grip upon the sword's hilt.
- the ants go marching two-by-two hurrah, hurrah
- (Charlotte Azkara)
- [14:52:22] The Black Gate...it had been a while since he'd seen it. As imposing a structure as ever, but they had little choice but to break right through it. A hand pushed up his sleeve, teeth gritting. There was more work to be done this day. Finally, the campaign against the east had begun.
- The insane and sadistic ones who had haunted him, who even now sought to spread their perverse survival-of-the-fittest mantra across the scope of Valmasia were before them. Ironic that the wild-born Hibiki would have realized the inherent evil of such a thing...but he had long since made his peace with that. Today and always, he stood on the side of compassion.
- The number of the enemy were low...it brought an uneasy look to his face. This screamed of some sort of ploy or trap. Not to mention, those among the enemy's numbers were hardly the pushover Yokai Exovaryn had dragged to assault the Isthmus.
- But troubling him more than anything were the absences. A scowl lept to his face...this was just wrong to him.
- Stepping forward admist the sand, probably closer to Bastet's position at the head than protocol demanded, he called out with a booming voice, taking a leaf out of Demeter's book.
- "Claudia! Lysander! Come out! We've got unfinished business!"
- (Hibiki)
- [14:53:13] Hinsley had been preparing for this day for a long time now - the day of his death and demise. He just had this terrible feeling that he was fated to die here, in the desert, far from home. Even worse, he'd been having dreams about it. Oscuri berserkers hacking his head off.. Yokai burning him alive with occult magic. And so on, and so on.
- Now leading a small band of Nivis - as he had to do, as an Adain - he felt just as confident as he did leaving Frostvale. Riding on a still nameless brown horse, Hinsley still felt the grip of death tightening on him. Kraus only knew how many people were going to meet them in battle.
- Right there, just off in the distance, Hinsley could see how many were going to meet them in battle. And he laughed, his fears washing away in a single moment. This was Tilandre?
- They drew closer. Closer to the inevitable battle.
- (Hinsley Arriot)
- [14:53:13] The warhorns had sounded again.
- A failed assault on the Isthmus had pushed the East back towards their corrupted home, and the mighty forces of the Coalition of the West stood at the ready to repel any aggressive incursion on their homeland. Danarium and her allies stood proud with each other; something that could not be said of their darker brothers and sisters. It was their just desserts. In a part of the country where occultism and evil ran free, how could you trust your soldiers to come to your aid?
- No honor amongst thieves. Or occultists, as it were.
- Ana stood tall with grim determination. She knew better than to underestimate the power of her enemies. Occultists, and the puppets of Belial, wielded powerful and arcane magicks that, even in their few number, could still easily hold their own in combat. So while her compatriots might have felt the battle won already, she expected there to be a trick up the sleeve. Something to turn the tide. Something that would inflict untold agony upon them.
- Adriano and Nymira earn themselves quick glances, and another wayward look is sent towards Hibiki. Small as the East's numbers may be, they were a force not to be trifled with. A nod to each, and she unholsters her staff, gripping in tightly - knuckles turning white from the strength of her grasp. Now would be the time to render judgement, to smite the enemies of all that is good and holy.
- (Ana Roh'hi'tin)
- [14:53:13] Adriano's stake in this oncoming conflict was far greater than he could ever deem himself comfortable with. All his life, things had been pretty easy - and despite the slim pickings, he was satisfied with it. However, he was now readily placing his life on the line for a cause that he represented. One would normally expect the man to be excited at the prospect, perhaps even beaming. Before events that took place a few years ago, he certainly wouldn't have cared. Now he just had to hope that those he cared about wouldn't fall victim to the same circumstances that he'd be facing in moments.
- Hopping off of the caravan to engage in his first proper slobberknocker, Adriano reached the area north of the Black Gate with Nymira in tow. The magma mage made easy strides through the sands, piecing together the perfect feigning of someone who knew what they were doing. Irritated by the painful radiance of the sun, he did his utmost to shield his eyes with his arm, grunting the whole way until he managed to reach the rear of his side.
- Much as he'd like to fight in the front, formation was important, and he was going to preserve it at any means necessary. A rough sniff of the arid sandy atmosphere through his nostrils, and the soldier set off to his work, imbuing his gauntleted arms with the blessing of molten magma. His hands taking to their igneous forms quite easily, Adriano stared a gutsy stare down at his enemy, gritting his teeth. "There's supposed to be justice..."
- And still, off in the distance, he could note none else but the visage of Cain Falco - his de-facto mentor, and now one of his opponents. He was not looking forward to this at all. "...Supposed to be justice. Not any now. Not fair, not fair at all." Crunch, crunch. Lamenting his circumstances, Adriano pounded his magmatic fists together, sparks and bits of rock flying in the air between his knuckles.
- (Adriano Tucci)
- [14:53:13] Alexandra descended from the half-finished outpost, gazing upon the army she was fated to fight. The feeling of imminent doom welled up within her stomach, the woman fully aware that this fight was a piss-take likely to result in a loss. But did she really mind...? At one point, tasting loss irked Alexandra like nothing else, but now? Well, it was conductive to her goals no matter what the result would be. Her intention was to either save this world, or leave behind someone who could. And, surely, someone who fit the bill of a hero existed within the opposition... right?
- With every step she took forward, images flashed through her mind. She saw the grand battles that took place during the Divine War, and every bit of hesitation she had slowly began to fall by the wayside. It was replaced with the urge to fight and spill blood, strengthening to the point where it was impossible for her to actually feel anxious about what was about to transpire.
- This was what she was hard-wired to do.
- And out of all her predeccessors, she was confident she could do it better than anyone.
- Win or lose, Alex would see a victory here, although one result was certainly more desirable than the other.
- (Alexandra Eldor)
- [14:53:13] The day had finally arrived. War was set to take place within the desert landscape, and none could do much to prevent such a thing. People were going to die today - Orphans like her father would be created, all for this vichous cycle the world is condemned to exist through. Good things may never last, she knows this now. An aura of depression stagnates around Katiel as she walks with her beloved cousin, into what is possible her death.
- Then the armies come within view - A pitiful sight to behold, but one that brings with it hope. Their numbers were smaller than their own, and with it, less deaths on both ends. Nasargiel's touch is welcomed. She would smile behind the cover of the bucket helm, unseen but certainly felt. He would take the lead, and Katiel would walk behind, obedient and feeling dread inside.
- Armour is worn - Perhaps for the first time. This was Katiel's first war, where she shall contribute to the death count. Willingly or not.
- (Katiel Melym)
- [14:54:04] War. It was something no one wished to be apart of, it was a disgusting battle full of death and people losing those who they love. In the end no one wins a war, they all fall... and people shall fall with them. Whoever started these wars have no shame, a real leader surrenders if it spares their people... so it says in a book he once read. But if he was a leader, would he lay down his weapons for his people? No, his pride is too much for him to simply give up on his Kingdom or his woman, thus why he stands here today.
- Grasping onto the black blade, there is a very special reason why he chose his sword to look so sinister, even with the powers of holy magic channeling through it. His sword represented how dark his heart became when he had his enemies to his mercy and only one other person knew this truly. All he can do here is hope none of his friends were fighting... but could he really call Claudia a friend anymore?
- He could stand here and question everything, but in the end he'll get no answer. Holy magic swirls up around his body, engulfing him in the beautiful essence of serenity, yet sickness for any occultists. Thousands of men and women by his side. Sebastian, Nasargiel, Hibiki... his fiance. This war held more people he kept close to his heart than any other did before... so there was no room for failure, not this time. He would rather die before losing to any of these scum, they have to win... because if they don't, more people will suffer.
- ''Praise Kraus.'' He mutters. Even if he always seemed so cold to everyone other than Bastet, there is a good reason to why he aims for himself to be hated. If people hate him, then he doesn't need to see anyone stick their neck out for him. ''Let us bring more peace, when we've done so much destruction.'' Eyes wander, his only task now was to distract a magi or destroy the lesser forces.
- (Ryland Pierce)
- [14:54:04] Fear had clung to her heart from the moment they set out on their apparent death march, the tides of fate left unknown up until their footsteps finally brought them to the place of bloodshed-- the Black Gate. "We're here..." Was all the mimic could think as her fingers clenched back and forth between opened and unopened. This was what could have been their final number, their demise, their deaths, but... maybe not.
- A flicker of hope lit itself inside the young mimic's mind as she witnessed those that stood before them. Their numbers were daunting, but not in the sense that it was a bad thing. If they weren't the enemies, she would have felt bad for them-- but no. She wouldn't get cocky, not when their numbers had nothing to do with her prowess and abilities to dodge dumb pointy objects.
- Breathing inslowly, the woman began to fret. Four months had came and gone far faster than she could have ever imagined. One blink was it all it took for them to be sent into the future, and now here they stood.
- Exhaling, she slowly grabbed for the staff on her back, her nervous fingers wrenching themselves around it in a fit of nervousness. She didn't at all seem the type to be standing on no bloody forsaken battlefield.
- (Nymira)
- [14:54:04]
- Blood for blood. She had gotten what she desired from the fall of her mother and father. It took the sacrifices of their beings to finally force the Queen to settle down and realize that there are many things to live for. And those things are right behind her at this moment. The thrum of clattering boots against endless sands - the music of voices chanting, bannerman singing, and so much more is like music to her ears. It is truly the marching band that Alexandra had desired. It is truly briliant. The appearance of fire runs through her being - her teeth are grit as she comes across all of the mysterious ones..
- Cloaked in dark attire, hoods covering their features, each of them are more ominous than the next. Each of them, holding a power that the young girl has never seen before. There is worry - perhaps fear...And yet, she knows that with her numbers...There is to be victory for all things brought forth. Her teeth grind together, her hues narrowing into fine, vermillion slits as she raises the blade of her grandfather.
- "My people. My men. Despite everything that has happened to us - despite everything that we've been through, I am grateful that you stand beside me today to fight our enemy. As family, we have fought one another and as family, we shall fight with each other. Let us not fall apart to our enemies but see to it that they shatter beneath us. These people who live for nothing, these people who are nothing. Stand with me again, Glacium, Brighthold, Draco Nivis And together, we will sweep this entire realm for our dreams."
- Proud. And happy. The molten rock covers her features as her voice lifts. "My men. My army My people. Swarm. And take the victory that is rightfully yours! CHARGE!!
- (Bastet Silvertongue)
- [14:54:56] It was time for the war, ignoring the call for a couple of minutes. He felt a little bad for leaving the girl known as Talmiyeth alone, even if she knew he had to fight in the war. Giving his last kiss he moved away from her and joined the soldiers in their march, it was his first war and he was pretty anxious.
- Then it hit him, if he were to die then he'd leave all of his treasures and stuff to nothing, calming himself down by trusting in the power of his comrades he continued walking with the group of people. All of them seemed strong and leading the march was ofcourse Queen Bastet, a smile grew on his face as he happily marched with the group. When they enetered the desert a wave of heat flushed over him. It was very hot, the heat ws unbearable. The group continued with walking under the scorching sun of the Sarab Desert.
- Luckily he still had some water left, drinking all of the water he had left. A group of people was in sight, the opposing army. Anxiousness grew inside of his stomach as the groups stopped infront of eachother. It was time to fight, to decide and hopefully end the war, there he stood with his staff in one hand his mind not even wavering one second. A bit of sweat rolling from his forehead.
- (Mephis Talos)
- [14:54:56] Sylus saw the few warriors march out of Tilandre. It was surprising to him. He hardly ever saw the Queen move, so when she actually did, Sylus was more than a little curious. While he doesn't directly trail them on their way to their destination, he still manages to keep up with them up until they had come to a halt at the gate.
- Both he and his crew member adacore come to a stop as well, Sylus about to speak up and ask the golden question up until he sees multiple silhouettes marching from the opposite direction. He squints, trying to make out key figures, but would unable to do so until they had come a bit closer. His eyes widen upon noticing the Queen of Danarium step forth -- an entire army behind her.
- oh shit
- He looks on, figuring things were about to become very real. He looks over at Adacore with an eyebrow raise.
- "How many pockets do you think we can run after all of this?" he says, clearly making it evident that he was planning on sticking around. As crazy as it sounded.
- (Sylus)
- [14:55:47] As Ebisu got ready for war he was a bit nervous as he always is when it comes down to violence being reaked. Ebisu prepared for everything no mess ups were allowed. Ebisu took his weapon of course not sword but his gauntlets. Ebisu then started to prep him self he stood towards the dummy in the training field and let it rip his powers come out through him like he was some type water bender. Ebisu swung his whips violently. Ebisu then charged it with his striking it with his gauntlets his hits were powerful his acceleration hit the dummy so hard it should have broke a sound barrier.
- Ebisu started to make his way to the battle field armour clad blood dripping from his gauntlets so he could use his blood magic. His water magic came around him flowing over him. Ebisu made a fast run to the battle field his speed with time acceleration was crazy. He made it to the battle with in moments.
- He then looked around there was a large amount of people from Frostvale and Danarium. Ebisu was a bit self concious he has seen when someone was outnumbered and came back so deciding the winner is not comformed not even for a minute. Ebisu noticed a couple of people there being the one in the brown jacket he seen him a couple of times he passed by Alteros other even the Queen from Tilandre. Ebisu lined up with others he remembered even Brighthold members had joined forces with them it was phenominal.
- Ebisu stood his ground then waited.
- (Ebisu Saiken)
- [14:55:47] Sebastian moved with the army of the Draco Nivis, standing at its head with the reigns of his horse grasped in his hands. His steed was a midnight black charger, hooves managing the desert as easily as they did the snowy climes of Frostvale. He reared his horse to a halt, looking past the armies of the West and towards the Black Gate. There lay the foulest sort, people that would turn against humanity, or those that were forced too by the ones above them, war always had sacrifices. Necessary or not.
- Let these ones be on the heads of those that deserved it though.
- opping off his horse, he handed the reigns to his nearby attendant, grasping the staff that had once been his father's tightly in hand while making is way towards the very front ranks to be beside his family. "Almost reminds me of Brighthold. In the sense that all of this violence could have been stopped if people didn't listen to a self obsessed power hungry ass." He murmured lightly, concentrating briefly to send a flow of mana into Tavin, making the staff glow with holy light.
- "Let Kraus forgive these souls, because we can't." Sebastian paused, sucking in a breath and exhaling it, forcing himself to calm down, steel his will. "DRACO NIVIS, TO ARMS!" He cried out after his sisters command to charge, wings formed of bright holy magic bursting out from behind his back and propelling him forward towards the battlefield.
- (Sebastian Silvertongue)
- [14:55:47] As a sea of profound warriors from all over the known world and beyond arrive at the Black Gate, a trio of youngsters do the same. Ages eight to ten, but in this case, in this scenario where death and chaos hovered over the area that they called home, it did not matter. They had been recruited into Avis by Cain for a reason. And with that said, there is a job to be done.
- The child soldier in the center is a lean but scrawny looking kid with a massive axe on his back and a straw hat on his cranium. His name is Tyr Uun, and admittedly, he does not belong here with his current level of battle expertise. But because the decision to show up anyway had been made, he stood before the massive army ahead with a solid expression on his facial features, doing his absolute best to mentally prepare himself for the war ahead.
- "We can't lose here, right? We gotta' give our all." He spoke in a somewhat muffled tone to Adacore and Sylus beside him as the weapon in his hand laid itself downin the sand before him.
- (Tyr Uun)
- [14:56:38] Another battle to continue the raging flames of war that now seemed to be sreading across the land, first the assult on the Isthmus and now the assult on Danarium and Frostvale as a whole, the world brings so much joy doesn't it? Dimitri survived the last battle so he surely would survive this one, and hopefully they came out on top just as they did the last time.
- He would stand firm as he faced the opposing forces pledging his loyalty to Danarium and Frostvale and pledging his services to the Whitecloaks. The warrior life seemed to be the life he strived for, whether it killed him or not in the end. This si what brought excitement to his life whether or not it was a seriosu matter or not.
- The warrior life also gave him a chance to defend the ones he cared for to the utmost of his ability, and to defend the ones he didn't know even though he cared for them as well. he was ready for the battles ahead and no matter who he fought he would fight them valiantly and fight them to the best of his ability so he may live on and continue protecting the people around him.
- May Kraus watch over him this day.
- (Dimitri Montblanc)
- [14:56:38] Escaping defeat during one war, only to join in another. Months had been spent in the desert, recoving, and checking on the surviving Tenebrae forces, while also dealing with his expiriments with a Haurke. Though, his operation with Voss had been postponed, he felt confident in his abilities this time-
- Untill the man realized how outnumbered they were. Eye widened, and he stopped dead in his trracks. "Dear Saekanis..." They were few in numbers, compared to Danariums forces. This would more than likely result in yet another loss, yet he marched forward, knowing that this would end well, and fully preparded to die.
- Just before charging in, a glace was given to Spike, and quickly he tossed the heart-eating firebug a pipe filled with soothe reed. It seemed to serve him well during the last battle. So why not?
- (Kale Minerva)
- [14:57:29] She had taken flight, all the way from Frostvale to the the Sarab desert,. It was quite a long way and for Diri, her direwolf who had come along, it was likely feeling longer for him. Such a shame, but it is the price for travel. Nevertheless, they seemed to have a whole sea of people on their side. Armies that were so huge, they could easily demolish anything. Some people she saw, flew in the air, not too many but an ample few, and with the sun standing bright in the clear blue skies, Emelth knew that by the end of the day, night would not be the only thing falling.
- Eventually they would reach their destination, infront of the grand black gates of Nostvale, the whole army ready for some kind of great battle that was about to commence, yet even so, when she saw the other side, Emelth nearly faltered in flight. It was likely not even a half, perhaps a third of what they had brought with them, but she knew to never judge a book by its cover and seeing some influential people there, she knew that these people were no ordinary soldiers. Her side had brought the soldiers, the artillery, and the band. Of course not literally but it was basically people who ranged in strength all over, neverthless she had to stay strong. She had been resting the cosmic link for a while and she knew that today she had to go as hard as she could no matter what. But this time, she wouldn't fight the curse, no mercy would ve given to these people, most were undeserving.
- Hearing the King shout out orders after his sister, she would prepare to fight, this was going to be short one, but surely, it would not lack in a grusome one. Let The Divine Five guide her battles and the ones who she fights alongside with. There were no words at this point, only fighting.
- (Emelth Daganth)
- [14:57:29] Preparations had been made, and to fight here and now within this Skirmish had been something she would do even if it was a threat for her. She was going to work alongside Alexandra even if it meant that they would fall in the process. Though, she did not expect to fall too hard today. With the undead following the woman there into the field of battle, she let her darkening gaze fall over all those whom stood there. It was intimidating, to say the very least, to watch all of the bodies that had appeared for the battle for the West. Pressing her lips together in just a bit of a harsh line, she allowed her glowing gaze to reflect upwards a she gazed at the back of Alexandra's head. She knew what she was doing, and that much she would not deny. But they had not brought enough body-wise to this land.
- The burning of the sands around caused the heat to absorb deeper into the fiber of the cloak that she wore. It'd been some time that she had seen this area, perhaps the very last having been when the massive worm had been slain here. Shifting her feet just so there in the sands, she tilted her head as she stared forward. Her mind did not know how exactly this would go, but she lifted a shimmering hand upwards towards the sky, bathed in the crimson light of Belial's embrace as she watched each and every single person there.
- Belial would watch over this battle, and he would revel in it. And that was exactly what she did not want to see. It was what she feared. And when a high Acolyte had fear?
- All else should have fear as well. They rallied against the wrong cause. However, the words would never fall from her lips. It was up to the angels to handle this chaos now. And it was as simple as that.
- (Aranea)
- [14:58:20] More war, more battle, more bloodshed. The sunlight gracing her skin was of the most bitter kind on this day. Her eyes staring at her kin with sadness, a queen swallowed by the darkest of designs, and for what? For power? There was power in faith, there was power in love, there was power in pace. What was the reason for trying to instigate more war and violence. That question had to be answered sooner than later, the numbers that swelled on the side of the west were large in comparison to that of the east. With that being said, they still had a formidable amount of power on their side, even with the numbers underestimating them would be incredibly foolish.
- "With sunlight and the will of the white cloaks at the helm of my heart, I will find an answer from all of them. Why? Why are they so willing to cause so much strife across the land, what do you have to gain from this kind of lifestyle?" Her frustrations were coupled with a burst of holy fire and cosmic energy, she was angry, but at the same time, she was focused on her targets.
- Hopefully they would leave this place alive, all of them.
- (Akroma Rei)
- [14:58:20] Espa simply looked forward towards his opponents. Sweat forming at his foreheand and finding it's way to his cheeks. He could feel the pressure in the air as well as the baking hot son. It was a day for battle once more, one that Espa wasn't took keen for however Espa had his own agenda.
- Knowing full well of the forces that were marching. A mixture of fear and anger boiled within his heart. He wanted to settle a score. One with none other than the cold hearted woman, with snow white skin and icy blue eyes. " Isis...." He would mutter under his tone. He began to look among Alexandra's army...trying his best to find her before simply getting irritated.
- It was then Espa took a deep breath in before declaring at the top of his lungs " Isis! For what's left of our friendship. You better stay out of this fight! That's the only warning you'll get from me....."
- (Espa Montblanc)
- [14:59:12] "Oh my God."
- Those were literally the first words that escaped the child as he and the other residents of Tilandre caught sight of the opposing force, staring at them with slightly wide eyes.
- This was the war he and his friends were forced to fight in?
- Thousands of thoughts ran through his mind, a majority cursing himself and the terrible situation he was in. But above all of them, two stood out above the rest.
- The one that didn't belong to him, and the one that referred to his friends.
- ".. I don't know, man..," He turned his gaze onto Sylus with a strained smile, beads of sweat forming upon his forehead. He was nervous - that much was clear, but as long as his friends were with him, he would prevail. "But I bet we'll find a lot of valuable stuff..!"
- (Adacore Mack)
- [15:00:03] What transpired throughout the entrance of the gate is the image of the Progenitor. His form indeterminate, forces positioned at the other side surely to harbor consternation. The wickedness that manifested, the depravity dribbled downwards. His observation started to enlarge towards the crowd of enemies. This occurence has a slight possiblity of granting defeat to the forces of Tilandre, and Alteros. . and gifting the Cynthrul his own demise.
- However, this is the perfect opportunity for maturation. Abaddon's occultic powers become apparent. The amorphous creature that continued in a static suspension, overtowering the humanoids. It is time to fight, it is time to reign as a victor. The Cynthrul with utmost morale begins to mobilize forward at the cries of battle.
- It is time for transcendence.
- (Abaddon)
- [15:01:45] Marching along once again, about to reach more battle. She had been away from it for so long, heck, she started a family, for nearly six years she had avoided this, maybe even more, but, here she was. With the forces of Danarium, Frostvale, and even Isthmus along side her, Boyd, Nasargiel, Katiel, everyone. She was going to, once again, put her skill to the test, and fight for her life. Why? No clue, she isn't even a part of the Nivis, or the Glacium, her hatred for the cult, and their allegiance with Tilandre, pushed her forward, ready to attack, and fight against them, the horrible monsters! That killed for sacrifices. She remembered it all, the blood splattering everywhere, she witnessed it in person, before her own eyes.
- The moon cult was terrible. She hated them with all her heart, wished they would just go, wished she could take down Lysandre, and seal the moon god once again, away from them. Soon, over the horizon appeared to be a smaller bunch of people, the people they were going to fight, it seemed. Battle was near, the fight was about to begin as they approached closer, for once, Danarium didn't start a fight, but, that didn't change anything, that just made it better if anything at all!
- "C'mon... We gotta get rid of this skum... THey are NOTHING'! Barely HALF of our men...." kicking up some sand, she reached for the monolith. "I have missed using the monolith... Hopefully we are both still in fighting condition! heh..."
- (Jade Sparra)
- [15:06:52] This was an aloof notion for Boyd, to be alongside those whom he regarded as enemies in the past, for the first time alongside The infernal wings of Bastet as well as, albeit perhaps he was unnoticed, Sebastian. The Transcendant Blade would withdraw, a bit of disappointment as he finally dissuaded the aloofness, there was a certain lack of a 'tall and gruesome' character he was eager to get the chance to tear into.
- A shame he wouldn't get the opportunity today, he wasn't getting younger at all. Boyd simply remained, at any rate, focussed upon the opposite side of battle. Mana gingerly coursing as his attention remained upon the opposite side of warriors. "A land of failed expectations. . ." A simple phrase as he shook his head, two cities musterred and these were all the magi that were musterred?
- Although, in the far back, that was a peculiar yokai. His blade remained firmly angled, who all was there before the army? Who could tell realy. All that remained was to see whom would be engaged by who.
- (Boyd Montblanc)
- {NARRATION} People who are not at their appropriate side may not get matched when the admins come to them.
- [15:26:30] Karine runs onto the field, panting. She frowns- she ended up delayed by far too many factors out of her control. She pants as she comes to a halt, sword sheathed.

- [16:11:44] Chaos and confusion.
- The battlefield was ripe with horror. Men and woman fight at all corners - Steel against steel. Magic against magic. Katiel loses Nasargiel in the chaoes, wandering idly and tripping over the fallen. Her senses were screaming - noise was amplified should it make its way inside of the bucket helm. And when a sword makes contact with the back of her head - The metal glangs, and rings out.
- Katiel zaps about randomly, groaning and scrunching her face from the pain. It was there she lands in the middle of a spar breaking out - Four of the participants on her side of the war. Katiel stands up and glances about, noting the depravity radiating off the corpses before her. She was about to fight a Necromancer.
- Idle visions of Zombie ponies swell.
- (Katiel Melym)
- [16:12:35] The Malpercian would have heard the clanking of steel and blades as the battle began, and would have quickly dashed forth to join it. Violet hues glanced all around towards the field, seeing normal people fight with blades and other such weapondry, and the Malpercian would fall quiet simply walking calmly through the desert sand.
- Eventually however, battle would befall him as well. The Vindicator would remain silent as not one, not two, but five magi appeared, all seemingly heading towards his dierction to do combat. Such was.. intimidating to say the least. But the occultic power would flare around the Malpercian.
- He wouldn't let it turn out like the last five magi who fought as one unit against it would he? Undead follower would surge forth, readying their blades as a deep breath was taken, the violet eyed man preparing for the battle that would soon arrive.
- The scent of depravity hung high in the air, as did the exictment towards the war.. Who would win? Who would lose?... All would be revealed in time. "I'll make this interesting at least..."
- (Spike Malpercius)
- [16:13:26] Having being effectively healed and taken care of, Caius finds himself rushed into the upcoming battle that would take place near his very home town. There was an ominous wind blowing through the prarie lands at this point, and the straw-hat that ill-fit the young lad was threatening to fly off. A hand was planted firmly upon the base of Caius' head in order to anchor the hat correctly, finding himself engaging in what would presumably be a chaotic battle. Nervousness, fear, and an almost unshakable amount of paranoia wafted around this youth, and he noted the vast age differences against him and his potential opponents. He was but a nine year old, being pit against forces of which appeared at least three times his ages!
- Not to mention the people he ended up fighting with. He stayed out of the brawls and battles for the most part, but ended up being separated in a skirmish against other magi, fortunate to have comrades with him in this instance. Unfortunately, the looming figure that radiated occult magic nearby terrified the shit out of him! He appeared imposing, and Caius uncomfortably stood beside this man as he observes the approaching forces.
- "I...I dont' really wanna do this.." He mumbles, his features hidden beneath the shadowed cowl of his straw hat. The young lad usually strayed from throwing himself into battles that he was unsure he could win, and he preferred to observe rather than act. Yet there was this growing confidence within him that was just yearning to escape. The temporary mark of Belial was emblazoned upon his right palm, often times staring down at the afflicted area, despite it being properly bandaged and hidden upon request.
- At the very least, he was comforted in knowing he had a friend accompanying him in this obscure battle, unsure if their lack of numbers would benefit them against the five fighters before them. His legs spread apart readily, confused, lost, and more than certainly afraid..but he was also confident that he had been training enough to make an impact.
- Fire sprouts from his body as shimmering heat waves coil around the lad, his hands being enwrapped in a beautiful array of orange-red fire. He had Adriane to return to, and he would not abandon his friends. And with this in mind, he was prepared to give it his all!
- "My soul is burning red, and I'm charged up! Let's our best, Ada'!!!" He calls out, his rather shrill, unmatured voice almost being comical in a sense. But that fire in his eyes told them to take him seriously! Or...or get a fireball in the face!
- (Caius Hirano)
- [16:16:51] Things had gone from bad to worse.
- Somehow, in the midst of all the fighting, he had gotten seperated from Sylus. Now forced against a small scale fight against a larger, opposing group, he couldn't help but be scared. He was just a kid, after all, forced into a war that he knew nothing about until literal hours before.
- But his opponents didn't care about that - at least, that was what the voice in his head said.
- Strangely enough, as much as he hated it, he found it somewhat comforting having it with him. A familiar thing in an area full of strangers and dangers. Even if that familiar thing was urging him to preform horrid deeds.
- Submit, child.. You're guarenteed victory if you do.
- He clenched his fist and mumbled, "Shut up."
- You won't be able to protect your friends if you're dead..
- He grit his teeth and spoke a bit louder, "Shut up..!"
- Submit, child! Submit or DIE!
- Exploding with a power yet to be displayed to his friends and with an aura of pure maliciousness, the child screamed, thrusting both hands forward whilst he unleashed surge after surge of lightning. "SHUT UP!"
- The fight was on, and it was do or die time.
- (Adacore Mack)
- [16:18:33] The battle was here, she could feel the blood in her body pump vigorously as she stared down her opponent. The man who defeated Demeter, who was she to be willing to take this man on in all his dark powers. All she could feel was a solemn sadness, this war, this situation, all of it was needless, if they could only live their lives in peace rather than disrupt the flow of the world's goodness. She gripped the sunlight sword's hilt as tightly as she could, the force of the sun began to channel through her mana circuits.
- As it's power swelled to an apex she released the holy fire magic building up in her body, a wave of heat washed over the area with a feeling of calmness projecting from her body. She lowered her body and tightened her stance, speed was going to be her key to victory in this bout, and with her allies behind her nothing would stop them from victory. "I believe in all of you, no matter what happens, we need to fight together as one unit, we are champions of the way of light, a hope of peace in a world ruined by strife and evil."
- The swords magic began to whisper in her ear, echos of the past rang to the core of her bones as sunlight began to radiate from her skin. She felt powerful, she felt safe, she felt confident. Here eyes looked over at her allies with a smile, her fairy companion clutching to her breast plate and feeding her with delicate fairy magic. "Don't worry Li, no matter what happens, I will keep you safe from harm, just help me fight with all the might you can muster and then maybe, just maybe, we can succeed in our endeavor.
- "Everyone, you know your target, we have to attack quickly before they can swell in numbers." The necromancers magic was so foul, the depravity though faint to her senses, still gave her a sick feeling inside of her stomach. What was his aim, what was the aim for any of them? It was a question she would soon find in the heat of battle. With poise and grace she swiftly ejected herself from her position and into the battlefield in a haze of speed and sunlight.
- The battle was now.
- (Akroma Rei)
- [16:19:24] It was in the heat of the moment, following a group of people that seeminlgy were on his side he absorbed the Earth and made it one with his skin, placing the protective barrier on his body.
- Then he took the staff from his back and pointed it at the man with the shield and the Aura of Darkness. He was surrounded by warriors, not normal warriors.
- Those warriros looked strange, they didn't have any eyelids. Just normal zombies who fought with their summoner, a sigh escaped his lips, there was probably nothing he could do against this. If he were to fight, he'd fight with his full power.
- Holding back was out of the question, if he made eve one mistake he could already die. Rethinking about his choice of auras, he snapped his fingers as a Holy Aura surrounded him. If he were to take a lot of damage, then he'd shift back into his Earth Aura.
- (Mephis Talos)
- [16:21:07] Battle. She had avoided it for many years, and now, she was back in action, her sword on her hands, the monolith, forged by her father, rock, mithril, Orichalium. Hard work was put into this blade, and now it was hers, owned by her, wielded by her, used by her, fought with, by her. She wouldn't fight without it. With it in her hands, it felt as if her father was with her, fighting with her till the end, helping her, continuing to push her further, allowing her to show her strength, to put it to good use, to use her power to demolish her opponents. SHe wasn't going to become a person like her father, but, she would become as strong as her father, fighting in wars to protect what she had, and end what she hated. Using powerful forces against her enemies, to ultimately, crush them in battle.
- “Nice to be here again. War, battle, metal striking metal. Battle cries echoing throughout the land. It is time to fight… Heh It's been awhile, hasn't it. Now, win again!” she said, clenching her fists onto the massive rock, and metal blade, her mana flowing into the sword, causing it to glow, turning a different color, heating up, and soon, becoming a new substance. a blade of magma in her hands, held together by her magic. Soon, it had began, many people charging forward into the fight, blades striking armor, and other blades, spells being thrown across the battlefield, some healing, some damaging…
- “Back in action, today, I fight again!” a small smirk on her face, she rushed forward, Kids. Why were there kids in the midst of a battle. Her father prevented her from being like that, and acting so dumb, and fighting at a young age, threatening to KILL HER if she stepped foot in the battlefield. They should be scared of war, not be in it. The ground rose, climbing up her sin as she glred to the people around her, non mages clearing a path for her, as waves of fire shot forward.
- “Move. I don't want yah there, make way…” she said, many people falling into the fire, and burning, their armor melting to their skin, as it burned away. The earth was now covering her skin, and Jade’s eyes lit with fire, readying her mind, and her body to fight again, putting her in a place to crush her opponents. The rock began to glow red, along with her sword, melting, soon, a light orange color, all around her body, along with patched of earth.
- Her Magna aura, she hadn't used it to fight for a long time, it felt good on her skin, a calming, easing feeling overcame her as it covered her body. “C’mon, why the hell did they put KIDS on the battlefield?! I ain't holding back anyway…” she muttered, charging forward, at her opponents.

- [16:25:23] Espa would take a deep breath in as he looked around the place, curious to see a group of people standing before him. One was none other than Spike. A man he never truly met but knew far too much about as well as his capabilities. As for the others it was none other than mere children.
- A sigh left his mouth, Epsa wasn't fond of children fighting in wars in the slightest despite the fact that he, himself grew up in battle. Perhaps that was exactly why he hated seeing kids in war. Taking a deep breath in, Espa would then stance himself. Energy beginning to form around his being in the form of an aura. His skin beginning to glow even brighter than before....yes that's actually a thing.
- Taking firm hold of Anduril, Espa looked around before stancing himself. He wasn't sure about the rest of his allies but among the people before him. There was only one he was certain that was deserving of judgement and that was Spike. With that in mind, he prepared his body, mind and soul to fight.
- " Akroma, Katiel, Jade and....kid. Fight smart and safely and whatever you do, don't take risks. This isn't your average spar. This is war and our survival comes first before their downfall. If you all understand that well....let's get this over with. I left the stove on after all "
- (Espa Montblanc)

- [16:27:05] {combat} Adacore Mack has been defeated by Espa Montblanc! They're unable to continue fighting.
- [16:27:05] {combat} Caius Hirano has been defeated by Espa Montblanc! They're unable to continue fighting.
- [[Note: This was a two round RPB, but we didn’t write another red text to save time.]]
- [16:31:21] {combat} Espa Montblanc has been defeated by Caius Hirano! They're unable to continue fighting.
- [16:33:04] {combat} Spike Malpercius has been defeated by Akroma Rei! They're unable to continue fighting.
- [16:33:04] {combat} Caius Hirano has been defeated by Jade Sparra! They're unable to continue fighting.
- [16:45:00] And without much surprise, Caius found himself on the losing end of this battle, as dealing with multiple, older, stronger opponents was bound to do that to a youth. His efforts wre valiant, and he had done his best to make some sort of effort, there was only so much an unarmed child could do against such forces. The lad lobbed waves of fire at his opponents, but had been unfortunately beaten down on multiple occasions, taking on varying wounds from magical attacks. Luckily, no one saw fit to try slashing him in half, or cleaving him in two entirely! A wall of hardened rock shot upward, catching Caius straight in the gut as he flew backward, ending up going into a nasty tumble a few feet off, more than likely forgotten momentarily, with the cloud of war going on ahead.
- While lying prone, he coughed weakly, curling into a ball as he clutched his stomach, and began to question why he even came here. What was he fighting for, and why did it even matter to him? He was nine years old, with his entire life ahead of him..and he had risked his life for a Queen whom barely spoke to him half the time. Perhaps it was to test himself in these events, to see if he could become stronger through them.
- Whether or not his growth was sped up through combat against these elder mages remained unseen at the moment, as he was currently coughing heavily as he crawls off from the fighting. With the rest of his comrades thoroughly defeated, a sound retreat was the only option, deciding to follow behind Spike as he half-stumbled and ran from the finished battle.
- "O-o-owww...Not fun, not fun." He wheezes, falling forward on more than one occasion as he acquired heavy bruising upon his body. Possibly a fractured rib from the impact. Childish tears well up, and he focuses on meeting back up with Adriane in order to pull through the pain, and get himself out of this horrid situation. They were outnumbered, and evidently out-skilled in this match-up, but they all got away! That's always a plus, right? And so, Caius shifts through the throngs of men and women on the battlefield, hastily blasting fireballs at random opponents that attempted to make their way to his weakened form.
- "I'm not gonna die here, no way...I got Mister Belial watchin' my back, and I gotta protect people dear to me!" He mumbles, the unfortunate victims still quite alive, albeit on fire. It illuminated his features, and his face took on a slightly dark expression.
- War was a terrible thing, for a child. The roiling animosity could change a lad, and it might have impacted Caius negatively.
- (Caius Hirano)
- [16:45:52] Now this was definately painful.
- But was to be expected. The sounds of war came from all sides during the battle, crashing against his steel and other things as the Malpercian would be care not to think about, the man simply attempting to defeat the foes before him. A deep breath was taken, having flame and darkness collide with each and every foe, but for the firt round, it proved not enough.
- More then that however, even his undead would be unresponsive. The creatures simply continued to and throw with their attacks as Spike collided with five differnt magi. On the bright side there were some kids who assited him with the battle but.. Five magi against some kids and an aging man certainly didn't seem to be good for him.
- The second round would be much the same way, the Malpercian being knocked down after only bringing one magi to their knees. A most difficult situation, one that somewhat caused for wounds to cover the armor that he wore.. But not one that was all together hopeless.
- Upon being brought to his knees, the Malpercian glanced to the left and right towards the children magi who had fought with him... There would be a silence, focusing as surely the other magi would come for their heads.. And so the Malpercian did something that he hoped he would never have to do..
- Over powered and injured a bit from the battle the man would make a quick grab towards his allies before turning around. Within instants a depravity spewing rift woud have come into existance, and stepping through it the Malpercian would attempt to lead the children out of harms way to safety..
- They were brave soilders after all.. Should protect them to live another day.
- (Spike Malpercius)
