  4.
  5. It's that time again, It's my birthday! Third year running of my 5 day speedrunning marathon, featuring: Me!
  6. Starting a day before my birthday then ending on Sunday
  7. I will be doing marathon commentary throughout while Emma will be donation reading
  8.
  9. --------------------------------
  10. -- The Runs/Schedule --
  11. --------------------------------
  12.
  13. tl;dr Lots of GTA, mostly GTA:SA, 12 hour streams
  14.
  15. Each day will run for roughly 12 hours; from 10AM to 10PM UK time. Then during the night from 10PM to 10AM UK time the previous 12 hours will be rerun so you should be able to watch it all (and to give me time to sleep).
  16. A lot of the runs I haven't done in ages so they're probably going to be awful trainwreck runs, but hopefully in a fun way.
  17. There's also a couple fan favourite non-GTA games, but they're early in the morning so the GTA only bois don't get bored
  18.
  19. ----------------------------
  20. -- Donations/Goals --
  21. ----------------------------
  22.
  23. tl;dr Money goes to me, despite my feelings about it, please don't give me money if you need it or don't want to, if I somehow make more than £3k I'll donate the excess to a charity
  24.
  25. I feel bad for saying it but: All donations will be going to me, and (probably) not a charity like other speedrun marathons. While I would love to support a charity (Like Charity: Water or Doctors Without Borders) I also need an income.
  26. I spend a fair amount of on my time and money each year supporting ESA as the Fundraising team leader (and other speedrun marathons/charity events), and I think it's probably economically and logically best if I keep my charity efforts strictly to that and keep my own personal stream as my own personal work and income.
  27.
  28. Also like I said in previous years pastebins, I feel a once a year sellout fest is better for my kind of content (along with Twitch Bounties) and keep my normal streams the way they are as I feel like a major draw to my stream is it's *UN*professional-ness. It's just me, chilling, doing what I want when I want, with no sponsor logos or "PLZ SUBSCRIBEZZ" or anything like that. If I did choose to finally partner with some companies or beg for subscribers then I'm not sure what impact that would have on me or my current style of streaming.
  29.
  30. I'm trying my best to provide good #CONTENT for your money. I'll be streaming 8-12 hours a day for a week, I've put a ton of work into the schedule, layouts, stream tech etc. The donation goals are all the change the last, big run of the marathon into various forms of Chaos and Rainbowizer, and I've managed to convince Emma to read every single donation we receive as we receive them (unless the messages are bad ofc).
  31.
  32. However with all that said, I will say that my financial situation is nowhere near as bad as it has been in the past. If I didn't get the near £3000 I did the first year I'm not sure what I would've done, however this year (without starting a sob story etc etc) I'm *less* behind on my debt/bills and stuff, so if I get given a crazy amount of money (like more £3k) then I will give the excess to a charity.
  33.
  34. This year we have the following donation goals:
  35.
  36. <£500 - Chaos Mod
  37. £500 - + Voice Line Randomiser
  38. £1000 - + Cosmetic Randomiser
  39. £2000 - + Gameplay Randomiser
  40. £3000 - + Experimental Randomiser (will likely crash/softlock/prevent progress!)
  41.
  42. So the first goal will start at £500, if this is reached the final run of the marathon will include the Voice Line Randomiser.
  43. Then if £1000 is reached I'll add in all the Cosmetic Randomiser stuff, etc etc.
  44. Whatever goal is reached at the end of the stream on Saturday will be what I will do on Sunday.
  45. The final £3000 is the enable all the experimental settings in the Rainbowizer mod, which will be really cool but also be a nightmare for me since it'll cause so many issues :D
  46.
  47. Also there's a couple sub goals:
  48.
  49. 800 Subs = New emote slot (I'll add an emote that's good)(Also I'll think of a better goal for this hopefully)
  50. 1000 Subs = Learn 100% GTA:SA (JDQ:JL1P Josh Learns 100 Percent)
  51.
