(Note 1: It has come to our attention that, unfortunately, some of the culprits mentioned below somehow acquired access to this list, all thanks to an immature moderator who took some things personal with us. Well, it had to happen eventually. Anyway, any of these people mentioned below may now attempt to put you off it. So have caution. That's all I can say.)

First and foremost, as the title suggests, this is confidential; so please do not reveal this to anyone or talk to anyone about it. Since you're doing a giveaway, there is something that perhaps you should know beforehand. It's a little effort in an attempt to make giveaways a better experience for both the giver and the taker, and to ensure that only the deserving people get these gifts. There are people who cheat in giveaways and many of them have been found, verified and compiled into a list. So here goes:

All of them are not only big game key hoarders, but they try to grab multiple keys even for games that they already own, just so to use them for trading and/or selling. They also do often activate them on their multiple other Steam accounts to level them up so they can have multiple entries in subreddits like /r/GiftofGames, and on sites like Steamgifts. Agree that there are so many of these, but that's how it is, unfortunately. They'll stop at nothing when it comes to grabbing keys from every giveaway on reddit, even if they already own those games.



P.S: I've been hearing it a lot lately so I need to address this: Please keep in mind that comment history alone is not indicative of anything. Those who only post in giveaways are not necessarily cheaters. There are numerous silent readers with legit accounts on Reddit. Similarly, those having accounts that "look" like they are active in other subreddits, are not by default legit. Many of these users I have listed have some accounts that may seem legit as they sometimes post in other subreddits to fool the givers, and they are years old as well. That doesn't nullify the fact that they cheat in giveaways and try to hoard game keys. For one thing, I'd advise allowing accounts at least 3-4 months old. But do keep in mind that the legitimacy of an account doesn't really have much to do with how it is.

P.S(2): I can only warn you about the cheaters. Whether you choose to believe me or not and what you want to do with your giveaway is entirely up to you. You are not being forced to follow this. As stated before, the goal here is only to try to make giveaways as clean as possible. In any case, please do not reveal this list nor my name to anyone. A lot of time and effort went into this. If these cheaters got to know about this, they'll become extra cautious and thus, would be extremely hard to trace out.
