- The passage of time changed the fledgling: the curse grew stronger, sinking its roots steadily into him. One who suffered the turning might've felt as if it could go no further into them. The spirit was torn asunder, soul damned to a fate of unending carnage and malice; for some it was an idyllic destinies, for others it meant being forsaken. Abdul could see it as neither - few thoughts were clear since rising from the dead.
- With his maturation as a nightkin however came glimmers of intelligence. He could remember things- first of which, blood; Azraelic altars slathered in the blood of criminals and worse were the most vibrant memories of his former life, with all recollections of violence following soon after. He recalled seas of ghouls, the murder of countless guards, and yet so much blood from his time as an Oscuri- all of it wasted.
- But as he remembered, as his patience deepend to an extent and his ability to think could reach farther, he also recalled that he had once been different. Empty, web-like channels across his skin now seemed... incomplete. They felt like vessels and he could distinctly remember power once being within. Oddly, as he thought of the bloodied altars from his past, he could remember a time when he turned what was once inside them into strength.
- But Rieka was a strange concept to him now. The green light was inexplicable- he was not capable of conjuring it now, not in the slightest. But he remembered something other than just the blood and violence... a bony figure, looming over him twice, a being that was somehow 'good' in ways the vampire couldn't remember presently. As he wandered the woods for blood, followed closely by a peculiar black direwolf that had taken to him, he stared at his hands rather than his path.
- Glove-bound, he kept trying to flick them outwards, to release conjurations of Rieka. In doing so he merely repeated what his muscles remembered- but nothing came forth. He grumbled momentarily before pausing, eyes shifting ahead- a human laid in view.
- His bestial eyes widened, breath drawing tight as his right hand immediately reached for the hilt of his blade.
- (Abdul Haruke)
- It was yet another one of Saifex's patrols into Bygonegrove, straying not from Byson's territory, but for one of the outlying villiages that laden within its jurisdiction-- These miniature villages were troubled with numerous Yokai interuptions of miniscule scale, and a sparse quantity of banditry sightings amongst the forest linings.
- The seven foot Pureblood wandered amongst the forest floor, challenging youthful foliage with raw height of his own stature. So far, all one's journeying has rewarded, was nothing but sounds of disturbed brush, the whine of ambiguious insects and cryptids that rendered themselves concealed in the forest's shroud. Though, as his search prior left him across several other wanderers, if not traders, he happened to land his sights upon a direwolf.
- It wasn't something he had grown to note within this setting, but not to be outright ousted as a native possibility. However, an Omega, so far from the western regions, felt odd.. Was there an owner nearby? Emerald hues scoured over to a nearby personage, whom had seemingly took notice of him prior to his own knowledge of such presence. As for the true identity to such entity, he knew not-- Thus, only stared back in silence, awaiting for the next move to properly brand them as friend or foe midst these woods.
- Banditry were common, and rogue magus were not to be excluded-- However, there was no proof as to what this encounter was, and thus, he couldn't jump to conclusions just yet.
- Reptillian pupils attempted to pierce the gaze of the hooded individual, failing to percieve any facial details...
- Movement from their form, left his pursuing gaze to follow a right hand descend for the hilt of their blade; The weaponless Tsuchi, merely stood in wait...
- "Running from the law?" He queried, "Or perhaps paranoid." He assumed, awaiting an apt reply.
- (Saifex Tsuchi)
- The pureblood's words were far from immediately disarming; though they made some sense, the vampire could not bring himself to give the red-haired mortal a second of pause- he wanted blood, he wanted it now and they were an immediate threat. Abdul's pallid fingers gripped tight about the hilt of his scavenged blade and drew it from its leathery scabbard with a crude, swift hiss of metal slicing through air.
- Revealed was a serrated, rusty blade- its edge was fresh and free of corossion, clearly altered recently to possess countless sawteeth. Still hooded, the fledgling braced his feet against the ground and scanned Saifex swiftly- a sharp and malign gaze searched him in that time for any sign of weakness, any route by which the blood drinker might immediately purchase injury upon them.
- The curse of cain thrummed within Abdul's emptied, greyish leylines- dire want for blood quivered through him. A twist of Depravity in the air and the shadows of nearby trees were pulled toward him, before being released- the distortion of his surroundings muddled all sight of him for just a second, concealing his advance! The vampire lunged forward in a whirr of steel and unholy flesh, sword readied. He'd dive forward in an immediate horizontal slash aimed at the Drakanite's chest if not somehow thwarted.
- (Abdul Haruke)
- Saifex's visage portrayed one's depreciated mood with the depressed curl of the lips, branding a frown towards the man whom failed to disarm one's self. It seemed as though, Saifex may've said the wrong words... Or perhaps, this was just an anamoly-- Though, he was prepared to succumb to a possessive moment of deep thought, he found the ring of the blade's metallic edge, licking at the air, far too distracting.
- There was no internal peace he could harbinge in the wake of a potential assailant; Thus, he stood ready, sliding his left leg back as Abdul braced a stance of his own. He was under evaluation, just as he sought out to percieve the very intentions, and purpose of this mysterious warrior.
- "Who are you?" He interrogated, a fierce expression adopted upon his face. The only echo one recieved in the sound-off of his demand, was a sweeping wave of depravity-- Inpercievable to the naked eye, but present to one whom harbored its very opposite within his soul. It left him to cringe to a miniscule extent, disturbed-- However, it wasn't anything he had felt, worse than before-- Not worse than that of Mormegil's inhabitants, nor Byson's, it was something he could resist for the moment.
- A blink from the Drakanite, and the scene unfolded, in a flash!
- Eyelids parted to reveal the Vampire, having closed the distance with extreme velocity, lashing the blade out for his Aegis-armored chestplate. He grit his teeth, a strained grunt irked from his gullet, as he contorted at his body to narrowly evade the strike.. Though, to have achieved such, would've been a fluke-- One, that would earn a sequence of conflict betwixt Vampire and alleged vampire slayer.
- (Saifex Tsuchi)
- The vampire's heels immediately thudded into the ground near Saifex; though the initial blow was evaded Abdul's heels were pressed next to the Drakanite's own, cutting off any further evasion: a swift and punctual lunge of Abdul's hooded head struck against Saifex's own with an audible thud of bone against bone, sending them staggering backward before a gush of flame separated him from his adversary.
- Though Abdul had the first strike, he had not drawn first blood entirely- wailing walls of fire as tall as trees screamed toward him, roaring with the explosive expansion of hot air ripping through the Bygonegrove! The resulting blast of fire loosed such potent air currents where Abdul stood that the leaves were torn away from all surrounding trees, with the vampire himself forced to dissolve into a mass of sanguinous mist and fleshy pulp to evade much of the incendiary destruction.
- With the initial cascade of flame survived however the red fog quickly pushed outward- moving in an amoeba-like crawl it bent around trees and shrubs to surround the Drakanite, coalescing back into flesh within the blink of an eye. The vampire now stood before Saifex, serrated blade lowered and then thrusted upward through a gap in the Tsuchi's chestplates.
- Only two inches of steel would penetrate Saifex, the rest simply too thick to pass through a mere chink in armor- the clash of metal against metal from there loosed a sharp ringing pang of steel, sending the redhead upward with the sheer force of the inhuman thrust. The pureblood Drakanite would be left to sail well over a dozen feet into the air, landing a similar distance away with damaged armor and a fresh wound.
- Abdul wasn't undamaged however; burns were visible on his person, albeit they undulated with an unholy, bubbling quality... if peered at very intently it might've seemed that they were shrinking.
- (Abdul Haruke)
- A blade met his chest, widening his eyes and leaving him with gaping maws-- Breath left his form, and he fell at the mercy of the vampire's might. Teeth bit down, clenching in resistance to the inflicted pain; The acts pulled off, from the immense speed and unprovoked hostility left him to assume a possibility of dangers, but the mist left him invisible to Saifex for the few moments of conflict prior-- A similar tactic of battle he had witnessed when coming across Yyn...
- But, what was to separate Abdul from a deranged water magus with immensely potent aquamancy? A heave upon his physique forced him to sail through the airs, processing the scenario at-hand as he soared through the air. Never had he come across such brute strength in years... It left him with reason enough to retaliate with adequate force used... But wouldn't it risk the lives of those whom may have looked onward in this labyrinthine forest?
- The scene played out in slow-motion, beads of his own blood ascended with him, latching to his face and armor. Albeit, in the heat of the moment, he had time to ponder on this, merely due to one's mind attempting to break down the situation, processing it with grandiose strain. In the midst of such aerial suspension, though it was soon to meet its end, he found himself unable to idle on the possibility that this personage wasn't an immediate threat, if not to the population of Byson, to himself.
- He plummeted for soiled distant from his opponent, instantly spawning a cloud of tangerine conflagrations from the crevices of his armor and pores of his flesh, fed with the constant supply of permeating mana from his core. It lashed out at the surroundings, forestry only partially marring the beauty of the Bygonegrove's lush greenery.
- Though Saifex stood as a masterful pyromancer, the blaze he manifested, rollicked at its own volition; Though, they lacked contact with the remaining brush that swayed in the generated breeze, carpeting the magus' surroundings with a shock wave of discharged energy.
- The blast of pyromancy brought him to mild ascension, only enough to make a flashy rise to his feet. The stricken Aegis armor now branded to marks upon it, both vaguely forming a cross at the center of his chest-plate. The vertical strike proved true to the flesh beneath, leaving a lining of vermilion to ooze from the etching.
- "Alright then.." He seemed, evidently peeved, tone incremented until apt for the solemn expression he adopted, transforming with the growth of his flames into the avid warrior he was hiding from the battlefield until now.
- "If that's how you want to play it, so be it. You wanna fight?" The flames that shrouded his person flaired, towering for the skies above to taint the immediate scape with an array of saffron.
- "Then, here. I. COME!
- A flash of aurelian illuminated the immediate scene, propelling the Drakanite with a jet of fiery light-- The intent, mean't to power his reeled fist, cuffed with his own blaze, into the flesh of the vampiric foe.
- (Saifex Tsuchi)
- A jet of flame rushed for Abdul- nay, it was an entire swathe of flame, a perpetual pyre as bright as a life lived passionately. The vampire recognized the sheer potency of the master pyromancer; his magic would not be easily trumped, and he stood up almost unhindered from a blow that would've slaughtered lesser men. Recognizing danger the vampire's eyelids narrowed slightly on the male... Abdul was just a fledgling, unable to push much harder than he already was.
- But he had also driven back Saifex at least with well over half his stamina remaining- he was confident that he could win. Somewhere, his instincts told him it might've been better to flee and battle this man another day when he could dine on him for certain- but as Saifex rushed ahead, leaving a trail of embers and burned destruction where graceful flora once knew, Abdul impulsively knew it was just too late for hesitation. Fight or flight was a decision he had already made!
- The vampire's footing shifts, rotating him to face his right side towards the blazing Drakanite; Abdul's left hand releases the hilt of his saw-sword, whilst the other rotated it around so that its tip points toward the bloodied, fire-torn soil beneath them. With his other hand reinforcing the flat of the blade, the Tsuchi's blow is blocked with great difficulty; the danger is not in the blow itself, but the indefatigable flames roaring around it.
- Fire licks at the vampire's flesh, even as he minimizes what might reach him by facing the Drakanite with just his side- yet he remains where he is put. He took the gamble of attacking this man in a desperate bid for blood and survival- with another gamble, the vampire braves the flames, pushing against the other's blocked fist and retaliating with a swift yet crude diagnol slash backed by the strength of over a hundred mundane men!
- (Abdul Haruke)
- The gamble is a success; a flurry of mundane sparks gushes from Saifex, followed soon by blood, as a shallow but no doubt painful gash is carved into him quickly by the saw-like sword. Blood splashes backwards toward Abdul - splattering over his visage and burned flesh, soon to be greedily lapped at by his ever so parched tongue. "Nrrggghh- RAAAAHHH!" Howls the vampire in a fit of rage, senses tantalized by the taste of one modest blood splatter.
- A barrel of flame blasts directly into his chest- Saifex's fiery spellcraft is honed, his skills and aim refined, and though a sharp predator in his own right the fledgling is reckless and hasty; Abdul suffers a spiral torrent of flame washing over him, shrieking out in utter anguish as his outer layer of skin and shallow tissue is swiftly burned away- but before the damage can proceed further, the male absolutely vanishes.
- There is no rift or exertion of mana- only a displacement of air, as a blur moving at absolutely impossible speeds tackles Saifex. Abdul's form slams into him with such force that the man is forced down upon the ground- the vampire's fingers dig into his chestpiece, ripping it away and flinging it aside before the vampire absolutely gorges for a moment on the male's already lacerated torso. Abdul's fangs bite sharply into the Drakanite where he's already torn, and to abate resistance, he repeatedly punches at the male with cruelly hard blows into his ribs and forehead.
- But even so it doesn't last long; after a tiny drink, a burst of flame forces the vampire backwards once more, sending him rolling backward- his sword pried from his hands and his hair aflame! The moment the nightkin strikes ground he rolls frantically in an instinctive distaste for being set ablaze, until the flames atop his head are extinguished. In a swift blur of motion, he snatched his scavenged blade from the ground and rushes at the Drakanite once more!
- (Abdul Haruke)
- The Drakanite backpedalled some, a visage cringing in anguish, in pain, unforgiving for every mistake he ployed in combat. The Tsuchi's stamina was running dangerously low, leaving his legs to tremble, weight to falter, and finally gravity to prevail!
- He fell to a single knee, leaving his willpower to dwindle in question. The sanguine essence of his mortal form stained the lacerated flesh, exposed for all to see.
- It was clear to Saifex now, that this was no ordinary magus. This, was infact, a vampire: A monster of the depraved ilk, specialized undead that proved their numbers to be the Bane of humanity its continued existance. This was the same evil, he expelled from Byson, and before him, he came to a situation where life and death were toiled on scale-- Hoshijin phased into his perception, ethernal to his gaze, ready to accept his soul for eternial rest. A rest, he'd spend within a purifying star for the rest of his conscious existence.
- A fallen head, to a defeated stature allowed a final parting sigh, seemingly succumbing to the demise that clutched at his weakened soul, so sparingly...
- . . .
- "No!
- The voice was aroused from within, beckoning forth a lashed head to flail idling locks of hair, liberating them from his visage to leave him with undisturbed sight upon his foe. An infuriated expression, unwilling to accept death here, glared unto the rushing vampire, rising to his feet once more as the distance was swiftly closed. There was no immediate rush to his defense, no evasive manuevers in ploy, and no personage to appear to his aid...
- The casting of an innate spell, unique to the Drakanite kindred, initiated upon the vampire's lapsed distance-- Leading way for the conjuration of a sole strand of lightning, stroking from the heavens above, hurdling down unto the Draconic warrior awaiting below. The flash itself, was unnatural, unparalleled to electromancing artistry-- Though, not unfamiliar to those whom amassed knowledge on the Drakanite race.
- The bolt struck upon Saifex, illuminating his physique, and blackening what remained into a silhuoette plastered upon a blank slate, withering with the passing seconds, until voided into oblivion. A crackle thundered throughout the forestry, and churned at the earth, booming from underfoot and even intimidating the numbers of wilderness that remained. A quake, though short-lived in comparison to a terramancer's might, was complemented with the ascending pitch of a warrior's battlecry within. An explosion resulted, pulsating dust and debris in all direction, constantly buffeting at the trees that remained standing, albeit charred, and tearing up at hardened rock by sturdy feet. The vocal residue of one's shout riveted through the air in withering echoes, fading into the background. The flash of raw energy, tore away at the landscape, reducing the treeline into ascending ashes, and casting enough force to hopefully delay, if not push the assailing Abdul backwards long enough to reveal the final result.
- Abdul had managed to awaken the Tsuchi's hidden potence, prior to breaking a threshold barred beneath the Drakan's surface. The light began to subside, leaving a silhouette to idle in the midst of a small crater..
- As details were uncovered, appearance was clearly changed, as was the flux of potency within their form.
- A pair of Draconic horns curled from their forehead, whilst a pair of reptilian wings stretched out from their folded stature. The muscularity of the warrior was exaggerated to mild extent, carpeted with veins and pulsating flesh. Every inch of his form was stressed to exercise the pinnacle of his form, though, not overdone, to prevent from slowing himself down.
- Another notable detail, was the inferno that swathed about his figure, having transcended the color spectrum to adopt a sapphire hue. The heat, was surprisingly vacant of his form; No longer were they simplistic fires of his emotion... But of the very soul, and powered by Will.
- A rise of the head brought a solemn glare mised upon the Harukean-- The same glare he shared by many Tsuchi before him...
- "...You want a taste?" He asked in cold tone, contradicting the peppy and passionate stereotype of pyromancer behavior.
- "...Well, come on.. Come get some.." He taunted, a stern expression beckoned the Vampire to try once more, facing Abdul with the same power utilized against Yyn.
- A risen right arm, flexed fingers into a solid palm, taking up an odd form of physical casting...
- "Incendiary Art:" He uttered, initiating a foreign means of pyromancy. A small sphere emanated from the core of his palm, manifested, and slowly amounting in circumference until it challenged the length of his stretched fingers. Tangerine static conflicted with the sheer magnitude of the energy charged within his possession-- Soon, the screech of the fabrication hissed at the air; A sphere of nigh solidified flames, transcending down the color spectrum to imitate energy magic hovered in within his grasp, prepared to be launched for the vampire.
- "Draconic Typhoon Technique.." He finished smoothly, as grave as he'd ever be in the heat of battle. The sphere surrendered to the sparked urge of combustion, erupting into a pillar of volcanic power, tearing away at the earth and inscribing a charred scar upon its surface. The beam of raw pyromancing power, bee-lined for Abdul, likely to continue rummaging for the background environment to consume without prejudice given the opportunity. Thankfully, for the vampire, the blast was slower-moving than it was destructive, allowing for one to evade its wrath-- To gaze upon the raw power unleashed.
- ...Regardless of the action, the Tsuchi was likely to follow-up with more of similiar magnitude.
- "...This... Is the power... Of the Tsuchi Clan."
- (Saifex Tsuchi)
- Abdul had been pushed far by the other's explosion- singed, lightly burned, he would not forgot the loss of some hair set ablaze atop his alabster head by the other's potent fire magic. Sprinting ahead initially, Abdul's course abruptly changed the moment Saifex distorted the natural color of flame beyond belief: the fledgling's hues widen, if only for the fact that he has never seen such phenomena anywhere else in the world, ever.
- With pupils the side of pinpricks he watches- his heart thuds like a drum inside his chilly breast, as with a single deafening furor of ascended pyromancy, an enormous torrent of solidifd, sky-blue flames are loosed toward him. Though slow, the azure wave is thorough, devouring literally everything in sight... while caution would have served him well in evading the slow technique, his prior reckless charge and impulsive gambles at victory cost him here.
- Abdul immediately sprints to his side- the difference between life or death is measured now only by his ability to evade the steadily widening column of incendiary destruction, a gluttonous pyre that is more than just immediately destructive; near it, all things melt, simply unable to withstand the all-consuming heat nearby. The air rippling off the incredibly hot mass of Tsuchi magic is equally immolating, scalding Abdul's skin all over his left side; the greyish skin withers further, waning in elasticity, as it begins to wither and bubble with sickly hisses of cooked flesh.
- The race however is a stalemate and soon the wash of flame accelerates, pushed by the other's incredible will- Abdul's body hastily disgorges into a sanguinous mist of gory substance, spilling outward in a flood of odious substance, but its edges are continually devoured and entire chunks are lost in the incredible explosion- the technique so boldly named 'draconic typoon' proves to be worth its lofty title.
- ... But this is no ordinary fledgling the Tsuchi faces; though sight of Abdul vanishes in the azure flashes and explosions of blue flame, amidst the ashen ruins and barren wastes of cinder and embers left behind in the ruinous land where a forest once was before the column of cold blue flame roared abound, a putrid bloody mist rises from holes in the ground once inhabited by prairie dogs and subterranean Yokai- it gushes and gurgles, forming a bloody cloud that slowly produces the shape of a severely burned Abdul- missing one cheek, and burned in gnarled stretches of black and red flesh.
- But he is intact- and most of all, he is furious.
- The vampire rushes at the Tsuchi- but at no visible angle, for the shadows created by the clouds of smoke rising above from the immolation of all the once-living forestry twist and warp at the nightkin's malign whim. Abdul approaches from every angle at Saifex with an uncanny, deceptive speed- only for his facades to vanish as dissipating spectres of shadow, and for the real one to swing his blade true across the Drakanite's gut.
- A splash of blood is released in the wake of the saw-like blade. It cuts cleanly, and sadistically; two more slashes follow, hewing through the Aegis vampire hunter's gauntlets in splashes of sparks and blood as metal tears metal before dipping into flesh messily. The trio of strikes transpire in but one and a half seconds, before the vampire once again advances on the Tsuchi- except, he does not rush him from the front, dissipating once more into a sanguinous cloud only to reappear from behind; this time, with the grasp of his right arm upon the other's left wing.
- The reptilian member is tugged harshly; fingers dig through the scaly membranes, before bone is seized. The moment gravity drops Abdul's heels to the ground he spins, circles twice on a single heel, before hurling Saifex outward- directly into the face of a cottage-sized boulder, seemingly the only thing to have survived the voracious forest fires. The drakanite strikes it with an incredible thud.
- But even afterward, despite having been hurled thirty feet away, there's no rest- an enraged and visibly damaged Abdul is already sprinting toward the chosen wielder of the Azure flames; the vampire is damaged, limited intelligence momentarily quelled, and desperate to tear open the Tsuchi's noble artieries for the deathly bloodfeast within!
- (Abdul Haruke)
- Back against stone, and induced into heavy bleeding, he was forced to pant with fatigue-- A losing battle, midst a torched land of charred remains, the duo found themselves in spiralling conflict, through the fire and flames. Strained expression flexed to the surface, the Will to persist, to fight, to survive burned intensively within his form, baring back against the boulder, even as he slid for the earth below.
- He fell to his feet, stumbling to his knees, and caught himself with outstretched palms. Though, even with severe, compounding injuries-- He found the power to stand once more. He shook some, trembling as he stood upright, but eventually straightened out. Eventually, was terminology that exaggerated the mercy granted-- The fledgling seemingly lacked such a quality, and was less than likely to grant hiatus, for Saifex's recovery.
- Unlike the threats before, this wasn't in the name of a nation, or village; It wasn't in the name of power nor pride; Such proved not means of even evolution-- It was unadulterated blood-lust, driving such vile entities to their aggressive instinct. The thirty feet were closed in a matter of seconds, leaving him with only a single action to take to his defense. The Draconic wings were lashed out, in hopes that an advantage could be earned in such desperate measures.
- A single beat conjured a gust that propelled his figure for the skies above, taking up aerial tactics, in his battered form. Limited endurance and crippling fatigue left his altitude strictly boarded, barely breaking the canopy-line.
- (Saifex Tsuchi)
- Ascension brought birth to the pivotal point in conflict, one-in-which, the Tsuchi unleashed pyro-mastery unseen by those intermingled with in the past. The flames that surrounded the make-shift arena, left the ground they fought upon, a harden earth of ashes, and blacken stone. Black snow fluttered for the earth where Abdul inhabited, prelude to the transformation Saifex induced upon the enviornment itself. Where the ring parted them from spectators that could've idled beyond the conflict's boundaries, conflagarations ascended peeling over not to formate waves, but a dome.
- The flames circled, carving into the earth below at the base, whilst walls from all 360 degrees towered for the epicenter above: Saifex, the Pyromancer. The atmosphere altered in tint, adopting a tangerine hue, just as the temperature soared.
- "Welcome..." He introduced the technique, "To my Inferno." He finished, the dome's construction was complete, generating winds in its superheated wake, blasting away at those around its exterior. Though, to those within, the air only circulated, humidity that idled within the air boiled, hissing at the incinerated remnants of those within.. To all, but Saifex's own, leaving an exception to apparel, and pressing a orange gleam upon his Aegis armor.
- A thin layer of mana betwixt flesh, armor and flames, narrowly prevented the pyromancer from torching himself in the process. With a heated atmosphere, and fast-moving air shifting within the dome, flight came with ease; Movement on his part, was nigh accelerated, amplified, and thus, he took advantage of it. A soar for the vampire, defiant to the wrath it'd possessed left the Tsuchi planting a weak fist in for Abdul's right, remaining cheek.
- The impact alone, was more likely to be resisted with extreme ease, hardly shifting the positioning of one's head-- Though, the arousal of his battlecry, sparked a flair of flames against the flash, birthing a palm-sized explosion to bring the Harukean into a stature of recoil.
- Wings flapped once more to close the distance, though left him open to a strike upon his heated armor. Swipes against the malleable metal, allowed the blade to sink through it with explicit ease, oozing past nigh molten steel to scathe the flesh beneath.
- By time the scuffle's end, Saifex was grounded, but standing upright. The chestplate of one's armor was obliterated, leaving exposed flesh to an oncoming blade.
- Within the Tsuchi's right hand, was yet another fabrication of the Incendiary artistry practiced before-- Flames, concentrated into tangible constructs: A javelin, held off to the side, firmly grasped and prepped for launching upon the Abdul.
- "Is it hot enough for you, yet?" He taunted, flames transcending down the spectrum, though at a far slower pace than Saifex's personal transformation-- Evidently, from his panting form, the act was taxing on his figure; Overtime, the heatdome, was intended to sap away at fatigue via burning away at the oxygen supply available to them both, and slowly incinerate foes from the outside in-- Though, it wasn't a very well-thought out idea, desperate times, called for desperate measures.
- (Saifex Tsuchi)
- Abdul's fatal plunge did not find purchase upon the momentarily boulder-plastered Drakanite, but the vampire was quick to resume his assault- however, the master pyromancer denied any further attacks by soaring above and further covering himself with an utter furor of flame: a dome of pyromantic masses was produced, emboldened by the azure flames and full of coursing hot winds that immediately began to scald and burn the already harshly damaged vampire.
- Fortunately, he could stand to endure much more- skinless fangs chitter as he braces his sword and moved to try and jump at the Drakanite. The saw-like blade is readied again, still anointed in fresh blood, almost eager for another quench of its vile spirit into flesh- yet the descending fist of one Saifex Tsuchi foils the nightkin's attempted pursuit, albeit not his swing.
- A horizontal gash swiftly streaks across the other's leg... but not without an explosion of flame detonating upon the other half of Abdul's face, loosing a sizzling shriek of melted flesh. From jaw to cheekbone the vampire's skin is entirely immolated- a mostly cooked, very bacon-like mess of ashen flesh plops wetly upon the ground a short distance away, blown asunder by the explosive strike and guided abound by fiery winds.
- Abdul himself staggers backward; worse for wear, his limbs begin to shake. His knees waver while the other speaks- for a time, he feels as if he's lost the lead: that it all comes down to the next few minutes, perhaps only seconds even. The former Oscuri is thrown into dissonant panic. "Praise..." He begins speaking, as his fractured mind reaches out into the darkness of what he'd lost hold of from a time before undeath. "PRAISE..." Begins the fiend- who, with a sudden flush of unholy strength summoned from untapped potential, steadies his knees.
- The praise returns to mind- and with it, his fury.
- The vampire launches forward in a shadowy blur of distorted figures- all of Abdul, all with grimacing but dark-swathed visages of terrible fury, the menacing ire of each caricature undiluted despite occlusion. "PRAISE AZRAEL!" Shouted the vampire at last, having seized some fragment of meaning in those words... something that gave them great will, not unlike zealous faith.
