(8:25:46 PM) IterationDrive: The walls come down--battles are over, the victors in each obvious--though Nex is already being carried off by a drone, his blue-skinned foe looking oddly apprenhensive about it. Others are the same, the heavily wounded or damaged--Sherl's counterpart, for one. It looks like Astraea and Yeka both came out of hteir fights victorious; the short, power-armored figure's helmet cut off, revealing
(8:25:46 PM) IterationDrive: a wide, surprisingly youthful face even as the drones help him limp off, and the dryad princess' sister looking... quite unamused, as most of her clothes seem to have been burned off and Astraea's pistols emerge from a flamethrower they had formed. (8:25:47 PM) IterationDrive: squads! Ten minute break, then lecture resumes!"
(8:29:17 PM) ***Chou smiles widely. "That was simple enough~"
(8:30:23 PM) Sherl: Sherl bounces over to the others, unscathed, though she pops up on tiptoe and cranes her neck, looking around the room, as if searching for someone.
(8:30:38 PM) Sherl: Then she drops back to the flats of her feet and beams at her companions. "That was fun!"
(8:32:21 PM) IterationDrive: Astraea nods, fluttering her wings a bit. "She wasn't much of a fighter. Did like to talk, though," she notes. Yeka stretches. "Mine was pretty close, I didn't expect a guy in power armor to be a hacker--he nearly got into my stack. Anyone see what happened to Nex? I'm a little worried, they were carrying him out before all the barriers even finished dropping."
(8:35:33 PM) Sherl: "No, I didn't, I was busy with my opponent!"
(8:45:25 PM) ***Chou shakes her head

(8:46:32 PM) IterationDrive: Astraea nods. "Yeah, I didn't see anything... we could maybe ask the blue guy?"
(8:48:11 PM) Sherl: "He doesn't look happy!" Sherl notes. "We should ask quick, though, since we only have ten minutes!"
(8:54:14 PM) ***Chou nods. "Feel free to." She smiles. "I'm happy to just wait to find out from Nex~"
(9:01:05 PM) ***Sherl looks at Astraea.
(9:01:09 PM) Sherl: "Want to?"
(9:02:28 PM) IterationDrive: The winged catgirl purses her lips, then nods. "What's the worst that happens?"
(9:06:38 PM) Sherl: "After you!"
(9:06:46 PM) Sherl: She tucks in behind Astraea, like a good maid should.
(9:14:48 PM) IterationDrive: Astraea blinks, but leads the way over towards the white-armored, lbue-skinned bald man. He's more or less alone, the rest of his squad being rather injured save for one of teh two dryads, who has boughed out for a moment it seems. he blinks over at them. "Ah... yes, can I help you?"
(9:15:45 PM) Sherl: "We were hoping to find out what happened to Nex! Being shipped out with a drone surprised us!"
(9:18:01 PM) IterationDrive: "Ah, well." He rubs the back of his neck. "We'd scarcely traded blows when he just... fell over, twitching. The arena blared something about a psychic overload, and... well, you saw the rest."
(9:31:47 PM) Sherl: "Oh, aww...he probably wasn't used to fighting!" Sherl bows to him. "Thank you for explaining!"
(9:32:17 PM) IterationDrive: "Oh, it's, no problem," he says, scratching his head softly. Astraea nods. "Yeah, but still, thanks. He's our friend, so we were worried."
(9:35:21 PM) ***Sherl curtsies to the Blue Man Solo Act and follows Astraea back to the others. "He said Nex had a psychic whammy and just fell over!"
(9:43:16 PM) IterationDrive: Astraea nods. "Never heard of that before, but... I dunno. Not my area of expertise, I guess. I hope he's okay..." YEka frowns. "Hmm. I'll ,uh... I'll have to look into that, I wonder if... hmm."
(9:52:32 PM) Sherl: "Well, can't do anything about it now! Lectures are gonna be back in five minutes or so!"
(9:52:41 PM) Sherl: She hops up again, trying to spot a flash of rainbow.
(10:03:58 PM) IterationDrive: Yeka blows out a little breath, nodding. Sherl does spot a flash of rainbow--apparently unharmed--but before anything can really come of it, the teacher steps back up. "Alright, fall in. Lecture time, you can chat afterwards! I'll get personal reports for all of you filed, but right now it's time for the boring stuff." She snaps her power armored fingers, and a bunch of desks appear...
(10:10:28 PM) Sherl: Sherl takes her place in one of the desks, sweeping her tail out from behind her so it doesn't get smushed and assuming an attentive pose.
(10:26:40 PM) ***Chou takes her place, smiling widely.
(10:28:38 PM) IterationDrive: The teacher moves to in front of a desk, adjusting her snarling-wolf helmet on it before turning to the class. "So, everyone here has now fought at least once. And either won, or were shown mercy to. You've been blooded, at least a little bit... I want you all to open up your journal programs. And I want you to write about it. How it felt. What you did. What worked, and waht didn't. I want
(10:28:38 PM) IterationDrive: all of you to keep records. Every fight you have. You survive, you write it down. You learn. You ask questions."
(10:32:58 PM) ***Chou raises an eyebrow but nods
(10:36:03 PM) IterationDrive: "So, that said--any of you have questions about your fight/ I saw them all, after all."

(10:45:30 PM) Sherl: Sherl raises her hand, then seems to think better of it, quickly pulling it back down.
(10:45:55 PM) IterationDrive: The long-eared woman glances to Sherl--but then goes on to take other questions from other fighters, answering many over the rest of the class...
